There are two 'sides': the communist, Eastern Union or the capitalist, Democratic Alliance.
Back Story/History:
May 2015- Shallia invades the mostly uninhabited land of Atecista.The land is mostly filled with small tribes.
August 2015- Shallian soldiers begin executing tribesmen. The democratic west grows angry with this.
October 2015- After attempts to stop the conflict, the west declares war on Shallia and it's communist allies.

First post should be your 'side' and your military numbers
Please don't go overboard with military numbers

It is not mandatory but we request you use ns tracker to get correct military numbers to make it as real as possible.

I have 125,000 Strag Military Personal I am willing to use to help the Democratic Alliance. President Loken as asked that no violence break out and to use politics to solve the problem but he has reassured if war is to break out, Strag will side with the Democratic Alliance.

Ravenstvo is sided with the Communists, we have 20,000 military personnel active and 50,000 untrained and in reserve. Citizens of Ravenstvo have also noted that they would "fight for the glory of Communism," and threatening to torture Capitalists.

President Loken has declared any torturing of anyone during this conflict will result in hostile actions against whomever has commited the crime.

2,556,800 soldiers, of from which 767,040 are active.

My military budget is 32% and 0,096% (almost 0,1% of my population) consists of soldiers. That's not pretty much, but yeah, everything is relative.

I'm neutral, since there is no ''fascist'' side.

The communists are sort of fascist. I know traditionally fascist hate communists but that is generally the Marxist form. The communist side are a new form called Vorchevism, which has views closely linked to fascist as well as communist.

Some friendly advice... Not exactly.

On NS, there are two trains of thought on how numbers are generally created in regards to even semi realism. The first method, is generally known as the 5% rule. In a nutshell, a nation can have up to 5% of it's total population in it's military before it starts to wreck it's economy and have some serious negative impacts. The flip side however, is that the higher the % in your military, the worse trained and worse equipped they are as you will have less money per person to spend on to train and equip them.

So for example, a nation with <1% in it's military would be armed roughly equivalent to say a first world standard. Where as in comparison 5% is considered North Korean Standard.. and >5% is pretty much African/Somalia militia standard, with zero training and armed with an rifle that has seen better days.

The second method, as previously mentioned, is using a tracker of sorts. While generally accepted here on NS, some players don't like using trackers for military numbers as they can be manually manipulated on the parent sites and have been abused in the past by number wankers looking purely to "win" at NS.

Myself, I personally use a combination of the two. I use a tracker to number crunch all my economic numbers, then use <1% of my nations RP population for military numbers. I find this method works for me rather well here on NS.
