If you want, the next time we go onto "Summer" or "Daylight Savings" time, just shift by 30 minutes instead of a whole hour, and then just leave it alone. That would sort of split the difference between the two.

Eh, my computer and phone change the time for me. And those really are the only clocks I use.
Might as well keep it.

I like daylight savings, which puts the light when I actually get some good out of it: Namely, in the evenings. Standard Time should be killed with fire. All that does is get the sun blasting in my window right when I'm trying to go to sleep.

Some say that it makes it easier for kids to get to the bus stops in the winter, but seriously - the only real and sensible solution to that is to not start school at ridiculously early times of the day!

Personally I hate the dark mornings at 7.30! I can see no benefits at all of daylight savings and the cows dont like it either

Seriously, only the government would think that changing the clocks would do anything constructive. What it does do is temporarily decrease production and increase the probabiity of accidents because sleep has been disrupted.

Daylight savings needs to die very harshly. I lived in Saskatchewan for a decade and everything was fine and dandy without it. I hate having my sleep schedule messed up for a week every time it changes.

Personally, I'd prefer to put Daylight Savings in effect year round. No idiotic changing of clocks, no unnecessary sleep deprivation, and it stays lighter later. Win, win, and win.

I haven't yet seen anything beyond complaints about having the change clocks a whole two times a year and losing an hour of sleep once a year.

Daylight Savings Time was useful when it was first implemented (due to World War One), but now it is pointless and no longer necessary.

So go to bed an hour earlier. That's only once a year. Do you want them open an hour earlier in the autumn?

No, just every Spring places have to open an hour later. Keep it going for a few years and then stop it.

That way banks might actually be open when I'm not in work.
