What keeps me here? Nothing, really. I just enjoy coming because I've made good friends and NSG is the only way, save for a few of those, in which I can interact with them.

I've been in and out of NSG since 2004. I've seen it all. The age of Epic Fail, the rise and fall of the greats, the endless flirtation of members with the Fairy Tinkerbelly...

And yet, I can't debate my way out of a paper bag, I am naive in nature, and most of my jokes are about as amusing as September 11, 2001. But for some reason, I persist. I'm still here, messing around, posting stupid comments and still trying (And failing) to have a debate. To make matters even more bothersome, I have a history with some of the users of this forum that causes some tense reactions on certain topics.

What keeps me going? I think it's the fact it's a familiar place, it's something I enjoy, and to top it off, part of me loves battling with others on topics, even if it is futile. So! My question is to those who have been here a while, those whom know the ins and outs of NSG.

What is it that keeps you here? Enjoyment? Or another reason?

I've been in and out since 2006 (holy shit, four years ). I came back to flame/troll some certain people from a certain off-site (typo: shite, lolololol) forum. Then they GTFO because of some shit with Melkor, and I stayed and now I don't have anyone who I think it worth flaming and trolling. It's actually quite nice here, much better than it was when I left this for... the other forum.

Inertia. The mod leash. And I really like creating nations. If there were a market for travel guides to countries that don't exist, I'd be leading it.

Oh, and, I guess some of the people are cool, and worth reading. Or at least make me laugh.

I've got alot invested in NSG. Czardas, myself and others (as I am fond of reminding people) made a musical for General. We did everything BUT record instrumentals and vocals, but it was still impressive how much we did. It's actually how I met nearly all of the mods. We even roped poor Melkor into the act.

I'd give the leftover 1/8ths of my soul to get to enjoy the outcome of that.

Haha, I can try to remember to ask Czardas where we stashed it. It took us an entire summer to do. That's pretty much why nothing got recorded. We spent our whole vacation bickering over dialogue, plot, musical scores, interviews, and then summer ended. We all went off to school and just didn't have time for it again. It's one of my few internet regrets.

Apart from you? Well, mainly Atheists who don't understand Christianity, which is perfectly understandable, but when they try to tell me what my religion teaches... Oh boy does my blood boil. My brain seizures in the most strange way, and I get what I call an attack of NSG. Usually it stays until I manage to get to Forum Seven. However, due to damnable time zones, there's never anyone there, so I have to come back.

Not that I've really been here long enough to partake in this discussion...

Oh, and right at this moment, it's the thread about whether Jesus was real that's doing it. Just so you know what really turns me on. In a debate-y kind of way.
