Well for the 1st time Qazox will use a foriegner as a coach. Maybe it will be the spark the team needs to finally get over the hump. Or maybe it will be a wasted 12 years. Either way.. should be fun, right? The Good news is the team returns 8 of 11 starters from 4 years ago, and two of the 3 newcomers to the starting line-up (Greg Shaw and Doreen Dobbs) did get decent playing time last Cup. The only real question mark is the new Keeper, Greg Wallace, who did struggle during the Oxen Cup last year.

In the 4 years that have passed since World Cup 57, things have changed in the national team. A completely new coaching team has come in, after Prudence Steele retired from the post and the rest followed suit. Deniel Stainag, the keeper, has decided to retire from international football, but will manage the Ipeland team in WC58. David Silverman and Richard Sakai are down in the reserves, and Gavin Pettarson and Blauird Monery have been dropped out of the squad entirely. The rest are still starting, or on the bench.

Playing Style: When watching the National Team play, one will immediately notice three things. The first would be passing. Wonderful one touch and multitouch passing from all sorts of ranges. The second, tying into the passing aspect of the game, is possession. A player may receive the ball and maneuver around the field for more then 15 seconds. The first two combine to form the simple philosophy of 'if they can't touch the ball, they can't score." The third thing would be skill both on and off the ball. All Erathi players, even the goalkeeper, are expected to have at least decent technical skills. This results in flashy moves and passes from all positions. Off the ball players roam around and change positions with one another, thus requiring players to be skilled in all facets of play.

Roberto Bennedetto is is the best goalkeeper in Erathore. No doubts about that. He surpassed Galigilygano as the best keeper of the modern day when he put on a flawless display in the 55th World Cup. During his young career, he has won the Seria-A golden glove twice and has won it in the King’s Cup. With so many years in front of him, we could possibly see Bennedetto become the best keeper in the world. He has taken over the role of the captaincy from Alexio Del Nieran and he excels at commanding the team. He has returned from an injury that prevented him from competing in the 49th Cup of Harmony and the Copa Rushmori VII winning team and will be starting.

However there are some on the team who resent him for his connection to Manlio. Despite the immense pressure that comes with this relationship, Fredrico performs very well, almost flawlessly. Chris Wilnerd is the highly physical hardman captain of Juvillian Martinax. He's over 180lbs of pure muscle packed into a six foot frame. He is wonderfully supreme in the air, dominates with standing tackles, and is exceptionally incredible at slide tackling. He plays a very physical game, attempting to push opponents off the ball before resorting to a bone jarring tackle. That being said, he doesn't play dirty and looks down on players who dive. However it was Tinuviel who managed to snag the youngster for roughly 6¥. However he experienced a disastrous season with Tinuviel as the club was relegated. Amborsio was made team captain midway through the season due to his exceptional form in a sea of poor team performances and was voted to be the team player of the year and the end of the season. Alexio Del Nieran is undoubtably one of the best players in the world. He has won leagues and cups in three different nations with 5 different teams. In his first season in Cafundéu, playing with Dunboor FC, scored 57 goals in 80 appearances and won the Dunboor State Championship, Emperor's Cup, and the Cygnus Cup, for which he was the top goalscorer in the first two and probably was for the Cygnus. (OOC: I cannot make the claim that he won the golden boot do to other nations having competed. However, as he was the top scorer for Dunboor, who won the tournament, it is safe to say that he won it). He looks to regain the faith of the Erathi people, and it is expected that he will have no problem doing that. He has lost the captaincy to Roberto Bennedetto but there is no hard feelings between the two or between Del Nieran and Planeto Socrato (the coach of the national team). He is the first Erathi to reach 100 caps and is the record holder for appearances and goals scored. He has moved on from Cafundéu after an incredibly successful run that saw him cement his place as one of the worlds best. He now looks to ply his trade in Polar Islandstates. He is incredibly fast and agile, has top class technical ability, and a wonderful leg. He has been played in a multitude of positions during his life. Attacking midfielder for EMI FC, FC Mildrid, and Dunboor FC and as a striker for Avidia United and Cafundéu do Juta. He has also been played as a winger on several occasions and as a playmaking midfielder. His role in the national team over the past World Cup cycle has evolved from a pure attacking midfielder to more of a trequartista. In his first season with SK Franz Josef City, Del Nieran netted 15 times to help SKFJC win the league and the Latitude Cup. Those sayings have been put to rest. 101 goals in 76 Seria-B appearances.11 goals in the King's Cup including a hat trick against FC Mildrid in the final. 11 goals in 5 games in the Copa Del Era including a hat trick against Juvillian Martinax in the final. Seria-B Champion, King's Cup Champion, Copa Del Era Champion, winner of the Palla dell'oro, Golden Tree, Golden Boot, and Forward of the Year awards. His speed is unmatched. His shots are the strongest, fastest, and most accurate I have seen in my lifetime. He has wonderful dribbling and passing skills. He can talk to the ball, ask it to do things it wouldn’t normally do. He is a free kick master. He can bend the ball over and around the wall, as well as knuckle ball it. He is perfectly adept at using the left or right foot. He is also capable of striking the ball powerfully and accurately with his instep and outsole, enabling him to score from just about anywhere. He has stated his intention to stay at Royal Vosaroni, but also mentioned that he wouldn't mind moving abroad. Despite the prospect of leaking a ridiculous amount of goals, the management and top brass at the Football Association of Bettia (FAB) are staying true to their Takilan roots and bringing the ultra-attacking football that made Bettia the force it once was. Although rather basic by modern standards, Sakura Park can still produce a match to remember for fans (often for the wrong reasons). Nestled in the eastern coastal suburbs of the capital city, Sakura Park has large banks of terracing at either end with all-seated grandstands lining the two sides.

Style Modifier
Northern Bettia play in a standard 4-4-2 formation - due to their infamous tactics however, a maximum style modifier (+5) would be most appropriate here.

Tactics / Roleplaying
If RPing first, the FANB (Football Association of Northern Bettia) give our opponents permission to RP / godmod pretty much anything they like - this DOES include killing or maiming, but if you really are that bloodthirsty, please restrict this to one poor hapless victim a game. The Fire Ants employ a rather unique tactic in which they attempt to gain the upper hand by getting as many of their opponents sent off as possible, leading many to accuse the Fire Ants of being a right bunch of bloody cheats (and they'd be right). Hacking, diving, feigning injury, all sorts of ref-conning activity - Northern Bettia have famously turned dirty play into a fine art. This style of play has had mixed results in the past - it sometimes works well, but when it backfires, it backfires spectacularly (hence the style modifier).

Given our 'unorthodox' tactics (see below), there will probably be red and yellow cards aplenty on both sides, as demonstrated in the second round match against Ariddia in WC38 when all eleven Northern Bettia players were sent off.

Northern Bettian fans are notorious hooligans, with their main gang being called the Yuna Crew. More often than not, rival footballing nations ban Northern Bettian fans from travelling to their nations, but they find 'ingenious' ways of slipping the net into the country. Opposition players, supporters and police can expect trouble by the shedload. This gang of hardcore hooligans continually aim to make a name for themselves as the hardest firm in the NS-world (usually without much success).

Powell Pieran, love him or hate him (most likely the latter), it can't be denied that he has talent. Taking Olibondeka to its first World Cup finals is no small feat, and for that he has earned the trust of the FAF and the eternal adoration of influential newspaper The Rumiatzi Sentinel.
His preferred method of play is a daring 3-1-2-1-3, with three centre-backs standing guard, a defensive midfielder recovering the ball and dealing it out wide, wingers and an advanced playmaker to coordinate attacks and three forwards to finish them. The midfield and attack is looking strong, but the defense has come under criticism for not being solid enough...

#1 - GK - Zernin Aira - Age 28 -

Royal Vosaroni Antenelli – 100 caps, 122 goals against, 32 clean sheets
Former goalie at Sporting Iturributa, Aira is blessed with stunning reflexes and a leaping ability unlike any other. A commanding keeper, he rarely suffers from miscommunication. The only thing that could be held against him is his tendency to rush off his line more recklessly than he should, but when his defense holds this is rarely a problem. Finds himself somewhat more exposed with a line of three, but then the attacking style of Erathi football has made him used to it.

#5 - LCB - Urtzi Galard - Age 24 - Royal Rumiatzi – 16 caps
Usually a left-back and veteran of three Di Bradini Cups, his quick, offensive runs down the wing are a constant threat. Tireless for the full ninety and an expert crosser, he can seamlessly swap positions with the left winger, and can indeed be used in that position if required. Frequently pushes up too much, but runs right back when he notices the flank has been exposed. Has only sparingly played as a centre-back, which raises doubts as to Pieran's judgement.

#16 - CB - Ubelteso Adin - Age 28 –

Raynor City United - 57 caps, 2 goals
A rock in the defence of one of the best clubs in the world, Adin is a smart player who knows when to dive in for the tackle and when to hold off, covering empty space in just the right spot to cut off attacks. Comparisons to Milian Erburu are inevitable, but in truth Adin is more reliant on skill and smarts than on size and strength.

#4 - RCB - Sotil Burruchaga - Age 26 - Sporting Iturributa – 27 caps
Pinched from Royal Association and perfected at Sporting's prolific school of defenders, he has adapted to the Chevrons' first team without a problem and makes his presence felt with size and grit. He's not fast at all, but he often doesn't need to be.

#15 - DM – Zorion Legeren - Age 28 -

SK Franz Josef City – 26 caps, 2 goals
A smart, level-headed centre midfielder who currently plies his trade in one of the Polarian league's top teams. Can be accused of not covering enough ground and not diving in with the tackle when necessary, but he is a valuable asset going forwards, pinpoint passes and quick dribbles allowing him to move right up to the box.

#11 - LM - Urgutz Belarte - Age 27 -

Atlético Central – 101 caps, 8 goals
Coming in from the demanding Primeirona, Belarte brings to the table his repertoire of tricks and dribbles, which combine with his precise crosses to make him a very dangerous man down the left wing. Very rarely cuts into the box, but when he does his carefully placed shots are a challenge for even the best keepers.

#10 - RM - Itzeder Unzueta - Age 27 -

FKM – 62 caps, 11 goals
Unzueta combines deadly crossing with great shooting skill to turn him into a valuable asset both in and around the box. Tremendously talented, he tends to be selfish with the ball, and his attitude often gets him in trouble with teammates and manager alike. Personally, Pieran doesn't care for him very much, but Unzueta's performances leaves him no choice but to send him out, moreso when he was part of FKM's Champions' Cup-winning team.

#8 - AM - Otz Lasuen - Age 24 - Ituributa United – 19 caps, 1 goal
Lasuen has been seen as the natural successor to the now-retired Bularte since he first made his debut at Di Bradini Cup 17, exhibiting the same playmaking ability and the same calm demeanor. Whether he can cope with the pressure is yet to be seen, though, as becoming the team's lifeblood like his predecessor was is no easy task.

#18 - LCF - Artzeiz Zornoza - Age 29 -

Eterna Stars - 18 caps, 2 goals
Blessed with an exceptional first touch, Zornoza jumped straight from the Astograthian second tier to the highly-rated Valladar league. Ever since Eterna Stars pulled off their incredible title-winning campaign, with Zornoza as one of the league's top scorers, it has been expected of him to translate his form to the national team. Unfortunately it hasn't yet happened, but Pieran has faith in him and he'll get many shots at redemption this World Cup.

#7 - CF - Dei Ormache (C) - Age 32 -

SK Franz Josef City – 104 caps, 33 goals
One of the most prolific scorers in the Polarian league, and a living legend at Ituraitz FC and SK Franz Josef City, Ormache is quite simply a poacher. Short and slow, yet a good header, shooter and dribbler. Somehow always manages to find a way to score from the most unlikely positions, which makes him as reliable as they come. Absolutely adored by the crowd, but not held in very high esteem by Pieran, who nevertheless has come to respect him and handed him the captain's armband after Estebe Bularte's retirement. This could well be Ormache's last World Cup, so he and the fans will be hoping he can make it as memorable as possible.

#9 - RCF - Soter Sarlange - Age 28 -

CR Submiria – 104 caps, 47 goals
Sarlange is a rude, egocentric striker who relies on his speed and height to score with unusual frequency. Thrice top scorer of the Astograthian First Division during his time at Ituraitz FC, he and Ormache know each other inside out and are absolutely deady when played up front together. Recently selected as fourth best attacker in the highly competitive Primeirona, Sarlange is lethal and he knows it.

#13 - GK - Cheru Larretape - Age 27 - Royal Rumiatzi – 20 caps, 34 goals against, 6 clean sheets
Having matured in goal at club level and mostly solved his previous issues with handling, Larretape is still forced to sit on the bench due partly to his low height (1.73m) and partly due to his persistent problems in cutting crosses. His reflexes, arguably better than Aira's, give him a constant chance at making the starting eleven, though, and Pieran has shown a great deal of uncertainty in this regard.

#23 - GK – Aztore Irungarai - Age 26 - Sporting Iturributa – 4 caps, 5 goals against, 3 clean sheets
A good all-around keeper, Irungarai has fulfilled the expectations of him at club level as he stepped up to replace the prestigious Zernin Aira. After a brief Di Bradini Cup performance some years ago, he has cemented himself as reliable and commanding, if slightly burdened by the reputation of his predecessor and Sporting's fine defensive tradition.

#3 - LCB – Iturri Aginaga - Age 32 –

Alianza Ciruelas – 21 caps
Part of the Iturributa United side that won two leagues, two domestic cups and two Ides of March Cups, Aginaga always stuck out more for his determination and concentration than any particularly great defensive talents. Left the comfort of United for the money and prestige of the Liga Aguazuleña, and has consolidated himself as a strong, experienced alternative in defense.

#2 - CB - Milian Erburu - Age 33 - Ituraitz FC – 100 caps, 1 goal
The captain of Ituraitz FC, Erburu is the de facto leader of the Astograthian defense when brought out to play. His tackling ability is excellent and his anticipation too, always knowing where to be in order to intercept the cross or steal the ball from the striker's feet. Tall and burly, he commands respect, but his advancing age has made Pieran relegate him to the bench.

#19 - RCB - Benat Uranga - Age 26 - Iturributa United – 27 caps, 1 goal
Normally a fast, technically gifted right-back whose crosses and slide tackles are accurate and deadly, Uranga is being played out of position by Pieran in what is a risky but interesting gamble. A very mobile defense partner could be a perfect match for Echebarria, but it is yet to be seen if his defensive skills are up to snuff.

#6 - DM – Agoztar Gorstiaga - Age 22 -

FKM – 6 caps
Gorstiaga's performance at Di Bradini Cup 18 was so inspired that Pazhujebi giant Zhevassi signed him as soon as possible. Now at Kagdaz side FKM, he has continued to display his quick feet, pinpoint passing and powerful shot, which was a crucial part of the club's Champions' Cup campaign. Though defending isn't his strong suit, he doesn't think twice about recklessly throwing himself to the ground to recover the ball.

#17 - LM – Egoitz Malgor - Age 31 –

FKM – 17 caps, 1 goal
A regular in Gartzen Treko's Astograth, Malgor was dropped from the squad after the World Cup 55 qualifiers and not taken into consideration again despite leading Royal Rumiatzi to silverware. Transferred to Kagdazka's FKM as part of tourism magnate Ordol Urkiza's master plan, his partnership down the wings with Itzeder Unzueta brought the team the long awaited KPFA league title before reaching the dizzying heights of Champions' Cup glory. Not a big fan of crossing, Malgor prefers to cut inside and play short passes to lead up to the goal, such as the seventy-eight minute screamer that ultimately crowned FKM as the best club in the world.

#14 - RM – Bartosz Slusarski - Age 24 - Royal Rumiatzi – Uncapped
Slusarski arrived at Royal Rumiatzi as a teenager from Mytanar outfit SK Thyssia, and in the years since has solidified himself as an undisputed starter owing to his quickness and precise passes. A fan favourite, he has become a citizen of Astograth and decided to don the olive-green shirt, making him the first naturalised footballer to play for Olibondeka.

#12 - AM - Goren Barrenechea - Age 32 -

Gimnasia – 6 caps, 1 goal
The grand architect of Echegoyan FC's rise to second-place in the league is no other than this man. Unpredictability is his game, always picking out the least obvious tricks and passes to leave defenders dumbfounded. On the wrong side of thirty, but who knows - he could well step up to the task of being the team's playmaker if Lasuen fails.

#20 - LCF – Tipi Nanklares - Age 25 –

Ajax Khaldoon II – 24 caps, 6 goals
Obnoxious. If there is one word to describe Nanklares, that would be it. He's taken a liking to riling up the opposing fans and players on the back of his great scoring ability, which has earned him a good few needless red cards. Not overly tall, but jumps surprisingly high and posseses quick enough feet to try to go past the keeper at every chance.

#22 - CF - Itzaina Erreka - Age 25 - Iturributa United – 8 caps, 1 goal
Not very technically gifted but posseses an incredible sense of positioning, always knowing exactly where to stand in order to recieve the ball. His heading isn't anything out of this world either, but his shots are thunderous and fired without hesitation.

Home Stadium

All of Astograth's home matches will be played at Grand Duke's Stadium, which is a 90,000-seater multipurpose arena that is the largest of its kind in all of Astograth. Used only sparingly for football, it is home to no club team, with only the national team's matches and the yearly Royal Cup final being played there; there are, of course, rare exceptions, such as the inaugural Ides of March Cup contested between the league champions of Astograth and the Federation of Polar Islandstates. Due to the circumstances in which Astograthian players get to step on its pitch, doing so is considered a great honour reserved for a select few. The stadium itself is very modern and fully equipped to stage any tournament, with retractable stands that extend over the track that allow for an increased capacity and a closer view during particularly important football matches. It was the venue of a semifinal and the third-place play-off in both Cup of Harmony 48 and Baptism of Fire 45.

Kagdazka and Pazhujebu's World Cup 58 Squad Released

Qichechumadia Zhabi - After all the pain and strife associated with the death of squad member, World Cup 57 was disappointing for fans of the Urchins, the Kagdazka and Pazhujebu national football team. A finals draw from hell put our beloved wisteria-and-black-wearing team in a group with Valanora, Khytenna, and Jeruselem, which was a shame, because the Urchins were never going to make it out of there, and they didn't.

But did we blame Brutušam Erassi, the national team manager? No. Why should we? He's introduced a very physical and very exciting style of direct attacking to our side, taking advantage of the good form that stars like Aquillius Razava, Fušia Oujadda, and Lyonya Filipov are enjoying. Kagdazka and Pazhujebu redeemed themselves under Erassi's leadership at the recent AOCAF 33, making it all the way to the final where they lost out to the deserving Cafundéu.

However, the KPFA will not give Erassi endless license. He must build on his previous endeavors or his employment will be up for discussion. Three 'checkpoints' will be installed during the qualification stage, and if Erassi's side is not in sufficiently high enough position in its group at the time of any given checkpoint, Erassi will have an uphill battle keeping his job. The KPFA is also looking to put extra emphasis on the team's upcoming friendlies; the Urchins must obtain at least 4 points total in its friendlies or they may have a new manager for World Cup 59.

Despite the increasingly hostile job requirements, Erassi remains largely confident in his side. A tumultuous 5252 First Division season saw a new triad emerge at the top of Federation football (FKM, Gimnasia, and Vulkan), and players from the Southwest Three are heavily represented in the former FKM and Urnabhi boss' team; however, only six changes from the World Cup 57 roster were made, in the end.

Amongst those players no longer in the team, only four were due to poor form. Rejiharbajan Yir, Odšahe Yakoko, Arkhip Tikhomirov, and Speratus Ošafi are out for one form-related reason or another, but Charha Chadi would likely have been called up had he not retired at the end of the Pocoan season, as would have Yevgeniy Oistrakh had he not died two years ago. Into the side come six mostly young players who are exhibiting good traits in the First Division.

Right back Eitan Andropov arrives, his years of toiling hard work for Vulkan finally rewarded with a call-up to the Urchins. He joins fellow Burgundy stars Peregrina Thašighi and Tykaraije Makureru in the national team. Female Pazhujebi Gimnasia teammates Chalia Sajid and Lazhthuthezha Jujazhedhi are also in, the former an electric little striker who needs to work on her positioning but is otherwise a true talent, the latter a tough-as-nails defensive midfielder and disciple of Ugo Stowell as a product of the Kuratmad Angels youth system.

Thavjiv Šeruthuvu deservedly enters the fray after two delightful seasons with hometown club Therakham. The short, wing-style striker has worked well with Aquillius Razava and Ouamchi Pudibhišu for club and will now do so for country as well. And a young favorite of Erassi's from his days at FKM has been called up; center back Zhavivi Qathif’ajuju was asked to join the People's Club youth team by then-boss Erassi at age fifteen, leaving behind her previous side, Bijji, and her beloved hometown of Fajr.

Finally, the next goalkeeping prodigy of Kagdazka and Pazhujebu enters the Urchins outfit just as Yevgeniy Oistrakh had two years ago; Ignatiy Voropaev will be hoping to honor his predecessor by solidifying a place in the team. He's got no reason to worry: loaned from his parent club Gimnasia to Raktaghav Hathi, where he'll actually receive first-team football, he should be able to display his promising talents on a weekly basis for club.

Kits.

After several World Cup cycles sporting uniforms manufactured by a Cotdelapomais kit maker, the KPFA has signed a deal with the Pazhujebi sportswear company Hudhucharu Zurzhaq. News that a domestic manufacturer has taken over has pleased the more nationalistic fans of the side. The wisteria shirt, along with black shorts, is used for home matches; likewise, the white shirt, along with white shorts, is used for away matches.

Manager.

On 4 January 5249, the KPFA sent Baba Yaga a now-infamous memorandum, wherein the manager was given a list of changes she was required to make. Angry with these ultimatums, she resigned. KPFA officials have been cowering in their offices ever since, mortified that she will someday return to exact her revenge. The only thing they have managed to accomplish during their self-imposed refuge is the appointment of Brutušam Erassi, now 50 years old, the Pazhujebi mastermind behind Urnabhi's truly miraculous stay in the KPFA League First Division and FKM's surprising 5th-place 5248 finish.

Erassi, who has now been in charge for four years, is persuasive and shrewd, and has orchestrated many a somewhat shady move behind closed doors in the past. Much of his work is done before his teams ever set foot on the pitch. Resourcefulness is his number one strength. Lack of charisma is his number one weakness. Tactically speaking, he usually favors the use of either one or three striker setups with a tall and powerful target man semi-permanently residing in the middle of the opponents' 18-yard-box. He favors physical strength over elegant technique, but will still find a way to use players that would rather keep the ball on the grass rather than play a long ball.

Oghu'ghabuzheh Palšikar, an old friend of Erassi's from their time together back at Urnabhi, is the team's assistant manager. Recently sacked after leading Vezhidrupa to relegation in the 5252 First Division season, Palšikar has always attempted to replicate Erassi's successful approach to tactics, but has never succeeded.

Style Modifier.

Formation.
Having established the use of an all-out-attack, Takil-errific 3-4-3 over the course of the last four years, Erassi brings the tactic to World Cup 58. The formation sees a bank of three defenders across the back, though a wingback is permitted to push forward if one or both central midfielders drop back to cover. Ahead is another flat bank of players, with four midfielders. Ahead of this, however, are three forwards whose positions will be highly fluid, rotating around the pitch at various points during the match. One or more of these attackers are always powerful number-nine-style strikers.

Goalkeeper Zubeida Ichuvihaja maintains her place as captain of the squad, her calm demeanor appreciated by both her manager and teammates alike. (Should she be injured and unable to play, Peregrina Thašighi will assume the armband temporarily.) Known for being exquisitely well-positioned at all times, she rarely needs to make acrobatic saves as she can cut off angles for strikers and make her own job look easy. Should her place be vacated (only possible if she is injured), Gašughumi and Voropaev, the former of Atlético Jutense in Cafundéu and the latter of Raktaghav Hathi in Pazhujebu, are options.

At the back, Erassi has retooled the combination a bit. Aqhorassia Bhara has already proven her usefulness to the side by being mobile but tactically conservative, and Ryurik Mizirov has become one of the best players on the team despite a few rocky years as a youth. But Zhavivi Qathif'ajuju is a newcomer; her selection would be a shock were in not for the fact that it was Erassi would brought her to FKM from Bijji in the first place. Qathif'ajuju replaces Arkhip Tikhomirov, who finally wore out his welcome with his blunders and poor form for club.

None of the three starting defenders (Bhara, Qathif'ajuju, and Mizirov) are likely to wander too far forward as they are all strictly center backs by trade. However, should the Federation be in a hole and in need of more adventurous dynamism, more attack-minded substitutes are available in Andropov, Klossovskaya, and Makureru.

Starting midfield sees a bit of a shakeup as well. Aquillius Razava continues to play well on the right side of Therakham ZL's midfield, and therefore preserves his spot despite being insanely old, and defensive midfielder Eduard Winogradsky's tireless leadership of FKM, the People's Club, demonstrates exactly the kind of work rate Erassi likes to see in players. But while Pythons teammates Ztnkk and Aghimaqaj remain options from the bench, they will no longer start. Vsevolod Ogorodov's performances for SC Lasft, who finished third in the Cafundelense Primeirona and made it to the UICA Champions' Cup semifinals, have set up an invitation to return to the starting eleven for the Urchins. And Peregrina Thašighi, captain of the resurgent Vulkan Gelendzhik, will start as well, after several years as only a substitute.

As mentioned before, central midfielder Ztnkk and left winger Aghimaqaj remain midfield options from the bench, as do Gimnasia's defensive mid Jujazhedhi and Ojedo Cerro's left-sided threat Zbruyev.

Fušia Oujadda is, beyond any shadow of a doubt, the best player to have ever donned a Kagdazka and Pazhujebu uniform, and her place in the starting eleven is unquestioned. Her transfer to Petardos S/A is of tantamount significance; it symbolizes her quality as a player. Fast, intelligent, technical, and explosive, the undersized but remarkably stocky and well-built Oujadda is an eternal threat to the goalmouth of any team on earth, likely to score a few goals and assist on a few more. Lyonya Filipov is the other big option, a tall, imposing center forward with the aggressive instincts Erassi prizes. The third striker is a change from previous squads, however: Chalia Sajid, fresh off a season with Gimnasia in which she terrorized the entire First Division with her pace and agility, has elbowed her way past all the others and will join her Gypsies teammate Filipov in the starting eleven. Durai, Pudibhišu, and Šeruthuvu are the substitute options in attack, Durai the former Urnabhi and Angels winger who had a tough first season with Zhevassi and Pudibhišu and Šeruthuvu partners in crime at Šenapatiam'ajat Vahavi champions Therakham.

Gelendzhik's gray and stony architecture hides a history of class upheaval and racial strife. But from this history arises a deeply developed football culture, with a whopping four different Gelendzhik sides having appeared in the KPFA League First Division. One of those teams, based out of the eastern buroughs of the city, is the old and traditional club Gimnasia. If ever a sports team was rescued from the brink of destruction, it was when Unitopolitan newspaper tycoon bought Gimnasia and built them a desperately-needed new stadium, this one, a small but modern venue.
Therakham Velodrama - Mahathu, Pazhujebu - 52,000 seats - Club Tenants: Therakham
The Therakham District of Kagdazka and Pazhujebu's capital has long had an inferiority complex when comparing themselves with their wealthy and arrogant neighbors from the Kuratmad District. But this recently-renovated stadium, built upon the foundation of an ancient Roman-style coliseum and home to Therakham ZL, is the pride of the black and blue half of the city. Its steep, almost vertical stands give players on the pitch the feeling that they are at the bottom of a huge cauldron, and its exterior is painted black with blue LED lighting embedded on the surface.
