That is apparently the case, and it disturbs me, because people have apparently been motivated enough to keep lesser injury suits in mind.

I do find it baffling that people think injuring someone will get them in trouble with the law, but killing someone in the same circumstances is kosher.

shoot to disable, try to bluff first, shoot if he won't bluff. buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, if i had a house, i'd have something besides a gun. tazer, pepper spray, or both. pepper spray is mean stuff, but it lets you ask questions later. same with tazer. duct tape or wire tie handcuffs while he's stunned. since i do electrical stuff wire ties are as close as my tool box. usually a roll of duct tape around somewhere too.

i don't have guns anyway. also, "that's not a knife. this is a claymore". might be fun too.
