SEATO was not anti-communist. It was anti-Comintern. We have no qualms with communists, or else we'd not admit Vietnam and Laos. Moreover, we dislike communists in general (but don't hate them so much as to be anti-communist), due to their disregard of human rights and democracy, which we hold to be vital.

Hmm.... it depends....

Feyrisshire is different. Feyrisshire is Feyrisshire. So things that Feyrisshire does I might not advocate for countries in real life. But nonetheless I would not really write anything that I would be revolted with or disapprove too much in real life that Feyrisshire would do. So perhaps it does reflect a lot of my own IRL views to some extent.

One thing for me is that Feyrisshire is I see as an ideal one - where things can be done without worrying with a lot of things too much. So of course RL application would differ sometimes than what'd happen in Feyrisshire. This question a bit broad btw

Green is for hope; five points on the star represent each continent of the five continent model;the white symbolizes peace, and the star on it shows that this is the greatest hope. The top right flag is the peace flag, followed by the feminist flag (representing equality), and the communist flag. The hammer and sickle in the star have the usual meaning, but remain white to show that it is only desired if peaceful.

Where did you get Inspiration for the name and the flag?

flag: the capital is located right in front of the rogue's crown, the four highest peaks in murazgora and the carbon rim. The four surrounding triangles represent those mountains, with the capital, rabohitro, being the four pointed star in the middle. The four paths represent the crossing of paths in creating the nation.

Murazgora is a combination of worde meaning "the working man's mountain", in reference to the workers rights of the nation, and the montaine landscape of the country.

Correct. Essentially it's because I find it a helpful crutch on the way to creating your own thing to sample from a number of extant cultures within the niche you'd like to go for stylistically, as that way you don't follow one set of ideas too closely in the early stages- hence why the Ghesites have, among other things, a deep aversion to the idea of cannibalism and a belief that it represents a spiritual corruption.

1) nah, it is inspired to be Czech-ish as I made this nation the Das after I came back to Czechia, and I love that country because of personal reasons.
2) honestly I love making useless stuff like False license plates, makes a modern country feel realistic. Hope one day to make a replica of my license plates as a real license plate somehow.
3) name comes from Facepunch. One day I mistook my name for the function of marking as Unread, and given i am named Mark, I decided to adopt the name as my art name/nickname.

1. It's because of my obsessions with Valkyries, and Sprak is from Norwegian's "Språk".
2. Never heard of it, sorry.
3. It's a combination of Powerpoint and Photoshop. You will be amazed at how things look by semi-transparent panels. Also this.

No worries.

Do I, as a person, want low levels of political and civil freedoms in real life? No. Do I, as a player, want Liagolas's stats to represent my vision for the nation's narrative? Yes, it would be nice. But I realize that NationStates isn't really designed to represent a place like Liagolas, which in-character is shatteringly repressive.
