What rules apply to watercraft?

the basic rule of courtesy applies. universal consideration for all things, and of course mutual for each other.
we have no ocean beaches being completely landlocked, thus the emphasis on land based transportation.

As a result, one can actually acquire older Zhouranese armored vehicles such as a Type 63 armored scout car, Type 84 armored personnel carrier, Type 65 infantry fighting vehicle and Type 67 main battle tank, albeit at a very-high price. In many towns and cities across Zhouran, it is very common to see privately-owned surplus armored vehicles being driven during local festival parades, with many of these privately-owned armored vehicles being personally-owned by retired military veterans.

In some Lakan police departments you can find vehicles as old as 130 years! The most interesting fact is that some of these vehicles are not just kept in running order, but actually used in patrols and anti-riot trainings!

The oldest Lakan active police vehicle is and old imported British Mark-V tank. This vehicle had seen the fronts of the First World War and had survived the battles of Hamel, Amiens and met the end of the war near the Hindenburg line. The then decommissioned vehicle was supposed to be scrapped, but instead was bough by the Lakan Government whose soldiers seen what this monstrous machine was capable of and wished to include it as a part of their armed forces. This Mark V, along with 20 other Mark V’s, mostly males NS several Whippets first saw combat in Lakan hands during the suppression of 1921 Scottish Hunger Rebellion, during which it was pictured here, making the way for Her Majesty’s troops into a bar where the rebels barricaded themselves.


After serving there, the tank and its crew received quite a lot of public attention for their gallantry and bravery and were awarded a special name for the tank- it was nicknamed “The Party Breaker”. Although it was retired from the regular army in 1929, with the arrival of more advanced home-produced vehicles, this wasn’t the end of the story for “The Party Breaker” as it was transferred to the National Guard, who used it for training and later, for propaganda purposes due to the vehicle’s impressive size and looks.

It served with the Guard until 1945, before, due to purely bureaucratic error it was attached to an active regiment and sent to the war in the Europe. Before anyone had any understanding of what’s happened, the vehicle had already arrived into a joint British-Lakan unit, much to the surprise of both Lakan and British soldiers. Before the orders to return the vehicle came in, “The Party Breaker” had actually already saw frontline combat AGAIN, this time even meeting actual tanks in combat. Luckily for it and it’s poor crew, the tank in question was a Pz-V Panther that ran out of ammunition. It’s crew, instead of abandoning the vehicle, fought to the last machine gun round. A few direct with from Party Breaker’s HE shells quickly took the machine guns out of actions, leading the desperate crew to their final option: to detonate the Panther, which they did by exploding the fuel tanks with grenades.

For this engagement, the crew of the “Old Reliable” were awarded medals, and allowed to participate in the military parade in Berlin, alongside with other Allied forces. The tank than stayed in Berlin for a while, becoming one of the many tourist attractions for the victorious soldiers, before it was returned to Laka Strolistandiler, where it was again used for training purposes.

It was retired from the National Guard in 1951, and bought out by the Utadeh Police Department, who were looking for a, intimidating-looking tracked vehicle that could be used in anti-riot operations. Mk-V was rearmed and modernized again. This time her sponson-mounted 6-pounders were replaced with far more advanced recoilless rifles, capable of firing HE, flechette and flash-bang rounds. Her forward-facing machine gun was replaced with a water cannon, with water supply being partially stored inside the vehicle and partially in towed tank trailer. Her engine and its configuration were once again redesigned, this time to increase the crew’s comfort. Finally, a siren and several spotlights were installed on its roof.

This vehicle was actively used to suppress post-war student revolts and was even “leased” to Japan, where it stormed Narita Airport protester’s barricades with ease. The “Old reliable” was simply refusing to die! In late 1970s-early 1980s, the vehicle was upgraded again, this time with the installation of a new and improved transmission, new controls and improvements to vehicle overall performance. By this time, the “Party Breaker” had already became almost a symbol of radical law enforcement, and was even featured in some media, namely- US Adult animation “Fritz the Cat”, the movie “Tank”, where it faced off against an M4 Sherman, and, finally some Japanese animation. This vehicle was one of the vehicles meeting President Reagan during his visit to Laka Strolistandiler, and was used as a platform for the orhestra.

The world-famous tank was further upgraded in 2000s and 2010s, with completely reworked engine and transmission, digitalization of some of the tank’s systems, new weapons and equipment for the crew, etc.

When the vehicle turned 100 years in 2018, a special celebration was held- the vehicle, repainted in its original British colors paraded through the streets of the Utadeh, followed by its far more modern “descendants”. Comically enough, during the parade it rammed the same bar as in 1921, which for God knows what reason was actually requested by the Scottish community.

After the jubilee, there was a lot of talk about returning the vehicle to Britain, or at very least retiring it from active police service, however this went nowhere. In 2030, with the end of the Third Island War and the beginning of the Intelligent Circle’s police state rule, “The Party Breaker” had seen even more anti-riot usage than back in the “good old days”. When the police turned their back on the authoritarian government and supported the return of the royalist, the tank was actively used to, this time, support the royalist forces.

Now, with Queen Lavinia Mac Gofraid’s even and not-so-hard-hand rule, the vehicle is usually simply awaiting it’s tasks alongside other specialized anti-riot units. However, shall duty call, the 130-years-old machine will be ready to sprung up and return to action.

Various Zhouranese private military companies are known to operate surplus Zhouranese combat aircraft and utilize them for a variety of different roles ranging from aggressors training to actual combat duties for foreign clients. Considering that all private contractors working in Zhouran's various PMCs are highly-experienced battle-hardened military veterans from the Zhouranese People's Army, retired fighter pilots from the ZPA Air Force and ZPA Naval Aviation are employed in flying PMC-owned combat aircraft. Zhouranese mercenaries in general are known to be quite particularly expensive to hire given their highly-impressive skills and sophisticated equipment, and Zhouranese mercenary pilots are no different especially those who are flying aces.

Zhouranese mercenary pilots are hired by numerous foreign clients worldwide and are serving in various international conflicts. For example, in various African nations, Zhouranese mercenary pilots are involved in close-air support duties for their client's military. Meanwhile, in the Middle East, various wealthy gulf states hire Zhouranese mercenary pilots in order to act as instructors and military advisers for their respective air forces. There are also different reports of Zhouranese mercenary pilots participating in foreign civil wars and battling one another for their clients' respective factions.

Considering the irregular nature of PMCs, Zhouranese merc-flown combat aircraft have been involved in various international incidents. For example, around June 2 of 2017, above the Persian Gulf, a pair of US Navy F/A-18F Super Hornets were chased by a pair of Jian-20-4-0 fighter jets from Hasuluo–Tanrong Rapid Security Solutions and a mock dogfight broke out. Due to the superior performance of the Zhouranese fighter jets and the unrivalled skills of the Zhouranese pilots, the two Super Hornets were forced to retreat amid constant missile lock. At one point, one of the Zhouranese pilots did an aileron roll on one of the retreating Super Hornets and gave the American naval aviators the middle finger. Zhouran's Ministry of Defense punished Hasuluo–Tanrong Rapid Security Solutions with a large fine of unknown amount. Another example would be the incident of October 25, 1992, above the Laos–Myanmar border, when three Jian-14 fighter jets from Wandou–Halun Tactical Response Inc. conducted close-air support for the Myanmar military against the Shan State Army. During the operation, one of the fighter jets dropped two laser-guided 115 kg bombs onto a nearby Lao village along the border area, killing seven Lao villagers. The other Zhouranese fighter then performed a high-speed low-altitude fly-by above the village at full-afterburner, the shockwave caused further damage and added further injuries. The Lao government filed a complaint against the Myanmar government, while Wandou–Halun on the other hand apologized to the Lao government but did not provide compensation to the family of the victims.
