Sarah followed Samantha as she led them towards her sister and her friend, and continued listening to her as she told her more about the boy that was with Hanah. He was called Roy, and they'd apparently met through sheer coincidence, but Sarah figured that it didn't really matter how they met as long as they got along well, which seemed to be the case. Sarah giggled a bit as her sister mentioned that Hanah had been irked when she returned from taking the phone call and found them together, but didn't say anything about it. She joked about that kind of thing with Sam all the time, but usually limited herself when around Hanah or when talking about her. Still, it was nice to see that she had a new friend that she liked to be with.

Once they found Roy and Hanah, Sarah decided to walk up to them. Hanah might've been irked once again, but it didn't matter; she could at least greet her and the boy, and then she'd go away, and they would be able to go on with their hanging out or whatever they were doing. With that in mind, she approached until she was close enough. "Hanah! There you are. Have you been taking pictures?" She asked, before turning to look at the boy. "And you must be Roy. It's a pleasure to meet you." She said, though after a moment her smile faded slightly. "Is something the matter? You look concerned."

"Umm... no... sorry." Hanah frowned too, "We... may have some trouble Sis." She spoke, referring to the red hooded men. A look in her eye change, her eyes seeming to flash slightly. "I smell aggression. Something is going to happen. An attack." She remarked. She didn't even realise she might reveal her less than fully human nature, but her natural instincts were beginning to take over. Like an animal challenged, she was on edge.

"If I had to guess I'd say the world isn't ready for your voice yet." Spoke a voice inside Chorus' head, a voice that belonged to a young man, though there was something peculiar to it. If one had to make an educated guess, one would likely say that it sounded... glitchy. Most of the time, it sounded perfectly normal, for an ethereal soul-voice at least, but, at random intervals, it would instead sound as if five people with the same voice were speaking. Regardless, the voice was friendly, despite having been harvested through the repeated murder of a single man. "Now, now, don't cry, it doesn't suit you. Instead of that I'd suggest you try to find out what the hell happened here, but I think it would be better if you learned to control your voice now that it has an explosive edge to it. Maybe if you head to some abandoned place you'll be able to practice safely?" The voice suggested. "I'm not quite sure, but maybe with my power you can fly away from here. Oh, and by the way, about back there, you're welcome. It's not like I have anything better to do around here anyway." There was an ethereal chuckle, and then finally the voice fell silent again, the way it had been for a long while before the present.

"Well, I don't really have a mentor. So that's going to be kind of hard... All things considered. I... Had a mentor" She sniffled, a tear accidentally coming loose. "I... I don't know what I'd do without him Gilbert... I've known him for so long. What can I do? He's so... Verse is..."

Right here

Verse turned sharply. A black haired boy stood there, a smile on his face and hands in his pockets. He had a blue glow to him, and Chorus would have doubted it was him if not for his cruel yet humourous sense of timing and the voice. The voice was one she never would forget.

She was about to speak, but she covered her mouth, the black haired Chorus smiled as he calmly walked forward, and then gently moved her hand and sat in front of her.

This is not permanant. Your voice has great power now, but it can be controlled. Given time.

Chorus paused for a second, and then hugged the boy in front of her. She let out tears, but not sobs. Then after the hug, she drew back and asked. "...Why?" It was the only question that seemed to work.

Why you have these powers? Part Darkseids 'untimely' death, though it couldn't have come sooner, it came at a very bad time. Since you were just wading through a voice buffet. You now have the power of countless voices in you, and rather than being a walking bomb, something about these two events have made you... something else.

Why I have the body of a child? That... is still unclear. But I... do remember more now. I feel I may need to tell you more about myself. Things I was not able to before.

Why I took my sweet time coming bacK? Well... I had some getting used to when it came to our new predicament as well...

"The last of the five?"

Don't know. But this is not the time for him...

Chorus paused, and then nodded. Fair enough.

Right now... There is someone who can help us. A couple of options actually. Though we'll have to see if they'll take us.

Charmera wrote:"Demons. Aren't they just annoying? Think you can just chat with a sparring buddy... but noooooo..." Mused Glacia, turning to face the two energy signatures. She cracked her knuckles in anticipation and as a threat. "So, the annoying one is Towa, while the mute one is Mira, am I guessing right?" She asked. "Like the Saiyan says, I'm guessing your not here just to be coy, come on. Tell us what your here for."

Hiroshi:

Golden energy whipped around Hiroshi as he flared his power, lightening scattering off his frame. Given the power of the large one, he wasn't going to risk going in without his full power. Bounding back, the Hybrid landed in front of Glacia, shifting so he covered the acrosian.

Glacia's comments seemed well received, seeing as the larger, stupider demon floated forwards, closing his fists and banging them together as though he intended to fight. As thrill ugh as the prospect was, Hiroshi had no clue how powerful this demon was, and he couldn't risk Supreme Kai's planet or Glacia, seeing as she was an important ally in this whole war.

" Mira, don't be so overprotective. I must apologize." She remarked, laughing lightly. " He's very protective of me, my Mira. We're not even here to scuffle with you, we're here to help you. As it stands, the only way for Otherworld to survive this coming battle is for you to become much stronger. Not this." She commented, looking disgustedly at Glacia.

" We've seen your defeat millions of times." The male demon added, blood red ki flaring violently around him one more time before he rejoined ranks with the female. " If the Kai's could see into he fabric of reality as we could, they'd see it as well."

Hiroshi swallowed uncomfortablely as he shifted in his boots, staring out at the demons. " Well it's nice you think that, but I'm not a cocky asshole." The Saiyan commented. " At least not anymore. The Saiyans aren't the center of the universe, they never were. My power isn't that important."

" It talks to much." Mira growled.

" Now Mira." Towa cautioned. " No need to be pushy. Hiroshi just needs a push in the right direction. He focuses to much on gaining his own power, if he gave in and accepted our gift, he'd be so much more powerful. The good in you has weakened you. Years of protecting these pathetic creatures on Earth has made you weak and frail. Your feelings have made you soft, if you'd left that daughter of yours, and that red woman behind, you'd have been able to defeat Garlic sooner, and have never died. Broly would have fallen to you like grass before the scythe. Imagine what you could be had you not abandoned your warriors pride."

Hiroshi sweated nervously as he looked at the two demons, turning slightly to lock eyes with Glacia, gauging her reaction.

Glacia frowned. She pushed Hiroshi slightly, not content with being protective. "You concern is touching in theory Hiroshi, but insulting in practice Hiro. I don't need nor want protecting." She then looked at the two demons then and Hiroshi. A "And why are you looking at me? You're the one these demons want. I'm chopped liver apparently to them." She shrugged. "You need to choose for yourself whether you take the easy way out or attempt to stick it out. Letting someone else choose for you is the first path to loosing yourself."

"Though, for the record. Demons are like salesmen. They will try and sell you this power and attempt to hide away the price tag. I'd say whatever they're offering isn't worth it."

Kirisvala felt relieved when Mars said that he was alright and that he hadn't received any serious damage. She nodded when he suggested that she should get some sleep too, but didn't move just yet, noticing that he still had the flask and waiting for him to drink a drop of the golden liquid inside. When he stated that the tear worked and he felt much better, she smiled brightly and nodded once again. "Of course it works, dummy. Did you think I was lying to you or something like that?" She said light-heartedly, giggling at the fact that he seemed to be so surprised about it. "Hadrian tears can cure wounds, so hold on to that flask and use it whenever you need it. I can't promise I'll give you a quick refill if you use it all up, though." She commented. To refill the flask she would have to cry, after all, something she preferred not to do. "Oh, and if it creeps you out you can just think of it as a magic potion instead."

With that said, the pink-haired Hadrian girl gave Mars' shoulder a gentle squeeze and then stood up. "I'm going to get some rest like you said. Please do the same." She said to Mars, letting out a yawn before heading back to her seat and leaning back, relaxing. It did not take her very long to fall fast asleep, as she was, indeed, exhausted after the mission. She had used quite a few spells and lots of magic bullets against Sionis and Bane's troops, after all, and even though the pendant that Mars gave her empowered her attacks significantly, this also meant that more energy was expended in a shorter ammount of time, which tired her out more than it would otherwise. She knew that she would have to train herself to improve her endurance.

But for now, she slept.

"It's night already..." Remarked Xyri, back to her normal height of merely freakishly tall rather than King Kong tall. "This was an interesting day. We fought a monkey." She didn't seem to be as upset that she lost her genius IQ by giving up Grodd anymore, but it still bothered her.

"Vera... Do you think I'm... stupid?" She asked the other superhero as they walked through the door. "I... couldn't even help with the paperwork when I spat him out..." Xyri couldn't write. She could read, but not write.

Disney World
Roy was still glancing over at the suspicious men in red hoodies when Hannah's sisters and two people he didn't recognize approached them. The girl came up and ran over to Hannah, and Roy guessed by appearance that she was Hannah's sister as well. He was about to greet Sarah in turn when suddenly Hannah seemed to tense up. She said she smelled agression and an attack was coming. Roy was about to ask what she meant by "smelled" when suddenly he realized was was happening. The men in red hooded had surrounded the large consession stand, that had to be their target.

There were a large number of people surrounding the stand though, and he had to warn them. He knew there wasn't time, so he decided to risk a direct approach. "Bomb!" He shouted as people began to flee the stand in panic. The men in red the red hoodies then began to take off their vests, and threw them into the concession stand and then began to run away from it quickly.

Roy knew those bombs were about to go off, and he had to protect the epoepl around him. Even if that meant reveling himself as a freak to his new friends. He raised his hands and closed his eyes and focused, shoring out a bit in exertion as a wall of dark energy emerged from his hands, emcompsing Hannah, Sam, Sarah, and John, as well as other civilians that were in range.

When the explosion was ovee, Roy fell to his knees, out of breath from such a large blast of dark energy. He didn't look up, as he was worried Hannah and the others would see him as a freak.

"Worldmind! Come in, Worldmind! Dammit, why aren't you answering!?" Jamal shouted as he escaped Earth's atmosphere, heading towards Ego. "Worldmind, if you can hear me, Ego the Living Planet has decided to pay a visit to Earth. I'm performing a trans-atmospheric recon right now, and I suggest you scramble those newcomer corpsmen before shit hits the f-"

"[Calm yourself, Jamal. I can hear you quite clearly...]" Worldmind's voice boomed out of the mouth of Ego.

"Are you fucking kidding me!? Ego is an insane freak that --"

"[Ego is exactly what I have been searching for ever since the tragic loss of Xandar. Full restoration has now begun.]"

"Have you lost your mind!? It's Ego!" Jamal shouted, searching for a sufficient entry point into the Living Planet.

"[It is a viable structure in which sentience may thrive. The planet is strong and enduring. It will serve my needs sufficiently.]"

Jamal stopped abruptly as he was cut off by the Nova Centurions. They stood before him and saluted, bringing their left hand to their chests and arching them up at a 45 degree angle. Leading the pack was the female Centurion, whose name he had learned during the flight home, called Irani. Behind her was the giant floating metallic, well, head who he learned was called Qubit and the man who Jamal initially thought was human at first but discovered that he was Shi'ar, Malik Tarcel -- Tarcel for short.

"Nova Prime! Welcome to Nu-Xandar!" Irani exclaimed with an emotionless expression, the lack of a personality beyond that of a paper bag a common trait among her species, the Rigellians. But damn, was she intelligent.

"What's wrong, Nova Prime? You seem displeased." Tarcel asked.

"Do you guys really not see the problem with this?" Jamal said. Then, he realized that there were more than the five Centurions he initially met. "He even recruited more? And are they human!?"

"The Worldmind has transferred his sentience into a perfect host carrier. These are times for celebration, are they not? Especially for you." Irani stated.

"What do you mean?" Jamal asked, a little on edge.

"You were the sole repository for the entirety of the Nova Force. That is a huge responsibility and burden for any one person, one you are not relieved of." Irani explained. "Do not take this the wrong way. You managed well, however the risk to your sanity was ever present. That risk is now gone."

Jamal sighed. "I want to talk to Worldmind face to face."

"It would be an honor to conduct you to the hub." Irani said with a bow.

The group flew into one of Ego's craters. Jamal saw structures resembling huts that were connected via a complex system of bridges and stairs, all appearing to be made out of Ego's body. "[As you can see, organic recomposition is already underway and accomodation and training zones for the future Centurion regiments--]" Qubit began.

"Not in the mood right now, Qubit." Jamal cut him off. "You've been really busy, haven't you, Worldmind? You've had to have been organizing this for weeks just to take possession of Ego and re-model him."

"[Months, actually.]" Worldmind corrected him, as the group entered the hub, with a large projection of a giant human looking head with the Nova Prime helmet, a physical representation of Worldmind, in the center of the room.

"Oh, well that makes the backstabbing so much better." Jamal landed in front of the projection. "We had a relationship built on trust, Worldmind."

"[Trust? Have you not been resistant to the rebirth of the Corps? I am eternally grateful for your service and protection, however your willful insubordination has undoubtedly caused friction between us.]"

"So you're pissed that I haven't followed every order of yours like a dog?" Jamal said, taking off his helmet.

"[We operate at fundamentally different levels. I am a class G collective artificial intelligence, whereas you have a human brain cultivated by relatively primitive evolution.]"

"So, I'm stupid, is what you're saying?" Jamal scowled.

"[No, our perspectives are merely at odds. I believed that the rebuilding of the Nova Corps was the most important objective, while you failed to appreciate this. It was either rebuild the Corps without your knowledge or potentially never see the Corps revived again.]"

"And so Ego was your choice!?"

"[Ego is not a threat. He is merely a structure as much as your apartment is. I have suppressed and overwritten his higher functions in order to assume dominance.]"

"Wow, so you lobotomized him."

"[That is an unnecessarily simplistic way of looking at it. Ego is a willing host. This is an incredibly necessary step for securing the safety of not only the galaxy, but the universe. I cannot help but feel as though there are personal motivations for your resistance.]"

"You know what, fuck this." Jamal said, putting his helmet back on.

"[Where are you going, Jamal? Where is still a great deal to be discussed, including the transfer of the main reserves of the Nova Force into power cells here on Nu-Xandar]"

"I know! I just... I need time to clear my head." Jamal left, flying out of Ego and heading back to Earth. A mere second after entering the lower atmosphere of Earth above New York, he once again abruptly stopped as he was once again cut off. In front of him was none other than the Fantastic Four themselves, in their Fantasticar, backed up by a shit ton of fighter jets and military helicopters. Jamal stared a the group in an awkward silence before simply blurting out, "I can explain!"
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

Genesis/Daniel Cruise

Daniel was laying in his bed, waking up from a good nap. He walked towards the window, and looked out onto the skyline of Coast City. He saw the children play on the beach, and watched as cars drove by. "Ah, what a lovely day. Everyone is happy, and they all look like they are having a great time. Maybe there won't be any disturbances today". He chuckled when he said that, but he was optimistic that today would be an easy day for him". The time was 8:30 AM, and Daniel went to go get his morning coffee at the café down the street. He got up, took a shower, and put on a jacket, some black jeans, and Nike sneakers. He passed his butler, Mr. Hodges, who asked "Is there anything I can do for you, sir?" Daniel replied "No, I'm just going down to the café". Daniel went into the parking garage and got into his Porsche, and drove off to the café.

When Daniel got there, he went up to the lady at the counter. She said "What can I do for you today, sir?" Daniel replied "Could I have a croissant and cup of coffee, light cream and light sugar?" The lady replied "Yes sir. That will be eight dollars and twenty seven cents". Daniel gave the lady his card, and she said "Hey, Daniel, would you mind if I got your autograph? My son loves superheroes". Daniel said "Why surely. What is the boy's name?" The lady told him "Kevin". Daniel got a picture of him fighting some robbers and signed "Have a great and amazing day, Kevin. From: Genesis. He gave the picture to the cashier, and she said "Thank you, very much. Here is your coffee and croissant". Daniel went and sat down on one of the tables and looked out into the streets. "I love this city so much". As he said his, two small time thieves came in and yelled "Everyone on the ground! Let us get the money, and no one will get hurt, understand!" They moved towards the cashier, and they told her to empty the register. Everyone was so scared and freaked out. Everyone except Daniel.

Daniel walked towards the robbers, and they yelled at him, saying "We are not afraid to shoot! Get on the ground and don't be a hero". The guns were filled with blanks, but no one could've been able to tell. Daniel kept walking towards them, and the robbers ran. He chased them out of the shop, and caught up with them. He did a jumping spin kick to the first robber, and while the second robber was shocked, he roundhouse kicked him right in the jaw, breaking it. Daniel apprehended the thieves, and brought them to the police station, where they were put in jail and given a court date. Daniel went back into the coffee shop to hear every if cheering for him. He loved it. He said "Hopefully nothing else will happen today". And he went back to eating his food and drinking his coffee.

Lord Satera/The Highfather of Mortis

Satera started chuckling at Otis' comment, he found it mildly amusing to say the least, he took joy in the jokes of others as well as their happiness, even if they weren't within the Masaki Galaxy, he loved all life, having inherited Spera's joy and compassion for life around him, but when combined with Alastir's darkened personality, his compassion for his foes becomes virtually non-existent, having no care for the lives of those who he hates with a burning passion, but Otis wasn't one of these people, he was friendly with others and would show them respect, which is what Satera liked to see from all people, regardless of their position of power "That was a pretty good joke there." Satera admitted, his eyes still dancing with curiosity, he still thought that Otis was among one of the most interesting New Gods, not because of his affinity with the Omega Effect, but simply because he was admitted as the second master of the Omega Effect and was not as heartless as Darkseid was.

"Also..." Satera cut in once more "This is not only a golden age for all humankind, but with the powers of godhood being bestowed to hundreds if not thousands of people within mere hours, there shall be a golden age beyond that of Humanity, this is a small period of imbalance that shall eventually be corrected with time, this is a Golden Age for the Second Generation of Gods, a time in which there shall be many major and minor gods."

"I wasn't talking about that... Though I did notice it. I'm talking about us finally getting off Earth and into the universe! That Xander dude has a ton of Kryptonian tech. Which is apparently super advanced. That's what I'm talking about. Though the God thing is cool too." He shrugged and put an arm around his avatar. "I should start a club... Y'know what. There's a bunch of New Gods... That means we have to have a Pantheon!" He said and thought for a moment. "And I guess that means I have to build it. And what better place than..." He smiled and channeled the energy of the Omega Effect to warp them both right on the moon. "Right. I've done some reading on some advanced telekinetics. Supposedly they could manipulate the atoms of matter. Valka did say that Darkseid used psychic powers against her. So let's see..." Otis said and floated several hundred feet above the surface. "Let's get to work!"

His avatar went to work right away, carving out a sizable foundation. Even though he only wielded a fraction of Otis' power, it was quite simple for the avatar to go about it's task. "Not gonna lie, this is freakin' cool. This is really freaking cool." Otis himself decided to do the next part. "Alright... So we'll need a big ass room. And refreshments! Go find out the best refreshments. I'll handle the construction work." He said and thought for a moment. Out of the ground rose large, purple walls, making a perfect cube just slightly smaller than the average Wal-mart. Inside, there were several rooms. Nothing too fancy. A large circular table, capable of seating almost fifty people. The second largest room would be for refreshments. Which would be filled upon his avatar returning from it's job. "Alright... I am starting to see why Darkseid was so terrifying. Makes me wonder how we even beat him in the first place if he's this freaking powerful... Satera, dude. Got any suggestions? Maybe I should add a game room."

Charmera wrote:Katie was quite surprised by the whole exchange between the New God and Valka. The mutant tightened her grip on her hammer, ready to slam it into this guys face. She inhaled, gasping as her breath seemed electrified by an energy in the presence of the Rage God, her eyes glow blue for a scant second or two. Valka's last words gave her the chills, how easily she dispacthed of the being was also somethign impressive. "Remind me never to piss you off..." She remarked. Handing over the hammer. "As for features... well I have electricity powers myself, so perhaps a way to channel my powers into it? With that alone I should be able to pull off some pretty cool things."

Valka chuckled, her face turning much less enraged. "I doubt that it shall occur with thee, Katie," Valka said, laying the hammer down upon the anvil. "This shall be a forging of several hours," Valka said. "You may return to the feasting hall, wander the halls and streets of Asgard, or stay here, and I shall call thee when this work is done." Valka said.

And then, with her hands glowing gold, the Goddess of Forging began to do what she did best. At times her hand was on fire as she shaped this Mjolnir, other times, the rhythmic blow of one hammer upon another could be heard, and other times, she smoothened and spoke enchantments. Sparks of fire and magic blew all around, but Valka paid them no mind, for they could not hurt her. At times there was silence as Valka called her Orb of Cognition to her and watched movies with shotguns, observing them, before continuing. At the last, there appeared to be two weapons, one hammer, and one shotgun, and then Valka, shouting aloud, brought them together, a blue light shining out from her forge before dissipating. And then, she called Katie, and after the mutant arrived, there was Valka, waiting for her, a silver cloth covering the weapon.

And then, she unveiled it, sweeping the cloth aside, crying aloud "Behold! This has been the weapon that has most humored and amused me during its making, for it is of such strange design. Lifting it easily, for it was she who had created the Worthiness Enchantment upon it; Valka tossed Mjolnir to Katie, grinning broadly. "Mjolnir, in the form of a shotgun! It may change instantly from hammer to shotgun, or vice versa, with but a word or thought of only thyself. Its bullets shall never empty and though its shotgun form may appear to be of wood, do not be deceived! It shall never break or chip unless there is a mightier than I in the old forging magic, and I know of no such person. It also possesses several bullet forms, from thy regular bullets, to bullets charged with electricity, which you can enhance or lessen with thy powers. Other bullets possess timed charges, and will explode after 5 seconds. There are a few more features, but those, you must discover for thyself, for that is always the most fun and enjoyable. What do you think?" Valka asked.

Lord Satera/The Highfather of Mortis

Satera watched as Otis utilized the power of the Omega Effect to warp them to the moon, which surprised him, but he did see It coming, considering the fact that he had to occasionally track Otis' unique signature in order to properly locate him before, but what shocked him was the sheer amount of time it took to create the exterior of the complex, that is what amazed him to nearly no end "Wow, this was the quickest construction of an exterior that I've ever seen..." Satera commented, his eyes slightly widened in amazement as he looked back to Otis, but instead of continuing the conversation, he cut straight to the point "I was thinking of a Recreation Room, with not only a Game Room, but with training equipment in order to master the New God's abilities, for example, Kazuko Masaki is the God of Nature, and even though he is proficient in Nature-Type Abilities, he still needs some training, I'm thinking a type of flexible simulation that would force the member of the Simulation to utilize their powers that they've been bestowed with in order to eventually master it, it won't be exactly related to battle, but numerous situations that their Godly Abilities are the best and the worst at." Satera explained.

Satera put his hand on his chin and thought for a moment of what they needed "And perhaps, to bring the New Gods closer together, we should make an entire segment of the facility into closed off quarters that would serve as living quarters for our new Gods, when we gather a sufficient amount of New Gods that join our pantheon, we should ask them what is needed in order to make the living space more to their liking, because I'm not going to lie, some of the New Gods may be scattered about in differing and Isolated Locations and may be hard to get to them, which is why when establishing a long portion of the facility into Private, Closed Off Quarters would we be able to gather our friends and allies in one place rather than going on a witch hunt for them." Satera remarked, still trying to think of what to add into the new facility.

Ekgra AKA 'Ana'-Carter Academy of Superhuman Heroes

The velocity of his blows defied his age, but every hit was precise, aiming for a very specific target as he struck at my abdomen, shoulders ect. The skill of my opponent only served to further frustrate me. I was forced to contemplate his riddle, his criteria for my training while I was constantly defending myself. I was eventually forced into a wall, as we continued to spar, gritting my teeth I entrenched my fingers onto a couch as I picked the large sofa up. Hurling the piece of room decor at high speed at the man, not worried about holding back, I guessed that he has faced much larger threats than me. The retired hero easily evaded the couch by ducking beneath it, and closing the distance quickly, throwing a fast paced punch right at my forehead, the speed of which was so fast that I actually hesitated a moment, long enough to realize that he ceased his punch just inches from hitting me. "So, what is your answer?" The pause was unexpected, and I could not find anything to say. It was hard to think with the fight on my mind. He then pushed further. "How hard could it be to tell me what you see?" His tone seemed to almost insult me. I quickly struck back both verbally and physically, but falling into the same established pattern, I was again evaded.

"I cannot think in a fight!" But just as I retorted I began to feel a cramping sensation across my body, as I fell backward against the wall to support me, now, just starting to feel how exhausted I was. It was then that Daniel, relaxed himself and began to replace his coat and hat upon himself. Then, with a look in his eyes saying that we were finished, he addressed me again, for the first time actually making me feel as if he was instructing me. "Thinking is ALL you must do in a fight. You rely on instinct, you move on reflex. This makes you easy to predict, and if your enemy knows your next move before you do, as I demonstrated. Then you have lost before you even started. So, unless you have a answer to my question, one which convinces me you are worth of receiving my instruction. Then you may consider this your first and last lesson from me. Now...what do you see, beyond your fists?" I gave a heavy breath, sighing as I closed my eyes in thought. But like my bout with Daniel, my answer came without thought, but in that way. It was fully honest.

"I see a obstacle...one that needs to be removed so that I can achieve my goal." The statement was reflective on what little I remembered from my teachings back in my own time. When my kind ruled the Earth, survival was our goal. And nature was far more harsh in those days. As Daniel finished the last of his buttons on his coat. We both locked eyes as he spoke once more.

"And that...is why I will never train you." The realization hit like a meteor. As I could think of only how the truth could not be good enough for Daniel. I never once considered he would honestly turn me down, after all, he revived me. Brought me back from eons of slumber...and for what? To leave me isolated in a age I do not know? I have felt many emotions since waking up, but now. I felt truly alone, as Daniel began to walk away, I could feel the tears begin to fall from my face.

"Why!?" I did not mean to but could not help to scream. "Why wake me at all? You must have had a purpose for me? Some plan!? I hear that you never do anything without a cause! So...why save me!?"

He stopped in his tracks, then he turned and approached me. Sitting down across from me, observing me a moment before answering. "You think I woke you up because I had some predetermined purpose for you?" He removed his hat and then placed it upon a table, which because of our fight was covered in dust and debris. "I brought you back, so that you could find your own purpose. It is a part of being alive. I never had any desire to pressure or force you into a decision. That is why, I never visited you while you were recovering...I never wanted you to feel any obligation to, pay me back so to speak. That is all." He then tucked his hand into a jacket pocket, and pulled out a small pill.

"This will remove the physical exhaustion you feel. Take this, and think on what you have learned. If you ever find your own purpose, let me know. And if you ever want to try to answer my question again, I may perhaps consider altering my position on training you. But, I must know exactly what you would intend to use the skills you may learn from me for. But enough of this talk, you could likely use some time to think. After all, you have had millions of years of sleep."

I took the small pill, and quickly swallowed it. Picking myself up, I began to escort myself out. Noticing for the first time several sets of armor in glass displays around the room. One looked cheap, and was a set of blue and yellow sweats, while the others resembled the Sentinel Armor I saw in the school earlier, but appeared to be...different models. Perhaps lesser known versions of the armor which he wore when he needed. And yet another was all black with a red crest on the chest which I did not recognize. It seems the room I had trashed in my outburst was one in which he stored many of his personnel belongings.

Without another word, I dismissed myself, but just as I was leaving, another man, this one quite muscled and seemingly much fitter human than Daniel entered. He took a momentary notice of me but it was obvious from the way he greeted Daniel, the two were familiar. Leaving the two old friends to converse I left to ponder my future.

"Woah woah woah." He said putting his hands in the air. "Slow down a second there. I'm operating under the knowledge of High-School dropout. I have no idea what a batch of fresh gods are going to need to train. I don't know who this Kazuko guy is, but if he's the god of Nature, then the moon is probably not the best place to practice.... Y'know. Since there's no plants. That, and I know very little about computers." He explained. "As far as gaining new recruits, eh. I can create avatars, remember? From like... Two seconds ago? I'll just send a bunch of them out and about to get some allies. And thank you..." He trailed off. "You're a... What's the word... Fusion. Don't ask me how I know. I can just see it." It was his psionic powers. Satera's consciousness was much different from a normal person.

"Huh. I knew there was something strange. Oh well. Don't bother me none. I've got work to do. Anyways. Since you already know one of the new gods, go get them and bring them here. Cause then... That's 3. Counting us."

Lord Satera/The Highfather of Mortis

As soon as Otis mentioned the fusion, not only did it cause him to widen his eyes in surprise, but Satera's consciousness burst to life with Alastir and Satera communicating with each other once more, and at the next moment, Satera's voice began to change, resembling Spera's own voice "Amazing, you could tell that we were fused? Satera (Spera) asked, who was very much impressed at this discovery, Satera's golden eyes had changed to a light blue color, which indicated Spera's consciousness had taken control of the fusion, allowing him to speak freely through Satera "Ah, you too are a Psionic User, you have access to Telepathy as well..." Satera (Spera) chuckled, rubbing his hand atop his head with an awkward expression on his face "Regarding my son Kazuko..." Satera (Spera) looked back towards an incoming stream of two energy signatures that indicated both Asumar and Kazuko were arriving into the system "They are already here, excuse me for a second..." And with this, Satera shot off towards Kazuko and Asumar, while reforming into his original non-fused form.

As soon as Asumar and Kazuko felt the impending energy signature of their father approach them, the two of them came crashing to a halt, did the fusion expire or something? "Is that father?" Asumar asked, watching as he saw his father approach them before coming to a halt right in front of them. Spera was in his non-fused form, standing proudly with a light blue hue of energy that passively revolved around his body. A smile formed on Asumar's face as he spoke "Father, did your fusion with Alastir expire, I mean I'm happy to see you, but where is Alastir?" Asumar asked, curious as to why his father came to him without his fusion being active.

Spera chuckled and rubbed Asumar's unruly hair "The fusion did not end my son, but I've merely taken control of the fusion for the time being, you see, the new God of the Omega Effect has begun to create a complex for the New Gods that have surfaced, this Is for the countless numbers of New Gods to converse with each other and get on good terms with each other, maybe even establish a balance that the previous generation was unable to maintain, I normally wouldn't ask of you to do this, but Otis does not have much knowledge of Computer Technology, I was thinking that with the resources in the Dynasty at your disposal, you could pin in some effort into completing the complex? I'm sure that you could do it." Spera commented waiting for the conformation from his two only sons.

Asumar and Kazuko quickly looked back to each other and nodded at the same time in agreement, and without further need to wait, Spera reverted back into the form of Satera and led the both of them back to Otis "Our father told us about what you needed, and luckily for you, we are both New Gods and have access to a variety of advanced technology, I'm sure that with our help we could create a small training simulation with the help of Supercomputers that have enough data and space to create a complex training simulation to help train the New Gods that join our ranks, you see, I'm not saying that you need to gather the knowledge of who has what power of the New Gods, but just to gather as many of the New Gods as possible, we can help in the construction of the complex." Asumar explained before he continued "I do lead an empire in another Galaxy and I have full access to every Technological Capability that we have, all I just need is the go-ahead and we will be all set.

Daniel Cruise/Genesis

Daniel drove back home after finishing his meal. He took the coffee with him, and drank the rest of it on the way back. He pulled in the parking garage, and he said to himself "I really need a new house. I like this place, it's just a little small for me. I'll go on real estate websites and see what they have". Daniel went into the front door of his house, and he was greeted by Mr. Hodges, his butler. "Good afternoon, sir. How was your coffee break?" Daniel replied sarcastically "It was a good and normal break. Drank some coffee, beat up two robbers, ate a croissant. You know, the usual stuff". The butler said "That sounds...quite intresting sir. Here, let me clean up the house for you". Daniel simply said "No need. You're dismissed for the day, if you want to go". The butler promptly left and was out of the building in no time. Daniel went and laid down on his bed.

"I wish that I had people who could help me fight crime. This is so exhausting, but it is my civic duty to protect the citizens of Coast City. My dream would be to build a team of super-beings, and we could protect not just this city, but the whole world, maybe even more. I can only dream". Daniel layer around, doing nothing for the entire day. He turned on the TV, and watched some comedy shows for a few hours. He prepared lunch and went back to doing what he was doing". Ever since his parents passed away, he was very lonely. His only personal friend was Mr. Hodges. Daniel walked back to his bed, ate his lunch, and went to work out in the gym. Daniel was somewhat depressed for the whole day, but he would get over it the next. After he worked out, Daniel took a long nap.

"Great!" Otis said. "You guys get the tech. Cause I know as much about that I as do chemistry. Which is nothing... Yeah. Nothing. And I suppose I do have telepathy, I just don't like the idea of looking into someone else's mind. Gotta respect the privacy, yo. People's brains are in the inside of the head for a reason." He explained. It made sense to him. He had his fair share of secrets. It was only fair that everyone else got to keep theirs. "Alright. I'm gonna head back to Attilan and let them know that I'm not dead. Should give you guys plenty of time to grab everything you'll need." He said and channeling the Omega Effect's power once more, teleported just himself back to the royal court of Attilan. "Lucy, I'm home!" Otis said as Queen Medusa almost jumped from the bright flash of light right in front of her. "Sorry. Rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated. I'm back and better than ever! Mostly. Mom's dead."

"Otis?" Medusa asked and stood back up from her throne to get a look at the young man. There were quite a few differences from when she last saw Otis. He was taller, much more toned, his eyes had changed color, but he still had the same carefree attitude that he was known for. "What happened to you? We all thought you died when you killed Darkseid."

"It's a long story... Okay not really. When those portals opened up, I must've gotten sucked through one of them. Some weirdoes on Darkseid's planet grabbed me while I was unconscious. When I came to, I was chained to the floor. It probably would be kinky if I wasn't nearly dead from getting that thrashing by Darkseid. Anyways. They went on about some prophecy that Darkseid was supposed to die, and said that since he did die by my hand, that I'm the one who gets the source of his power. The Omega Something-or-other. I wasn't really paying attention because I was barely alive at that point. Boom. I got the powers. Then I took a few hours to make sure I didn't sneeze and wipe out the next galaxy. I'm still figuring out these new powers, but so far, it's really freaking awesome!" He paused for a second. "...Your Majesty."

"There's no need for the formalities. You just killed a god and took his powers for yourself. Otis. Attilan needs you now more than ever." She said. "Remnants of the Kree and Skrulls are going to make attempts against us. The Kree is trying to make us the slaves they wanted, and there are rumors that the Skrulls have our king. If you really have Darkseid's powers, then we can prove to the universe that Attilan is not going to be pushed around any longer. We are no one's slaves. And we will take our king back."

"Woah woah woah. Your Majesty, I'm all for making sure Attilan is safe from attack and all that jazz, but I'm not going to go to war. I don't want to be Darkseid with a different name. I'm better than he is...Was. I want to help. I really do. This is my home. And I'll help get... I didn't even know Attilan had a king. Anyways, I'll help grab him, but I'm not going to float on a cloud above the Kree and hurl laser blasts at them in fury. I've said it to Gorgon, I've said it to Valka, and I'll say it to you too. I. Am. A. Pacifist. For the most part. I'll fight to protect someone, or myself. Though nowadays, it doesn't seem that there's much that can threaten me. I don't go around throwing my powers around. That makes me no better than Darkseid. I'm not a genocidal tyrant. I'm just a 20 year old man. I'm not even legally old enough to drink booze. But apparently I'm old enough to be one of the most powerful beings in the universe."

Medusa didn't know what to say. Otis could break both empires in half with one hand behind his back. They needed his help. He was the biggest gun Attilan had at the moment. And he wasn't willing to do what needed to be done simply because he believed it would make him comparable to Darkseid. She knew full and well that Otis was a goofball. Not a bad bone in the young man's body. Would give the shirt of his back to anyone who wanted it, but on the other hand, it wasn't like she could make him do it. Otis wasn't on a different level. He was on a different universe compared to even the strongest of Inhumans. "Otis."

"Bolt. I finally got a name. Bolt."

"Bolt." She said. "I understand what you're thinking. But you're not Darkseid. I've seen you and heard everyone you've met talk about you. You're one of the kindest men in Attilan. You're always smiling. You take adversity in stride and never let it stop you. Please. We need your help. You're a god now. I know I can't make you do anything you don't want to. But what means more to you. What you believe, or your family?" She asked and left Otis alone. It didn't feel good to guilt trip someone like him, but Attilan needed the help.

Daud
The Mantle

The once mighty colossus was still strapped with muscle to last, but the era of his mountainous figure were gone, as Daud opted for a more toned and endurance influenced look than the meat head muscular tower of his youth. He was technically old, but still young looking, walking into Daniel's office with just a short smile on his face. "Long time no see." He began, casting a glance behind him as he watched the green skinned woman exit in a huff. "Quite a little firecracker, isn't she?" Daniel returned Daud's glance with a quick smile of his own, then a return to his resting face.

"She may find her way, or find her way back to me. Either way, come in, glad to see you again, old friend." Daniel said genuinely, a small beard beginning to take over his chin. "Have a sea-" He began, but quickly noticed the lack of chairs from Ekgra's visit. "Well, I'm sure we can just stand and chat, no?" He continued, clasping Daud's hand in a firm handshake between the two, noticing his old companion was drawn more toward the items on display than the conversation at hand. Daniel gave a short sigh, Daud taking a short trip through memory lane as a silence came between the two.

"You wore this one..." Daud began, pointing at an older power suit Daniel had worn briefly, "Back in San Francisco. When you fought Dapp after that Golden Gate Bridge fiasco." He said solemnly, an event of the past and one he couldn't change, but one he had come to terms with. "I'm never sure where that bastard is. He's hard to find and hard to love," Daud kept on, "But he was still a friend." The ex-hero and revolutionary continued to look at the displays, noting the shift from the limited power armor to a purely martial arts-based uniform. "And these...Worn during our Civil War." He commented again, his tone rather bleak and sad. Memories from the past aren't always pleasant, and Daud was a man who had to live with both regret and guilt.

"The same one I wore," Daniel interjected quickly, "When we fought Trigon." Just that little bit of hope was enough to draw Daud away from entering another depressive episode, cracking a smile on the man's face. "When we rescued Sora together, and defeated Nekron together." The two nodded with big grins on their faces, thinking of their exploits in a better light than just the bleak memories Daud held on to. Daniel gave a sigh and a nervous chuckle, causing Daud to narrow his eyes slightly at the uniform, turning back to Daniel and imagining him in it once more. Curiousity got the better of him, so Daud asked.

"So, uh, why did you give it up?"

"Hm?" Daniel hummed, raising his chin to hear Daud more clearly, asking for clarification.

"Why did you retire the cape?" Daud asked directly, looking straight at Daniel, and then back to the Sentinel uniform. "The world recognized you as an icon. You were one of the big ones, Daniel, but you just...hung it up. People remember me in a lot of different ways, but you? Even your enemies had respect for you. You're not that old, close to me in age, I suppose, and you have this whole Academy going." Daud said, listing off reasons for Daniel to use, but both of them knowing each wasn't the case. "I gave it up for my family." Daud admitted, looking deeply at Daniel, who briefly met Daud's eyes, looking away slowly.

"I did the same, but through a different way." Daniel finally cracked, rubbing a hand through his hair as he explained the situation to Daud the best that he could. "There is a God in the Galaxy known as Balance. She...makes arrangements for you, grants wishes, but with a cost." He said carefully, Daud following along the best that he could. "I made a deal with her to fix my family. Set everything right. Let Mayla see our son..." He said, almost with a cry, but he held it. "In exchange, I can never be Sentinel again. I found the thing I'm not willing to sacrifice, Daud, and I'll do it for them."

The words hits like a bomb in Daud's stomach, the man instinctively glancing toward the ground as he pried into a discussion he didn't want Daniel going through. "I..." He began, trying to find the words to explain what he felt, "I had no idea..." Was all he could come up with by just looking at Daniel, but glancing back at the uniform of Sentinel, Daud continued. "But, at what cost to the world?" Daud looked at the suit more, not daring to look at the glare of Daniel as Daud inadvertently told Daniel that he traded the world for his family. "Don't get me wrong, I'd do the same if I were in your shoes, but the world lost something very dear to them when Sentinel stopped showing up."

Daniel perked up, willing to hear was Daud needed to say, his eyebrows a bit narrow but interested instead of angry. Daud continued, "Sentinel was a normal man who went into the depths of Hell itself. The perfect example of what man can do without fancy powers or even that much technology. Where man could go and what he could do - There were no limits, and that gave them hope, Daniel." Daud explained, "They knew that even the smallest of actions had the greatest impact whenever they saw you in that mask. They saw themselves. What they could be. They saw..."

"Hope." Daud continued after a slight pause for some unintentional dramatic effect, "And without hope, what do you aim for? What do you look forward to? Everyone has some type of hope or dream that guides them and pushes them forward." He said quietly, so that only he and Daniel could hear, "And you need that, and if you lose that, then you lose a part of yourself." The words both stung and inspired Daniel, who quickly began to pace around the room with his hand on his chin, deep in thought with himself, Daud looking on as he wondered what machinations went on within his friend's mind.

Finally, Daniel answered, "You're right, you're absolute right." He said, almost frantic, walking over to his small bookshelf and sliding random titles off of the shelf, throwing them casually on the floor as he searched for one in particular, finding it after some time, and yanking it hard. "You're so right that it hurts, Daud." Daniel said, the wall opposite of the bookshelf sliding open, removing some drab paintings from view to reveal a never-before seen uniform of Sentinel.

"Daniel, you can't -" Daud began, but was immediately silenced.

"But you can." Daniel said with enthusiasm, walking over to the display and looking up at it like a kid in a candy store, "It's a model I never used after MK1 Armor," Daniel began to explained, "But I always had it ready just in case I needed it again." Daniel looked up and down at Daud's body, finding it more muscular than himself, a bit taller, but of the same relative frame. "Daud, I have the ultimate favor to ask you, one that I can't ask of any other person." Daniel nearly pleaded, getting closer to Daud, "I need you to become the new Sentinel. Be that hope for them, Daud. You're the only one I can trust with this, I'm not just asking you, the world is."

Daud stood there in shock at the offer, completely bewildered and unable to form a response without a few "um"s and "uh"s, but finally managed to get something out. "D-Daniel, you...Really trust me that much? After all I've done before?" Daud asked sincerely, the man never forgiving himself for the pain and grief he's caused in the past, despite the fact that he happened to marry the woman he inadvertently killed, along with her entire race. "I..." He started, but then gripped tight on his fist. "I accept, humbly, too. I will be the hope that the world needs. I won't let you or anyone down." Daud said with confidence, a strong smile forming on Daniel's face. His hands shook slightly, Daud moving closer, the two coming together for a moment to share an embrace - Daniel in debt to Daud for giving him his family and letting Sentinel continue.

"A new chapter's beginning, my friend." Daniel said, moving out of the hug the two shared. "Let's get you suited up."

God Wars Saga
Prelude

When Old Gods die, New Gods rise, but what of the gods left behind? Do those Gods feel fear? If so, what do they do? They go to war.

The Devas sat arranged together in a semi circle, with Vishnu, Shiva, and Brahma forming a trinity in the middle - the Gods of the Indian Subcontinent in congress for days discussing what must be done with the death of Darkseid apparent and the effects of his fallout. Shiva took charge, as destruction seemed to be his forte as a deity. "To preserve our ways and livelihood, we must act against these New Gods before they gain access to the vast amounts of power Darkseid once possessed." He said poetically, "The Omega Effect was contained in a human vessel as well - this means the Fourth World is drawing to an abrupt end and man shall take the reigns as Gods."

Vishnu agreed quickly, "The old order must be preserved, else mankind truly rise above Gods. Where do we factor into all of this?" He said to his brothers and sisters, "We shall preserve our place at the top through any many necessary, and the actions by Xian against our will is a testament to their infidelity with the Dark God's passing." Vishnu continued, casting blame on the Chinese Pantheon of Gods, "They have decided to teach these New Gods and welcome them to our ranks. How utterly foul and misguided they are..." Vishnu said while looking towards his brothers - Shiva and Brahma, for support. With a firm nod each, Vishnu continued. "We shall launch a preemptive strike on Xian before they can mobilize their greater number of gods. Power resides on our side, but they definitely have numbers to aid them."

"Aye, brother," Brahma spoke, "What is an ant hill to an elephant?"

A wicked smirk formed on Vishnu's face. "Our attacks begins at midday. Xian will be moving over the Himalayas and we will strike when they least expect."

"And if interlopers intervene?" A God asked, Indra, one of the most powerful of the Devas and at times considered a fourth-skyfather alongside Vishnu, Shiva, and Brahma.

"Slaughter them as well. Our peaceful ways are long gone, gone with the Human Otis slayed Darkseid. No God is safe, so we must be careful to assure our own position is not compromised." Vishnu answered, the congress finally reaching it's apex and conclusion all at once. "No mortal shall rule over us, we are the proud Devas and it shall remain that way. Xian will not see the light nor understand reason, so they must be dealt with before they can aid mankind."

Katie grabbed the shotgun and turned it over in her hands. She had never actually fired one of these before. Though she had trained a bit with guns just in case, she had never so much as touched a proper shotgun so far. She was surprised by the lightness of the gun. She thought it would be heavier... it was magical, but guns were always said to carry a certain weight to them. She shrugged it off internally as she admired the crafting of the weapon, inspecting it from all sides. She then smiled at Valka. "This... is amazing. Again. You surprised me twice in a pretty short time. I feel like I owe you even though I this was a gift for helping defend Asgard... wow..." She remarked. Then by thinking, she changed it back into a hammer, feeling the weapon in her hands. "Thank you all mother Valka. If you ever need anything again, you may call us again." Remarked the Mutant, "Speaking of us... I need to find Cora..."

Zaki, the slime, seemed to squelch her way near Valka. She smiled slightly. Her translucent features still making the smile evident. Also in the forge area was Erza, though she was mostly there out of curiosity.

Explosions? Hannah thought, and then she saw Roy in pain. She frowned. She really didn't like that for some reason. She really didn't like that.

How about if I turn their fire Against them Suddenly Hannah doubled over, then her skin swiftly turned blue, before she suddenly increased rapidly in height as she stood, armoured scales wrapped around her in places, and her eyes turned yellow, like those of a cat. A final touch of two wings sprouted from her back. And her dragon form was complete. Her dragon form. Despite the seeming humanity of this form comapred to her werewolf one, it could be equally hard to control, with... explosive results.

She turned to the running men, her wings flapping as she followed the men. Suddenly descending upon them like a winged Avatar of fiery death. "Em nrub ot deirt ooy" She spoke, her words seemingly backwards. Another strange part of the form. It sounded like gibberish to anyone not of Grimm blood. She grabbed two of the red hoods, lifting them up so they couldn't touch the ground. It was taking considerable self control not to burn anything.

"An Oversized Monkey with apparent super intelligence.." Vera Corrects, taking off her helmet and taking in a breath of fresh air.
After stepping through the door she stopped and turned to Xyri. "No, you're not stupid" She states, shaking her head dismissively. She barely noticed Xyri didn't help with the paperwork. It was almost second nature to her, she did most of it theough memory of having done paperwork like it before at the lab. That was apperently one peice of training that stuck. " Don't feel bad about the paperwork, theirs was a mess anyways."

Asgard
While Katie was at the forge with Valka, Cora had stayed at the feast and had started to get to know Darian and Serene. Serene was quite nice and friendly, and even though Darian didn't speak very much, he seemed nice too. Serene and Darian talked to Cora about their powers, but they were quite evasive about where their abilities had come from. Cora was very curious as to why, but she decided not to press them on it.

Still, their conversation was quite fun and as they ate they shared stories and even a few laughs. Cora quite liked the two siblings, and knew that she'd have to leave with Katie soon but hoped that they would see each other again.

Disney World
Roy was shocked when suddenly Hannah began to transform, slowing taking the shape of some kind of humanoid dragon. Relief immediately filled his mind. She had powers too, which meant he wasn't alone, and she wouldn't be freaked out by his own abilities.

He watched as she grabbed the two men in hoodies and started speaking in some language that he couldn't understand. Sam could understand it however, and watched as she suspended the two men in the air. Sam was glad to see that Hannah was still in control of herself and she stepped toward the two men to question them.

"Who put you up to this?" She demanded, figuring that they weren't just acting on their own. "Tell me, or you'll be my sister's next meal." She threatened, even though she knew they would never kill them. Still, the thugs didn't know that so it was good threat.

The one of them looked quite scared, the other defiant. The defiant glared at Sam and spoke, "You can't intimidate us. We're done just following the script. Anarky will..."

He was cut off by a booming voice that had apparently come on to all of the TV monitors and voice boxes in the park. Sam looked over at one of the nearby TV monitors to see what was going on. She saw a young man wearing a white mask and a red hoodie similar to the one the thugs were wearing. There was a symbol painted on his chest. It was like an A surrounded by a red circle. The man was looking into the camera and began to speak.

"Hello uninformed citizens. I am Anarky, the voice of the people. This 'amusement park' is the heart of American consumerism and greed. This place is the symbol of corporate lies and propoganda, built off of suffering and the labor of the people, yet you people continue to shop and spend in ignorance. Well it's time you got a wake up call. This park now belongs to the people, not the corporations. Anyone who doesn't like it should leave , but don't try to stop us. I have insurance to make sure people behave. I have placed bombs throughout this park. If I see any police or military, then this place goes boom. This is the beginning of a new coporation free America! Have fun, and enjoy a taste of what's to come! Anarky out."

Then the broadcast cut out and the screens all froze, with the symbol of Anarky plastered all over them.

John looked around, frowning. "We can't take the chance that he might be telling the truth. We have to find those bombs." John said seriously, his mind going into hero mode now.

Genesis vs Vega Part I: The Beginning

Daniel sat down on his couch, watching the news. He was eating a bowl of chips and drinking water. After that, he planned on working out. He listened to the news caster say "A strange event has happened on the dwarf-planet Eris. It seems as if fire is being produced there, even though there is next to no atmosphere on the planet. Some speculate that it is aliens, while others say it is just a superhuman or mutant out there. We will have to wait and see what this strange force is". Daniel had always been a curious being, and said "I should go check that out. It's be nice to get out of the house every once and a while. I've got nothing else to do today, anyways". He put on his suit and took off into space. He soared past the planets, seeing the beauty of places like Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and so much more. Genesis stopped on Saturn's ring and looked into space. "Wow, this is so beautiful. I was always amazed by space. It's so intricate, and so amazing". Vega could slightly sense some power, but it was very far away, meaning that it must be very powerful. He could sense how evil it was as well. "I don't like the feeling of this. I should proceed with caution".

When he got around Pluto, he thought "I can sense an extremely high power level here. I must be close to whatever that is. They said the force was coming from Eris, right? Yea, that's what it was". Genesis proceeded with caution, trying to stay as quiet as possible. He stealthily landed on the surface of the planet to find a man making fire and summoning clones. Genesis thought he was quiet enough, but the man turned around, and they gave each other strange looks for a few seconds, not knowing who the other was.

"Hey, what's up? My name is Genesis. What's yours?" Genesis knew that this was the man that he could sense on Saturn's Ring, and he knew this man was evil. He was going to try and stay calm. The man turned around, with a menacing look on his face, and said "My name is Vega. I have been here for years, waiting for someone. I can tell you are very powerful, Daniel. Very powerful". Genesis stared at him with awe "How did he know my name. I never told him". Vega looked at him, and said "You have come to my lands, and I have been looking for a challenger like you. I left Earth years ago due to an...incident, and I have awaited someone like you. Today, you will face your demise. Feel the wrath of Vega!"

Glacia:

Hiroshi:

Defending Tomia is a weakness? I ascended while protecting her, I've never felt more powerful then when I was fighting for her or defending her.

"No." Hiroshi answered finally, before slowly unfolding his arms. " I won't become your puppet so I can attain a power I am mere steps from achieving. Now leave." He remarked calmly, teal eyes boring into the blue skinned demons. " Before I demonstrate how powerful my child makes me."

The entire time he spoke, the friendly smile on the females face simply eroded. Her features morphed into a furious snarl, her nose flaring as she eyed her large bodyguard with a hard sneer. Shifting his stance, Hiroshi prepared for a scuffle as she sized him up, clearly deciding if she wanted her pet to come at him.

It was obvious the brute thought himself a match for him, their eyes locking silently as they sized up their respective opponents. Hellish energy rolled off the Demon in waves, harsh winds whipping up around them. Before either could engage, the blue skinned bitch lost her nerve, placing a small hand on Mira's chest.

" Very well." Towa spoke harshly. " You won't be acquiring the power you so desperately crave from me."

The Ascended Saiyan couldn't help the chuckle that burst from his chest, a loud confident laugh, something he hadn't been able to do in awhile with all the enemies he'd faced. Was he concerned at the power Supreme Kai claimed Dabura had? Yes, but he wasn't concerned about some blue skinned witch who offered power she couldn't deliver on. As far as he was concerned, after he ascended and defeated Dabura, he'd be returning home to his daughter and Claudia, hopefully to fix things.

" I don't need your help." The Hybrid laughed. " I'm more than capable of ascending on my own."

" No Saiyan." Towa barked. " You'll be on your knees like every other time. Dabura is working with your uncle. He knows all your techniques and everything you fear. I've seen it in hundreds of timelines. Only Saiyans woudo think themselves so mighty as to believe they could ascend to the power of gods. My only regret is that you've damned everyone around you to a bloody death."

How have I damned anyone?

Before he could spit another stream of insults back at Towa, the brute disappeared in a blur of red. By the time he realized he'd disappeared, he felt the fist.

One eye swelled with fluid as the blood in his head shifted to one side. The immediate sensation of his teeth cracking filled his mind, blood spattering against the inside of his cheek and out the side of his open mouth. The sheer power form the blow sent his body rolling backwards without any control, the ground beneath him caving and burying him beneath tons of rock and dirt. Coughing and gagging, Hiroshi desperately clawed at the surface as more and more rubble buried him.

Genesis vs Vega Part II: The Confrontation

"Woah, woah, that's not what I came here for. I just wanted to a..." Genesis knew there was no compromising with Vega, as he tried to attack him with an extremely fast charge. Vega said "Oh, come on. Don't be a weakling like how those other Earthlings are, mutant. I know what you are capable of". Genesis was just thinking "How does he know I'm a mutant? He seems to know everything about me". Genesis said "Alright, Vega. If it's a fight you want, it is a fight you'll get!"

Genesis shot large optic beams, which Vega easily dodged by teleporting each time a separate beam was shot. Vega appeared behind Genesis and said "Goodnight". He put his cold hands on Genesis' neck, but unlike the first time Vega did this, Genesis flip-kicked him in the face and retreated to another side of the fighting area. "Good job, Daniel. Snapping the neck usually works against my other opponents. But you're special, aren't you". Vega summoned hellfire from the ground, and it came close to hitting Genesis. "That fire isn't normal. It's like a blood red color. But...how? There is no atmosphere, and fire can't be produce without gases. It's some type of supernatural fire. Like fires from hell. Wait, is this...it is" Genesis knew who this was. It was Vega the Demon. The same one that killed those two people on national news. Genesis said to the demon "I know who you are, you demon. I will avenge all those you've killed, and finish you once and for all". Vega simply laughed and said "I thought you were smart, Daniel. You can't defeat me. You will try, but your just a weak Earthling. You can't..." Genesis punched Vega in the face very hard, and Vega said "Good shot, mutant. I would've expected less of you". To Vega's amazement, Genesis was able to hold his own against most of his attacks, but Vega had many tricks up his sleeve.

"You are really a worthy challenger, Genesis. I may not win this one". Vega spoke in a very sarcastic manner, and Genesis came charging towards him. Vega kicked him right in the stomach, which gave Genesis a cut right in the stomach. Vega then tried to cover him in fire, but Genesis made a forcefield just in time. The forcefield gave Genesis enough time to get out of the situation, and he shot a huge beam of energy at Vega. At the same time, Vega shot a huge column of hellfire from his hands, which collided with the energy beam.

The two forces kept budging back and forth, as both fighters put in all of their energy into their attack. "You weak, pathetic fool. I will end you right now. Prepare to meet your demise, Daniel". Vega was able to draw more fire, and he let out a huge, terrifying yell. The column of fire went and broke through the energy beam, and when it hit Genesis, he flew away, and landed on the surface, unconscious. "Pathetic" Vega said "I could've beat him in my sleep". Vega went walking towards the unconscious body of Genesis to finish him off.

Lord Arctico/Cosmic Emperor of The Reformed Planet Trade Organization

Arctico sat atop the throne that once belonged to the long deceased King Cold, who had fused with his father years before, the relatively young Arcosian had his fingers intertwined between each other, he was thinking what else should be done for his new empire, he was both the Cosmic Emperor of the PTO and his other Arcosians, and was the Supreme Commander of the PTO and the Arcosian Defense Force, unlike the Monarch's that existed before him, there would be no oppression of the people, it would be a fully functional democracy that the newly formed Arcosian Council would lead, but the A.C would not be able to interfere in the operations of the PTO, Arctico took a pledge that he would not utilize his control of the PTO to take control, if he was to violate this, he would be dismissed from his position as Emperor of the Arcosian Empire, that was something he sought to avoid at all costs. Arctico was deep within his thoughts, his first Executive Action assured a Mutual Defense and Trade Alliance with the Masaki Dynasty, but there was still much work to be done as many of the planets that remained within the PTO were suspicious of his motives, which of course he did not blame them for his people had devastated planet after planet in the conquest that had been sparked by Frieza's ambitions "I don't blame those planets for being suspicious, they reserve the right to be paranoid about the actions of our people, we've been labeled as a Genocidal people that would kill just because our orders were not followed."

Arctico rose up from out of his throne and began walking down the large numbers of steps that connected his throne to the ground "I remember that young female Arcosian who was my closest friend before I joined the Planet Trade Organization... Glacia." Arctico let in a small amount of cold air that surrounded his being, he felt different every time he thought of Glacia, they had a short lasting friendship between one another before he left to serve as a member of Frieza's Elite, but he sought something closer than a friendship with Glacia, it was the first time he felt such strong feelings for a fellow Arcosian "I don't know where she is now, but I just wish that she could be here to see such a developmental time in our Race's image..." Arctico stated with a sigh as he walked towards the grand double doors that stood approximately Four Arcosian Warriors that were tasked with Arctico's daily protection, one of the members of this new organization was Lieutenant Xero, one of Arctico's closest friends and his former Second-In-Command. As he pressed his hand against the door, he pushed it open with ease and brushed past his four warriors, who instantly followed from behind as he took to the skies at fast speeds, the royal robes that adored his form flowing alongside the wind "Even though Arcos may be one of the most barren planets, there is no doubt in my mind that the snow-capped mountains and the white badlands of Arcos stands out as the most beautiful planet in our system." Arctico openly stated with a small smile on his face, his speed rapidly decelerating as he approached the Cold Clan's Sacred Ceremonial Ground that his father had shown him so long ago, he intended on meditating in it's silent Ceremonial Ground that only members of the Cold Clan inhabited, as it was the best place for him to clear his mind.

Genesis vs Vega Part III: Rise of Genesis

When Vega got close to Genesis, he heard a moaning noise. Genesis slowly stood back up, and got back into his fighting position. He kicked Vega away towards the other side of the fighting area. "But...that's...that's impossible. How are you not dead?" Vega knew that this fight was gonna be harder than he thought, and so he decided to stop bragging. Vega did, however, decide to step up his game. "It seems as though I have not been able to kill you as easily as I thought. No worries. I'll just have to draw more energy from the fires of Hell. Vega began to encapsulate himself in a ball of fire, which he released shards of out towards Genesis. Vega's eyes glowed a fiery red and so did the pentagram on his chest.

He had lost his cape and armor, and instead had on combat pants and boots. "There is no way you can match my level now, Genesis. I have gained energy from Hell to become a new form more powerful than the last. This will be over quickly". Vega charged at lightning speed, and hit Genesis right on the face, leaving a scar on his left eye. "You bastard! I will defeat you, and this whole universe will become a much safer place". Genesis yelled. He had gotten back up and shot an array of beams at Vega, but he simply deflected them as if they were flies.

"You can't defeat me, Genesis. No one can"

But while Vega was saying this, Genesis flew right into him, causing a punch that literally exploded in Vega's face. He got back up and did something very similar to Genesis. They both started hitting and blocking each other's punches, much like before the transformation.

"This is impossible. Genesis is still strong enough to keep up with my pace. I will have to think of a way to become even more powerful. But how? Think Vega, think". The two kept going through the same motions, until Genesis was able to flip-kick Vega right in his head, sending him flying into the ground. Dammit. I put down my guard for one second, and he already is able to hit me hard. I've gotta find a way to get some more power, fast". They kept going at it for hours, until Vega retreated into a ball of fire.

God of the Fragmented - Chapter One: Empty

I feel... Invigorated.

Far out in the black expanse of space, there is nothing and there is everything. There is potential for the creation of all things, and there is potential for the destruction of all things. It is the very fabric from which planets, Stars, Galaxies, and everything in between are born. It is simultaneously the apex of alignment and the pinnacle of chaos, unaffected by and uncaring for the machinations of Man and God that exist in the Universe. Most importantly, despite this paradox of existence and oxymoronic nature, nothing pays it any mind. A hundred thousand Gods rise and a hundred thousand Gods fall without any turning its eye towards the emptiness. The armies of mortals and the might of extradimensional entities alike tread not its ancient paths, for there is nobody to govern, nor any to conquer.

Where better, then, for the God of the Fragmented to find itself than in the Emptiness?

The man named Charles Crawler knew better than anyone what it was like for a Man to be elevated to a God. The Manifest Blade had done this for him- One moment, he was a simple mortal (perhaps with a bit of extra kick), and the next he was back to back with Valka of the Asgardians, among the mightiest of beings in the Universe. It is not an experience that leaves one unchanged, nor is it one that can be taken in stride. Many a night, Charles Crawler resigned to his bedroom alone at night to simply marvel and wonder at the bizarre coincidences that had led him to this wonderful life. In some ways, Crawler was a harbinger of the times to come: The First of the Age of Man, a God of War born for a time where the likes of Ares and Tyr could naught but bow at the sheer might of their foes.

So it was that when the Age of Man dawned on an unready Universe, Manifest, God of War, was torn between two powers. In one hand, the Manifest Blade bestowed upon him the power of War. In the other, the black gift of Darkseid's death elevated him to the power of the Broken. War in one hand, the Broken in the other, and to the benefit of Charles, they did not destroy each other- Nay, they intermingled, becoming something new, something unprecedented. The Fragmented is a Mortal God of two origins- One, Universal. The other, Omniversal. Who is to say the upward limits of his power, should he build upon this mighty baseline? Who could defeat the Fragmented, should his True power be realized? Who, indeed could imagine themselves powerful enough to defeat this amalgam of Godhoods (both made stronger by their connection to each other) even now?

Too many. Manifest scowled to himself, his eyes closed as he meditated in the deep expanse of space, where he had teleported himself after gaining true Godhood. The power of Darkseid may be spread thin, but I can still sense the fragments of his strength spread throughout the Universe. Its recipients will be mighty. Not to mention the World Dragons, or Xander's people, or Valka herself. Any of them could go rogue at any given time, and who could stop them?

He opened his eyes, and deep in the Emptiness, pure white light that was somehow tinged with blackness filled as far as most eyes could see. There needs to be a line. It's time I created one.

It is no small thing for an entire Galaxy to appear out of nowhere. The Manifest Blade, augmented by the power of the God of the Fragmented and with a significant portion of its inherent power unknowingly unlocked by the birth of the God, was far more mighty than before, and Manifest wielded it expertly, crafting his masterpiece carefully. When those around the Universe inevitably looked upon his (admittedly exceptionally small by Galactic standards) creation, they would find a mechanical marvel of awesome proportions- A (small) Galaxy sized installation, with corridors the size of warships and rooms the size of solar systems, occupied by vast networks of robotics and wiring that all lead through a labyrinth of tunnels and paths to the central node, where Manifest resided.

I need only wait, I would imagine. The God of the Fragmented thought to himself. They will come to me.

Genesis vs Vega Part IV: The Final Moments

Genesis charged towards the ball of fire that Vega was in, and when he punched it, the fire shattered like glass, exposing Vega. He rolled away from Genesis' punch towards him and he shot a ball of fire at him. Vega then went back into his ball form, but this time the ball grew and grew, until it seemed the ball was about five times as big as the planet. When Vega came out, he was a huge, red demon, shooting flames everywhere. He had an aura of fire surrounding him, and he encapsulated the whole planet with flames, basically destroying it. Genesis thought to himself "Vega will be able to easily kill me if I am reckless. I must be cautious and think before I do".Genesis flew to the next space body he saw, which looked like a moon. He landed there and dodged Vega's attacks for a while. He flew up and hit him right in the stomach, but it did nothing. Vega just grabbed him and was about to crush him to death, but Genesis was able to shoot Vega's hand and wriggle out.

Genesis looked at the monster that was Vega. "How will I defeat Vega. He is much stronger and more durable than I am. But he isn't as fast as I am. Now I have a plan". Genesis used all of his energy to fly towards Vega at incredible speeds, making a hole in Vega's chest. He let out a huge growl, and tried to catch Genesis, but he wasn't able to come close. Genesis was behind his neck when he stuck a huge spear made of energy through his throat. Vega fell down on the ground, before trying getting up, but falling again.

Genesis walked up towards Vega, who was back into his normal form, saying "I have finished you, Vega. You were cocky and arrogant, and that was your demise. I hope you can learn from this, and I hope God has mercy on your soul". As Genesis was walking away, Vega called out and said "Come back. I need to tell you something. Something very important".
