You raise a valid point but I don't think the theotokos has ever worn a pantsuit, so I am not swayed.

But she is the most virtuous human being.

It's why all other women pale in comparison as she is perfect, fortunately they can resemble her through virtue and deeds. To tell you the truth, it's why I love her.

Sure but that doesn't mean she's beautiful. I know plenty of beautiful women that aren't virtuous by the most reductive definition of the word but they're still beautiful.

For a woman to be beautiful she must be virtuous.

out of curiosity, i searched through pages 418-428 (10 pages, so 200 posts) to find what one could consider good faith political effortposts. here are the ones i found (more could be included that i didn't; it's definitely a subjective judgment. inclusion does not necessarily mean that i agree with the contents of the post.):

they total at 29, or 14.5% of the total, which means my estimate was nearly spot-on.

willing to do more in-depth statistical analysis of this if anyone is interested -- that way we can identify who here is an effortposter or shitposter!

Because then they can REALLY live out the punishment, because you can't punish someone for being better than you and they don't want to punish themselves for being better. They find the mirror of their own perceived inadequacies. Lots of Nazis were homosexuals, in the Waffen-SS there were even lots of crossdressers. We might even connect a fascist obsession with cleanliness and order with a Freudian anality. They are anally retentive in terms of racial hygiene and anally expulsive in terms of their idea of public politics.

The rest of fascist politics are just things that will help them stay in power. There's not much true ideology there. They co-opt whatever they need to ensure they win and they can carry out their program.

I hate fascism. On so many levels. For so many different reasons. We should squash them wherever and whenever they appear, forcefully.

Zizek basically had a similar albeit more, well, politically correct critique of fascism - basically that in order to properly form a class collaborationist state, you must assign all collective blame to a specific group, whether it be racial, ethnic, etc.

what, for all of their posts or for their posts in the sample i outlined? both of those probably wouldn't do much -- if the former, i have no way of realistically accessing that information (beyond API calls that i don't know how to use and would take forever) and if the latter, i think there are some regulars who did not post in the period selected and i therefore can't get useful data on them

Nixon.

Not exactly the same circumstances, but it's similar.

He was VP to Ike, lost the 1960 presidential election to JFK, came back eight years later and won by a landslide.

I saw her once at a Barnes & Noble and I was too afraid to approach, but I reckon she was Filipina. I never saw her again, but it left an impression.

Wordiness does not make differentiate a shitposter from an effortposter, instead it would be the quality of the ideals conveyed and how well-argued. I could, for instance, say nothing in 1000 words in one post and yet make a compelling case with one to three sentences in another.

It's part of the reason why minimum word requirements for school are bullshit, the number of words does not correlate to the strength of the argument being made or help your case in any tangible way. Indeed, in most cases brevity and conciseness should be striven for and not shunned.

Speculation.

The Bible says nothing of her age at his birth.

That is a good counterexample, actually.

Barnes & Noble of course being the slave traders, not the bookstore.
