Should We Legalize Polygamy ?

Now that gay marriage is legalized, should we legalize polygamy ? My answer is yes. First, it is included in the Holy Scripture. In the Old Testament, many practiced polygamy. Therefore, I think we could practice it safely.
The concern I have with it is that only males could practice it. I would insist that females could practice it too. I think many females would be open to the notion of having say seven males living in there house. They could work and bring home there money to their wife.
So, what do you think N.Were ? Are you for it or against it ? How do you feel about having your wife in charge ?

Meh. I guess I lean towards legalisation of polygamy. I honestly don't get why people would want multiple spouses though. And yes, if it's going to be legal, it needs to be legal for women as well. It should also be legal for marriages with multiple men and women, e.g, 3 wives and 2 husbands and things like that.

You can pretty much live together with any number of consenting adults you want. You can even call each other hubby or dear. What you can't do, though, is have your relationship have the legal benefits conferred by marriage. You can't file taxes jointly. You'd have a devil of a time with hospital visitation rights, inheritance, joint-ownership, child custody, etc.
