No. I don't want to improve my gaming experience and thus I'm selecting this option because you've pretty much boxed me in to it. I know I don't actually have to select anything anyway but I'm compelled to cast a vote. I know I can go to viewtopic.php?f=31&t=268404 if I really wanted to voice my opinion.

The Abel Imaginarium wrote:@SWITH.....AH crap sorry....I was supposed to replaced Nephilim with Meta-human but I misplaced it at where the name "Ayumi"was suppose to be at :palm:

genius!

as for atomic vision.....probably because it was listed under a list of Byakugan powers  ....not sure really......but why is it too OP?.... :( ...do you want me to change it?

EDIT

Yup changed ze mistake :)

Your Nation's Nickname: Abel

Character Name (can be different than nation name):
Ayumi

Character Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc):
Meta-Human

Character Powers/Special Abilities (if any):
360 Degree Vision
Deflection
Aura Reading
Counter
Ninjutsu
Chi Manipulation

Character Weaknesses/Flaws:
- While using Byakugan, Ayumi can still have minor blindspots within her field of vision and naturally is unable to see behind herself unless she turns her head around. She can also get overwhelmed by a whole load of sensory information if she receives them all at once and will have to temporarily deactivate her Byakugan for a while.
- People's aura can only be read if they are within her physical visual range.
- Can still take damage when countering an attack and as such can be struck down if she does not have the strength to counter that attack.
- Excessive use of chi will also make her feel fatigue.
- She needs to do alot of hard mental and physical training/practice in order to maintain control over the chi within herself.
- Chi is not finite and can be used up quickly if she overexerts herself too much.

Character Background:
Ayumi is the 16 year old adopted sister of Abel Lee and one of his Genin students/protege under his personal tutelage. Ayumi was raised up as an orphan within The St. Mary & The Saints Institute for Poor and Abandoned Children. Her childhood was one filled with loneliness and constant fear as her shyness and awkwardness isolated her from the other kids while bullies constantly made her the victim of their petty squabbles. Ayumi & Abel first met each other during the zombie outbreak that made Iridescent famous as a legendary shinobi hero. She was one of the capable survivors who helped him rescue the remaining uninfected and escape together with them from the infested city. Ever since then she has remained with Abel as she has nowhere else to go (the orphanage and its inhabitants were destroyed during the zombie outbreak). Despite her lack of self-confidence, Ayumi is one of Abel's best and most powerful Genin ninjas. She has somehow managed to gain control of the negative and positive energy forces within her body, balancing them and thus making herself a very formidable opponent during a fight. Her hand-to-hand combat skills can almost be on par with that of her sensei.

Additional Notes:
Theme Song #1

URL to Apartment Picture:
Same apartment as Iridescent

Link to RP examples: (this MUST be a DIRECT LINK to your IC post in an RP, NOT a link to the RP itself. If you don't have examples, make your biography good.)

IMPORTANT:
One paragraph that sums up your character. This paragraph is what we'll use on your player tab on the first page of the thread. This MUST be brief. Your tab will contain a link to your application so people will have full details:
Shy, gentle and really bashful, Ayumi is the perfect example of a pure virgin girl who is somewhat new to the ways of the cruel and modern world. She doesn't know how to properly react to compliments and sarcasm and often hides behind Abel like a timid 8 year old kid when meeting new people. But do not underestimate her to be a very weak and easy-to-beat opponent during a battle. Her character and personality totally changes during a fight and she becomes very serious, solemn and focused.

Approved.

Abel Lee a.k.a Iridescent
Abel has a really calm and cool attitude. No matter in what kind of situation he is in, he will always have that care-free, tardy, "go with the flow" kind of behaviour. But make no mistake. Abel often does this to trick his opponents and make them underestimate his true skills & value. From day one he would have already carefully cross-examined & analysed his new friends, allies & rivals......figuring out multiple different possible ways to counter them emotionally and physically should he face them in a battle/challenge. Abel never really shows his true weaknesses and feelings to anybody. Although he might seem really friendly, shy and awkward around people, he is in-fact really apathetic to their lives and problems. Yes he is honestly a dependable character who would always remain loyal and and faithful to his 'friends' & family. But..........when the greater good is concerned, he would never hesitate to stab them in the back or sacrifice them to eliminate a major threat. Full Details.

Anyway, we're close to the end of this thread and we'll probably eat up pages this weekend with CreepFest and other stuff. Do you want me to go ahead and do a new OOC since I have time tonight?

I'm going to beat you with a shoe.

Keep that in mind.

The beatings will come.

Soon.

Yup. If you have time and don't mind making the new page. The new IC was done last month. Thought the pages would move faster but people starting taking IC gaming seriously.

@Tsu. That's fine.

Edit. Actually, I might redo the unused IC.

We do it on Friday. You can bring Eru if you want. I just need to know fears, both for you and for your character.

The fears for you might be to avoid causing you stress. For example, I won't describe heights too graphically because Swith has a phobia of them.

Alright. But I'd be bringing Ray, not myself. Unless I actually am Ray, who has stolen the body of a 15-year-old male.

In any case:

Eru (myself)
-Fear of bugs. The ones that cause 'fear' include spiders (which aren't bugs but whatever; these are the worst for me by far), ants, and anything that's creepy-crawly with several legs and horrific features.
-Fear of hatred, or anger of other people towards myself.
-Fear of horrific deaths. Burning alive, drowning, slowly tortured to death, etc.
-Fear of abandonment, friends or family.
-Fear of hurt. Damage done to friends or family, or simply to others in general. Horrific torture is a double-bonus.
-Fear of the crap my own mind can do to me. In dark environments, when no one else is around, I can start to hear and/or imagine things that want to hurt me. Which is why I hate the pitch-black dark when I'm tired but still awake.

Ray
-Fear of horrific deaths, as mentioned.
-Fear of loss, especially of Albert.
-Fear of things that can take over your body and use it to whatever means, including reproduction of offspring in one's stomach and mind-control.
-Fear of abandonment.
-Fear of his Cousin Leo. If you'll remember waaay back, I did a backstory thing for Ray in which it revealed he killed his cousin. Long story short: cousin was a successful banker until his immediate family was killed in an accidental fire, in which he lost everything and was forced to move in with Ray's family. He became emotionally scarred and vowed to never loose anything again, and to regain what he once had. This at one point lead to murder, which was then uncovered by Ray in an investigation into the death by morphine. Ray uncovered the truth and ran off on his own to confront his cousin, and when ambushed, he killed Leo. For a year, after he was kicked from the force, Ray continuously imagined Leo in both a child-like innocent form and his bullet-ridden corpse form, who would bother Ray until the PTSD dulled down to where it would no longer do so thanks to therapy.

Is there anything that you, as a player, would be very uncomfortable playing out? That's my main concern. You can TG if you don't want to make it public.
