I understand the international outrage at the news, in a way.

What I do not understand, and cannot, is the continuous outrage at the number of people dead and asking for the blood of the people who did this, or Muslims in general.

Like I told Ethel, these over 100 people who died yesterday night are gone. We're not giving them their lives back. What we need to focus on is to prevent things like these to happen again, and to ameliorate tensions between people.

In other words, making such a big deal about the deaths without a mature discussion about the issue is really not going to be productive.
