What would you do if you were the last person on Earth?

Hi guys. I heard there was a new comedy show on Fox about this very subject, but I have been thinking about it too recently. What would you do if you were truly the last person on Earth?
Let's say that one morning you woke up and there was no one around. No serious natural disaster or anything like that, just every human soul on the planet gone, overnight and inexplicable.

Could you cope with the solitude? Where would you find food, water and shelter? Would you choose to leave an extravagant luxury life, or would you choose to take the chance to relax and explore a bit? Or even end it all?

I personally would love the first month or so, and end up looting bars, shops and driving great cars. I would sleep in random houses for shelter, drink bottled water (the advisable thing to do) and eat tinned food/ long life products. I would go exploring (naked potentially). But after a month or two, I would start to feel it hit home- the fact that I miss human contact, and that I am made to be a sociable creature.
It would be a weird thing: to be the last representation of the Human Race- the last stand for humanity.

With computer games and books and such I would probably be able to keep myself happy and sane. I'd probably dedicate any spare time I had to figuring out what had happened and what it meant.

I'd be very wary of taking my life, due to the fact that I don't know if the disappearance is a permanent thing and they aren't all away for an intergalactic holiday or something like that. They might come back at some point, but the fact is you don't know and as years wear on I would begin to doubt it more and more and probably descend into madness, by which time I'd probably choose to end it.

I'd just do what I usually do which is take off my pants and watch Friends and Seinfeld for the first week day.

I would probably eat as much as I could at first out of depression, and then begin hoarding food and medicine and such in my home. I would probably kill myself after a few weeks because the Internet and electrical grids would have collapsed. If not, I would start exploring a little bit to find out what happened. If I didn't learn anything, I would just watch Adventure time records on battery power until universal heat death.

I'd go straight to Weston and drive all their beautiful cars around and maybe loot the nearby grocery stores.

After a few months I'd probably contemplate suicide, but I'm not sure if I would actually carry it out or not.

Live out the remainder of my life in seclusion and meditation...if the boredom and depression didn't drive me to suicide. Might be fun though I could break into armories steal all the guns and no one could tell me I couldn't have them as I burned through the ammo.

Cry for a while and then join a pack of domesticated dogs and establish myself as the alpha. Then I would dedicate my life to reading all the major works of fiction and all kinds of philosophy. Who knows what else, other than roam the countryside and watch the wildlife. Art, thinking, writing, lots of artwork probably.

Good point about the electrical grid failing. Of course there is no one around to maintain basic public services so electricity, gas, fresh water will all be dud after a week at best. That means refrigeration systems won't work, and if you ever want to eat fresh exotic fruit again and lived in a cold climate, you'd need to do it pretty fast or else you may not ever taste a banana again!

On a side note, I'd probably read 'a book on Piloting for Dummies and steal a plane to fly here from the UK over to the States.
