Obviously there are two biological sexes. Everyone's either a biological male or a biological female (or hermaphrodite, I suppose), but that does not mean your gender has to be identical to your biological sex. As has been stated they're =/=

It's not particularly difficult really. You just embrace traits commonly associated with other genders, without actually labelling yourself as any of them, because you see yourself as having an identity that doesn't actually meet the criteria to be called a "man" or a "woman".

For instance, a person who combines both traditionally manly and womanly mannerisms and clothing, and creates a style of their own.
