PUBLIC RELEASE ON THE SEIZURE OF CORDONE

Hello everyone,

It seems prudent to update the interregional community on what has occurred in Cordone over the last few days.

Some months ago, The East Pacific asked various allies for support in destroying the region and assembled a coalition under their general leadership. We're not going to prattle around this: while the operation amassed excellent turn-out, it was poorly run. Far too many "commanders," some figures rejecting or ignoring key advice from qualified officers, poor security practices, and other oversights led to Cordone being passworded and the invasion called off at the last minute.

From there, after a period of reflection and chewing-out, we re-organized. A new Executive Command team was put together by myself including Dremaur, AMOM, Gagium, Lucklife, Miravana, Oseao, Varanius, Tim, and UPC.

Cordone, at this stage, was sitting behind their password with a Governor transition in progress. We assembled a WA Team to repeal the Injunction and eventual Liberation, and began preparing for a post-Liberation invasion to be pointed by New Makasta as they began evacuating to Corsair.

However, as ejections continued, I noted to Miravana that a refound was plausible prior to the Liberation passing. From there we rallied two teams to watch and snipe the refound, one for major update and one for minor update. Cordone waited until this past minor, went for it, and was intercepted by Priola.

Cordonites have been quick to label this as a win for them, rather delusionally. As mentioned I will not be engaging in any bullshit here: the first operation is embarrassing and that is why I assembled our new command team which has led us here. But comments jeering about the first attempt's shortcomings ring a bit... hollow, with the region under our permanent control now.

Cordone is under the joint custodianship of coalition forces, listed below. It is no longer a max-magnetism Frontier, but rather a halved-in-size Stronghold. To pretend this situation has been anything other than a crushing setback for the region, including the loss of their initial homeland, is to lie.

I would like to specifically applaud the following for their contributions:

• Priola for successfully sniping the refound.
• Lionsroar for serving as the intended point of the initial invasion, and surfing alongside Rudastan whilst an invasion remained on the table.
• Cretox State for initiative in addressing the WA-related steps when those were prudent.
• New Makasta for being willing to point the second planned invasion after the first attempt.
• Miravana for aiding in setting up the refound teams.

Everyone in Executive Command stepped up, and I want to further thank organization commanders for putting their faith in me to take charge this operation after the initial invasion, allowing us to all march forward towards the successful destruction of Cordone and its Frontier.

We teach our children that Frontierism rests on three pillars: common prosperity, solidarity, and governance. Datta, Dayadhvam, Damyata; give, sympathize, control. Simple concepts, three syllables at most. I won't rehearse what we all saw in the Maham Pact documentation here. If you haven't read it, you should. If you have, you already know how Cordone has abandoned every principle that justifies its right to receive new nations.

A wasteland is defined by abdication, by the refusal to uphold the values that justify a frontier's existence, by treating the arrival of new nations as an entitlement rather than a responsibility. We have always said this; we even wrote it down. Cordone treated it as a checklist. It is a region that treated "creative freedom" as a euphemism for institutional rot. The privilege of receiving newly founded nations belongs to regions that actually intend to govern them, uplift them, give them purpose, not regions that exist to shelter people too toxic for the communities that raised them.

Now, they consider this entire ordeal a victory from inside a landfill with a flag that has half the endorsements they previously had, comparing their retreat to its comparatively more heroic counterpart at Dunkirk, calling us the fascists. That last one is genuinely quite funny, coming from the 'community' that was tolerating Zyklon B memes eight months ago. There are only so many times you can watch someone set their own house on fire and blame the fire department before you stop taking them seriously.
