Okay, maybe I’m not making myself clear:
Some of the sultans did in fact have homosexual sex. Meanwhile... others did not.

Technically they were Caliphs and a lot of them did it, not just some. A number of non-Ottoman caliphs were in fact gay. I think it was Al-Hakam II who forced his wives to dress like men so that he could even stomach sleeping with them.

Oh and it wasn't just the leaders either, society as a whole was doing it. In Afghanistan up until recently it was common for Pashtun tribes to raid Hazara communities and take their sons as sex slaves.

Okay, I phrased that wrong: vast majority wouldn’t actually force a girl to have intercourse with them, but a lot of them genuinely would do anything not illegal to get one to. Decent amount would use coercion inching towards force.
