The supreme court has already decided in other similar cases that this sort of payment is not just. I think that right now the US government is holding close to $1 billion in a trust due to the Sioux refusing to accept the money (They want the Black HIlls more than the money).

This is what I don't understand about the whole attitude with regards to land ownership in the western United States: how the hell can you justify occupying federal land claiming that you or others like you should rightfully own it knowing full well that the people who are the rightful owners of the land have been there long before your ancestors even stepped foot on the damn continent and have not got one cent out of it?

Coming from a country where land purchases or gifts were made of native land to the government and kept regardless of whether or not the government intended on using the land for whatever public works projects they had in mind, I have a distinct feeling that the Sioux are actually wanting to the government to accept and acknowledge that the government made mistakes and generally speaking, wronged the Sioux in its land purchases/creation of reservations in the 19th century and, if anything, they want an apology.

I mean I could be wrong if the United States has already apologies for wrong misdoings with regards to the treatment of the Sioux, but this is just what I understand and interpret from what you said.

Video Three opens to a shot of a white tarp painted with a rough cross and the words "Camp Finicum" in black paint or sharpie. They also found Finicum's bible (his name is embossed on the cover). I'm not joking here, folks. They're regarding it as a treasure.

Video Four Title: "Shove your charges where the sun dont shine!"

"Camp Finicum" is a total mess, looks like they're living in a scrapyard between the trash, cars, junk, and tarps.

Fry then shows off their barricades around the edge of the camp. Then, piles of coolers, tents, propane tanks, and other assorted junk, making up makeshift rooms, filling the backs of trucks, and all over the ground in general.

Because we're patriots, we're Americans, we're constitutionalists, we defend and uphold Freedom!"

Video five starts inside one of their makeshift structures. It loos to have some sort of a roof, with walls made of cardboard and tarps, and with some sort of plastic sheeting involved too. There's piles of cans, bottles, and other shit everywhere. The ground it littered with bottles, cans, and other trash spewed everywhere, as he walks outside, ranting about their fortifications. He calls them booby traps, so they can hear people coming, or they'll fall on them, or other things. Those are mostly past a wall-thing made of logs and wood between parked vehicles and piles of junk.

They also have vehicles parked pointing outwards on the perimeter, keys in the ignition if the last video is to show, ready to get in and make for an escape. He rants for a while about the fed's gear/equipment, and how the average citizen "doesn't stand a chance against them," concluding basically that is only an attempt to make things a little closer to fair, "even." He talks about how fortification is a common "war" concept (hey, if they call this a war, can we call them sedition and kill them? Not an endorsement of said action, a legit legal question). "Defending yourself has become a crime."

Apparently he promised the FBI not to post on social media, and now he's laughing at how the FBI is "throwing tantrums" about him breaking that promise (so was the whole "blackout" just a lie to cover them complying with the negotiator? Does him posting videos represent a breakdown in negotiations and bring us closer to a raid?) "I'm gonna do what I got to, and keep talking to my last breath, stupid idiots."

Video six is called "Look how nasty liberals are!" and begins with him sitting again is his tent-o-junk, and ranting about the commentators on his videos (does he know he can turn comments off?). Talking about the usual YouTube shitposting, specifcally a comment stating he should be sent to prison and, instead of fortifying his camp, be "fortifying his butthole," Fry says "these are the people who run your country." Unless that's Obama or one of my congressmen trolling in disguise, I don't think so...

He then rants about trampling on freedom of religion, stating "if you're being forced to live un-honorable, err, dishonorably, then it's best to die honorably. You've got all these people taking your money to kill babies, and no one's upset about that?"

He insults "keyboard warriors and nerds" without "balls" to actually come stop them, while ignoring the fact that the thousands supporting his side the same way have had an equal turnout rate at the refuge - and by that I mean no one had come to face the Bi and join them either.

I got the implication they, for whatever reason, didn't find the HQ secure. They've made their own camp...somewhere else? Now and then they refrence going back to the HQ for supplies and things, that's where they picked up the Bible.
