Welcome to the RLA (Right-to-life Alliance)!
We are a group that wishes to see the end of atrocities: Genocide, Inciting Terror, and Endangering Lives without reason. We aim to achieve this by issuing warrants and conducting operations against people who commit these crimes.
Whereas violent radicals are undesirable,
Wishing to bring such radicals to justice,
Determined to end Genocide and Terrorism, and
Determined to protect the Right of People to Live,
The Right-to-Life Alliance (hereafter RLA) agrees as follows:
Section 1: The RLA Rules
Article 1: The RLA and RLA members are hereby empowered and encouraged to defend the Right to Life anywhere and everywhere, unless there is just cause to suspend it, .
Article 2: No RLA member is permitted to withhold the Right to Life, unless there is just cause to suspend it.
Article 3: A cause is just, for the purpose of this Charter, if:
(a) It ensures that other Rights, including the Right to Life of others, The Right to Property, Freedom of Speech, and Freedom of Opinion are not imminently threatened; and
(b) No other amount of force would reasonably suffice to defend these other rights.
Section 2: The RLA Court
Article 1: The RLA Court shall consist of Judges who shall be appointed at a general meeting for a term of one year at a time.
Article 2: A Judge may be nominated by his or her country for appointment as one of the Judges of the RLA, and if there is a majority of the membership in favour of the appointment of this Judge, he shall be appointed; and if there is not, he shall be rejected.
Article 3: A Judge may be removed by three quarters of the membership.
Article 4: The Chief Justiciar shall oversee the proceedings of the RLA Court, and Deputy(s) may be elected to assist; and they shall be themselves Judges.
Article 5: The Judges may replace the Chief Justiciar and Deputy(s) at their pleasure.
Article 6: The Judges shall have the sole power to issue warrants and order RLA operations to achieve the aims laid out in Section 1, to interpret this document, order proceedings related to legislation on this document or in accordance with it, and try persons who have committed criminal offences against the Right to Life without Just Cause as defined in Section 1.
Article 7: Judges may be impeached by the following proceedings.
a) Any Judge may be impeached for wrongdoing or incompetence by the General Membership, with each member nation being granted one vote.
b) Any nation may move impeachment proceedings.
c) If two thirds of the member nations find a Judge incompetent, that person shall be required to resign and not hold that position for the following month; unless specifically permitted within the impeachment proceedings.
Section 3: The Executive Cabinet
Article 1: The Executive Cabinet shall be composed of a President, the Chief Justiciar, and any other Ministers appointed by future legislation, who will be in charge of directing, financing and carrying out RLA operations.
Article 2: The Executive Cabinet shall divide up its responsibilities and order its own proceedings as as it sees fit.
Article 3: The Executive Cabinet shall be appointed, elected, or replaced as defined by future legislation.
Article 4: Members of the Executive Cabinet may be impeached by the following proceedings.
a) Any member may be impeached for wrongdoing or incompetence by the General Membership, with each member nation being granted one vote.
b) Any nation may move impeachment proceedings.
c) If two thirds of the member nations find a member of the Executive Cabinet incompetent, that person shall be required to resign and not hold that position for the following month; unless specifically permitted within the impeachment proceedings.
Section 4: Legislative Proceedings
Article 1: Any Member nation may propose legislative motions at any point to amend this charter or introduce new legislation in accordance with it.
Article 2: Any such motions will be voted on over the following 72 hours, or until an absolute majority is in favour of the motion.
Article 3: If the motion is supported by a majority, it will become, like this charter, legally binding.
