Hey, I'm New York - New Jersey and in RL I live in NJ, am a 23 year old college graduate working full time as a transit worker and part time as an EMT while I try to get a career in corrections or nursing. Also I'm male, straight (but pro GLTB), agnostic, a liberal social democrat, a volunteer firefighter/EMT and an urban suburbanite. I used to play NS back in the day in high school senior year 05 until college in like mid/late 06 and now I'm back with a new country.

and still with PM/Huw, living together, for those of you who knew me before and wondered how the NS couple of 05/06 were doing!

I can think of six offhand (confirmed or at least strongly hinted at), plus two or three from other areas of the forum, and I more or less entirely avoid the majority of the social forums where such relationships tend to form anyway.

I'm not sure how remarkable an achievement that is, though. Throw a dozen randomly selected teenagers together for a few weeks and you'll wind up with a truly byzantine network of relationships by the end. By comparison, NSers, coming together on a board where common interests are shared and it's quite easy to talk to people, are definitely slacking. :P

... Truth be told, romance on NSG is probably preferable to unusually violent debates sparked by unresolved sexual tension. Yeah, so arguably that's just normal tension, but imagine how satisfying it would be to see longtime sparring partners, like say Melkor and Muravyets, to admit that all their fiery arguments and bickering were caused by true love's passion!

Okay, fine... *goes back to staring pensively at unfinished NSG fanfiction, and mopping up the rest of the blood*
