You're only miserable because you choose to be, and you teachers usually aren't that poor. When I interned with Ohio's AOS Performance Audit, I usually found that teachers were making substantially more than the community average before benefits (usually about 25%).
And Ohio's school funding situation is totally jacked. The Supreme Court has found it to be unconstitutional at least four times.

Awe you know why? Because schools are prisons and teachers feel the effects of it too. No human should have to be treated like the US school system tends to treat most children and teachers.
There are schools that are the exception but most are just very unhappy places to be.

You clearly do. You and all your atheist friends sit around and bitch about how bad the world is because of Christianity all the time.

I am glad I go to a public school where Religion is a no-no to teach. Because if I was in a Religion class, there would be daily arguments.

Well, that was just a pointless argument. That would be like me insisting o my teacher the moon doesn't have a face: DOES IT REALLY MATTER?

While the various incidents are too numerous to list, I could make my high school history teacher visibly flinch by raising my hand. I did kind of feel sorry for the guy since the class was full of idiots who had had trouble reading the textbook, much less listening to anything that wasn't about sports, but hopefully I helped his next class out a bit. Various examples include spelling Afghanistan with a 'ph', the airplane being invented in 1914, and the locomotive being invented in the US.

His teaching style was kinda like this: "I don't want to tell you how to think, but this is right."
I wouldn't have been impressed with your debate skills if I was your teacher, either.

Yup, my school was DESIGNED by a prison architect, so that's probably true. The culture here is mostly about the whole gangsta BS. Kids are dealing dime bags and they think they need a gun. They have a soupped-up compact and they think they're street racers. They're douches, so they think the school has a "hierarchy" like it's freakin' Clueless or something. They're horny, so they think they should flash everyone in the hallways. And they're bored, so they think they should write a note saying they're gonna shoot up the school. I tell ya, there's something wrong with my generation, O_O
