Intl Basketball Championships III: Everything Thread
I guess it's about time for one of these again: the International Basketball Championships are back! This time I'll shift the format to something that looks more like the real world championships, with a home-and-away group stage followed by a group stage for qualifiers and capped off with a bracket. As with previous editions (for instance, IBC II), RP will count for everything, with additional allowances for home teams and bracketology.
Team ratings, now calculated with something more like what we do for the World Cup, are posted here for seeding/draw purposes only. They don't factor into my scorinator at all, although that's on the list of things to do.

Signups are now open and will run through Wednesday, January 7. New teams will be assigned an initial ranking based on their signup order. More details will be posted at tournament time, although you can probably expect it'll go the same as the other two.
