Now you guys are the one's who can actually say they deserve reparations, like because of the reservations. Do you still pay taxes? I know the casinos don't and tons of American Indians sell tobacco tax free, maybe you should round up 20 guys from the reservation and come to Cleveland and open up a tobacco shop, tax free, hell I'd go there.

Of course Native Americans (US) and aboriginals (Canada) pay taxes. There are small exceptions tied to on-Reserve activities, but since so many taxes are harmonised into sale prices (sin taxes, sales taxes, gasoline taxes etc etc etc) we're paying those taxes just like anyone else. A small percentage of Indians end up paying no income tax, but it's an even smaller percentage of THAT small percentage that makes any sort of income worth mentioning. In exchange for the highest suicide rate, highest poverty rate, and highest rate of diabetes (and in Canada, the ONLY communities where a lack of potable water has been deemed an acceptable situation), I hardly think the very narrow tax exemptions even things out.

I'm fairly certain that's not true. While there may be a higher percentage of black people who are poor, since black people make up a minority of the population, there are more white poor in general even though poor white people make up a smaller percentage of all white people.
