I think you all might find my region, Nationstates World Regions to be to your liking. We could really use a few more good and active rpers to help us out. Beyond that need, we have a lot to offer. We have great maps, a rich history, and a good group of players who've been around a while. Please give my region a consideration!

International Democratic Union isn't particularly small, but only some of its inhabitants actually participate in our conversations and it meets your other requirements... and it's a nice friendly place...

Ok looking again as this last region I just moved it is for all intent and purpose, presumably dead...so here's what I am looking for...again...with some minor modifications:

I'm looking for a fantasy-themed world, preferably a world that isn't Earth or is based on any popular/classic fantasy either. I want the setting to be unique and perhaps completely player-created. I'd like a place with a map, a place where magic exists ( an where the rules around using magic aren't a thousand pages long), and some place where the people tend to take their stories seriously or at least, semi-seriously.

Also I'd like a region that either uses the NS forums to RP or an off-site. In the case of regions that use an off-site, please don't have obnoxious themes to your forums as I've seem some themes that literally hurt my eyes MOST IMPORTANTLY....I want a region that is active which is what I was looking for before but apparently I need to specifically define this requirement so here we go: I want a region that is currently engaged in at least two RP stories between players and players post in said stories more than twice a week. If you player base can't do that then please don't advertise to me because I will get bored quickly.

If your region sounds right for me, please telegram me as I may not get back to this particular thread right away and your invites will get lost

Although we've been around a while, we've recently undergone a change in direction and are largely building the roleplay world from the ground up. We're looking for some more enthusiastic members.

Here's our map so far. It's a work in progess:

As for the authoritarian theme, I know a couple of our roleplayers have more authoritarian governments. Nordwalsh comes to mind. As for our OOC regional government, it's not exactly authoritarian, but it's not a classical republic. The region is led by the Senate, which generally can induct and expel members as it pleases (with a few more liberal restrictions) and is the highest authority in Pluviostan. Think of it as a constitutional oligarchy, perhaps.

Consider my region, Nationstates World Regions. We're in a rebuilding stage but we have a rich history and there are enough of our veterans around to help anyone. Please don't let our regions rmb fool you we are still active.

I hope you consider The Coalition of Democratic Nations. The RP year is in the late 2020s, but there is still plenty of MT around. We're not very uptight, just as long as you don't just take up space on the map and go inactive. Otherwise we're pretty chill.

The region's been around since 2014 with an population around 70. So they're plenty of helpful, experienced players if you need any help. I hope you consider us. Please contact me by TG if you want any further information, or want/need help with anything.

I am looking for a roleplay region

A few criteria:

• I am looking for a modern region set in the present or near-present.
• I am looking for a region with the well thought out cannon and history.
• I am looking for a region wherein the member states are open to changing and accommodating their history for newcomers to help integrate the newcomer into roleplay
• I am looking for a region which actively participates in diplomacy and conflict and is a frequent poster on the Factbooks and National Information, NationStates, International Incidents, and Global Economics and Trade.
• I am looking for a region devoid of any fantasy roleplaying (all of the characters are human and all of the interactions are within the realm of possibilities in this universe.

I am looking for a region that can accommodate a European-style Latin-descended nation.
