That's not what an opposition to gay marriage generally implies, though. Opposition to gay marriage and xenophobia may coincide in many cases, but they are not inherent in each other (at least, the latter is not inherent in the former).

So? If you are against gay marriage, you are a homophobe. Homophobia is a more specific form of xenophobia. Therefore, a homophobe can be described as a xenophobe. But since so many people are of the opinion it doesn't make sense, I don't want to seem idiotic, so I'll change it.
