Story


You will be roleplaying in the North Shore Peninsula. The continent it is attached to is currently being ravaged by dragons once again. Long ago this land was indeed ruled by dragons but that changed when the now patron god of this land, Chyketh, created his own race of Dwarves to rule it. He hand once lived among the Dwarves for many of years until they discovered his divine identity, at which point he left to crate a race in their image. Although considered Dwarven, they are so in name only. This race are beings of metal and ore, who had the ability to merge any two elements or minerals together. When they reached of age, they would merge armor onto their mannequin-like features. Outside of this, and the few artifacts they left, not much is know of the race. After this Dwarven race fought off the dragons, the dragons began to plague surrounding continents. This eventually led to years of foreign invasion and dragon raid all over the shores of this continent. The Dwarven race held them at bay, though an internal civil war tipped the scales against their favor when the other races of this continent sought independence. After a bloody civil war and being hammered on all side the Dwarven race simply disappeared and the dragons soon swarmed the now under-defended cities, with the exception of the North Shore Peninsula. This continued for 400 years until a Rift moved the whole continent to Planet Nexus, where it stayed for 150 years, plagued by daily Rifts bringing in more and more creatures. You and your party have been brought here, viva one of theses Rifts in space and time (or you are simply native to this land), where you have been captured and imprisoned by a Harvester within the continent for 3 months. These mechanical beings would grab "test subjects" at random to never return. Their faction, known to you as Skynet, housed you in a laboratory-n-prison close to the Great Wall and after a raid by some elder dragons you and a small militia of prisoners managed to climbed the wall (utilizing a makeshift ladder in the dead of night), successfully escaping into the North Shore.

Map - You, as a group, can pick any starting area but the capital (Lordsmoore); if consensus cannot be reach then an area at random will be picked.

The "universal" language spoken here is Common, which is pretty much just English. . . Meh., though their are other languages.

This is an everything roleplay; all timelines, alternate universes, alien planets, races, powers, magics, and technological levels included (nationstates in a nutshell). Effectively, you can play a Human Knight while your other party mates play a Machamp Monk, a Geonosian Sniper, an Orc Technomancer, and a Battle-Droid Sith alongside you. This type of roleplay is similar to Palladium Books' Rifts series and/or Marvel's Battleworld series. So, effectively, there is no limit to the type of character and setting you may face (within' site rules and reason of curse).

Breeding is not limited by ones species/race, or even logic, any two sapient beings can have children as long one is male(-ish) and the other is female(-ish).
- So a pairing of a spectral skeleton and a robotic dragon would have no biological problems. . . Out side of size. . .

You will have no inventory (clothing = yes, armor and everything else = no) as you'll be starting off as recently escaped prisoners. You will have been captured for about 3 months after coming though a Rift. The other escapees either scattered immediately or grouped up and left on their way, you and your party are the remaining group of prisoners deciding where to go tonight.

You will be teleported here viva an event called a Rift; Rifts can transport things, people, places, or even enter civilizations in either onetime events or continuous pathways connecting worlds, dimensions, or timelines.

Wild Empathy (Class) A ranger can improve the attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person. The ranger rolls (1d20) and adds his ranger level and his Charisma bonus to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly. To use wild empathy, the ranger and the animal must be able to study each other, which means that they must be within 30 feet of one another under normal visibility conditions. Other Physical Characteristics: He is covered in runes supposedly of special properties, he has a scare over his left eye and covering nearly all of his body. His horns hare honed to ensure maximum damage

Personality/Alignment:
Chaotic neutral- he is willing to do what he must to get what he wants and not feel bad, however should one of him close freinds be hurt he had no qualms with beating the offender into a bloody pulp. He has on more then one occasion killed bartenders for the simple fact rhey watered down a freind drink. He is quick to anger on some aspects which makes him a hazard to be around at times but his range is normally directed at those who would insult him or his companions. He recently found that people pay well for slaves from different races, seeing how people can sell animals as pets he sees no reason people can't be pets as well

Religion/Deity:
He follows a strange religion which was shown to him by druids, respect the animals of the forest and there spirits, that they are sacred and if you are to kill somthing to use all of it as not to disrespect the spirit. It is a bit like native American religion, then again he can't find anything else which makes more sense to him so he gladly accept it

· Rage - While raging (1st Rage Round), the Berserker deals an extra 1d6 damage to all melee attacks derived when spending 2 stored Adrenaline. This damage rises by 1d6 after 2 more rounds (3rd Rage Round). They gains an additional 1d6 damage bonus ever six raging rounds (9th, 15th, & 21st Rage Round, etc.,). To continue the rage into the next round, it will requite spending 2 Adrenaline per round.

He is very self concious about his horns, he sees them as both a blessing and a curse which is why he always makes sure they are well maintained. He has a weakness for loot, he loves to take anything and everything from any defeated foe, he has a fear of loosing his horns.

Dice rolls will be posted here, publicly, so you won't have to worry about being cheated.
- You will not have to crate an account, I will simply roll for you here.
- When creating a character, you should have a race and class in mind. After that, I will give you your 6 rolls for main stats.

This is a sandbox style roleplay (i.e. open world / loose story).
- I'll try to crate an over-arcing storyline once it gets going and you've made an impact on the world,
though till then it's best to assume you will be going on a series quests for a while.

I work, alot, as such you should be aware that this roleplay will be going at a snails pace.

This is far from a proper D&D game, so don't worry if you're new because I'd prefer newer players.

Rules


You can attack any character or NPC, at any time, for any reason.

If you die, to bad. Either create a new character or wait till your old character get's brought back.

No character bios (biographies), their dumb, limiting, and promote meta-gaming.

Low-Light Vision (Race) Can see twice further than humans in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. Retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these said conditions (Passive).

Forge Master (Class) For each Crafting Skill, the artificer gets a +¼ bonus to creation rolls.
Scribe Scroll (Class) You can create a scroll of any spell that you know. Scribing a scroll takes it's MP cost + whatever raw materials are needed for the spell.
Rending (Class) An Artificer is capable of breaking down any existing magical item into an experience crystal, which is a small quarter-foot (3in.) sized crystal cube, sphere, or other geometrical shape the user desires which also gives off a very faint light. These crystals weigh one pound and contains the essence (experience) of the item that is rendered down for parts. Based upon the artificers' skill, the crystal will provide 5% of the spell component costs associated with the item per artificer level (i.e. 5% per level) which helps to fuel the creation of other magical items. If the crystal leaves the artificer's possession, it becomes nothing more than a glass shard. An artificer may choose to use any of the crystals in his possession in any way, and their bonuses' stack together when he is crafting. After tapping a crystal for its stored spell component costs they dissipate and their magic leaves the crystals. (5 MP 10 AP)
Mimic Spell (Class) The artificer is able to produce the required spell effect for any spell that he qualifies for (to use divine magic, he must access the deities domain with a check of his class level, but any Wisdom requirements are instead replaced by his class-level/4; all arcane crafting requirements work off of his Intelligence score). The artificer's class level counts as his effective caster level for this ability but it does not give him the ability to use spells in any capacity except in the creation and usage of items. The artificer is still required to meet all other prerequisites of the spell (e.g. minimum caster level) in order to create a magical item, but the artificer is not required to study any materials in order to produce this effect; he will naturally feel the correct way to proceed and then can complete the item. The maximum spell level the artificer is allowed to use during crafting is the same as a sorcerer (i.e. level 4 is required for second level spells and it follows the sorcerer's progression). (MP = to spell being mimic-ed)
(Second Part) Whenever the artificer is required to roll a Use Magic Device check, they may choose to multiply the result x3 once a day before making the roll. In addition, whenever an artificer uses an item successfully with Use Magic Device, he does not need to attempt the check ever again with that particular item. However, if a new item of the same type comes into his possession he is still required to attune himself to it prior to being able to use it from then on. An artificer can only permanently attune one item per 2 artificer levels to himself (rounded down) (Once a day/ 20 MP)

[b][u]Scribe Scroll[/u][/b] (Class) You can create a scroll of any spell that you know. Scribing a scroll takes it's MP cost + whatever raw materials are needed for the spell.
[b][u]Rending[/u][/b] (Class) An Artificer is capable of breaking down any existing magical item into an experience crystal, which is a small quarter-foot (3in.) sized crystal cube, sphere, or other geometrical shape the user desires which also gives off a very faint light. These crystals weigh one pound and contains the essence (experience) of the item that is rendered down for parts. Based upon the artificers' skill, the crystal will provide 5% of the spell component costs associated with the item per artificer level (i.e. 5% per level) which helps to fuel the creation of other magical items. If the crystal leaves the artificer's possession, it becomes nothing more than a glass shard. An artificer may choose to use any of the crystals in his possession in any way, and their bonuses' stack together when he is crafting. After tapping a crystal for its stored spell component costs they dissipate and their magic leaves the crystals. (5 MP 10 AP)
[b][u]Mimic Spell[/u][/b] (Class) The artificer is able to produce the required spell effect for any spell that he qualifies for (to use divine magic, he must access the deities domain with a check of his class level, but any Wisdom requirements are instead replaced by his class-level/4; all arcane crafting requirements work off of his Intelligence score). The artificer's class level counts as his effective caster level for this ability but it does not give him the ability to use spells in any capacity except in the creation and usage of items. The artificer is still required to meet all other prerequisites of the spell (e.g. minimum caster level) in order to create a magical item, but the artificer is not required to study any materials in order to produce this effect; he will naturally feel the correct way to proceed and then can complete the item. The maximum spell level the artificer is allowed to use during crafting is the same as a sorcerer (i.e. level 4 is required for second level spells and it follows the sorcerer's progression). (MP = to spell being mimic-ed)
(Second Part) Whenever the artificer is required to roll a Use Magic Device check, they may choose to multiply the result x3 once a day before making the roll. In addition, whenever an artificer uses an item successfully with Use Magic Device, he does not need to attempt the check ever again with that particular item. However, if a new item of the same type comes into his possession he is still required to attune himself to it prior to being able to use it from then on. An artificer can only permanently attune one item per 2 artificer levels to himself (rounded down) (Once a day/ 20 MP)
