The Imperial Empire of Jungastia is a large nation of some 850million citizens. It occupies a prominent position in the south of the Elysian continent of Tetrakon. Its Citizens are referred to as 'Jungastians' or 'Jungas'. The latter relating to the ancient trading society who occupied the land now known as Jungastia.

The Monarch is the guiding light of the People and of the Nation, their significant sway in politics and high respect and adoration, provides stability for the nation. The Monarch's duties are split between governing, and performing the numerous ceremonial duties enshrined in the State Constitution (Consitiucion d'Etat).

The Empire has a complex system of governance, where the Monarch is in a position of executive power, and is able to veto any laws, as well as introduce laws, much as parliament can. This System is popular with the people, and has been ratified on four separate occasions. The Nation is formed in a multi-tiered democracy with Citizens voting for County Councils (Conseils de Comté), The Regional Councils (Conseils Regionales), then the Bicameral Imperial State Parliament (Le Impériale Parlement de Etat) comprising of the House of Commons (Chambre communes) and the House of Lords (Chambre Seigneurs) each body being of higher precedence than the former.

The History of an Empire. Jungastian history is one of military triumph, of expansion, of power and of a great nation.

The earliest recorded history from the Jungas peoples, is from the early 1st Century AD. The land they occupied as an early nation, is now our nation's capital city, and the island that it lies on. This island existence lead the early Jungas to develop advanced seafaring skills in the 3rd and 4th centuries, and expand onto the neighbouring mainland.

The Emblems of the State, and of the King, are held in high regard by the populace, with elaborate rituals surrounding the Flags, and of the awarding of heraldic and familial arms. This Entry summarizes the most significant emblems, and attempts to explain the meaning behind them.

L'écarlate

The National Banner of the Jungastian Empire, L'écarlate, has been the main banner of the nation since the establishment of the Jungo-Ardan Empire in 1512. The Royal Blue reflects the seafaring nature of the early Empire, and the Crimson Red, reflects the blood of the martyrs shed to build the power of the Empire.
L'écarlate serves as the nations primary identifier, internationally. And as the symbol of national unity. It flies on every state building, and is often flown on community flagpoles in parks and the likes across the nation.
The Flag is protected by Royal Decree and defacing the banner, or altering it can be, and is regularly, punished by a ℓ12,500 fine.

The Imperial Standard

The Imperial Standard is, essentially, the personal flag of the monarch. It flies above every residence or government building when the monarch is present, and is used as a patriotic flag by the population. The Banner has its history to the battle pennants on the early empire of the 1200s

Biography: HIM The King is the current reigning sovereign of the Jungastian Empire. He was educated at the Royal and Ancient School for Boys up until the age of 18, where his masters noted he was the most devoted pupil to his studies. The King, like every monarch since 1852 went on to attend St Antoine de Aquitaine College of the University of St Andrews, a college reserved solely for the aristocracy and royalty.

A tall and powerfully built man, His Imperial Majesty is a traditional man in his manner, and has brought about a re-formalization of Jungastian society in recent years. Despite this traditionalism, His Imperial Majesty introduced, personally, a bill legalizing Homosexual marriage, after the revelation of his own son, The Prince Jacques' homosexuality.

The King is regarded by the majority of Jungastian people highly, and this translates into constantly high support for the monarchy. The King, as Crown Prince, was encouraged to build his own career, and He took the helm at the National Flag Carrier, Jungastian Imperial Airways, and personally transformed it into the glowing endorsement it is today.

Biography: HIM The Queen was raised in one of the nations wealthiest and most powerful families, the Hellestiano. She benefited from some of the world's greatest education at L'ecole de Saint Margarete going on to study Theology at St Antoine de Aquitaine College of the University of St Andrews. It was here that she met her future husband and the future King of the nation, their romance was kept very quiet, in a manner typical when dealing with the Royal Family, and until the announcement of the royal engagement.

As Queen, Marianne's role in society is much on a similar level of her husband. She is patron of more than two thousand charities and regularly hosts dinners to bring these charities together, to create a united charitable front.

Biography: The Corwn Prince, is one of the most senior members of the Royal Family, and attends functions as his father's highest representatives. Having studied at the same institutions as his father, and recently serving his military time in the Imperial Navy, he is fluent in Latin, English, Jungastian, Spanish, Italian and Chinese.

The Royal Marriage of the Crown Prince and The Duchess Maria-Therese of Seillenois was one of the largest royal events in recent history, with more than half of the world's Monarchs attending, the national celebrations lasted more than two weeks.

The Crown Prince's tenure in the Imperial Navy as Captain of the HIMS King Octavién was marked with his rigorous instilling of high formality, and intense discipline.

In recent years The Crown Prince has been managing the families Investment portfolio under The Baden-Est Trust, and dealing with its NS$3.5trillion in funds. His tenure as Chair of the fund has been characterized by a vast increase in the finds,as well as investment in numerous national companies.

Biography: Prince Jacques is one of the most popular members of the royal family, He is often seen strolling around St James' Park or riding his horse, La Majesté, through the gallops. He is known to shun a large security detail, as well as a driver, preferring to drive himself in his Foehn Two. This results in him being a regular on the streets of central St Andrews and being the most approachable member of the royal family.

Having Recently finished his Advanced Levels at the Royal and Ancient school for boys, and achieving A*AAA, Jacques is far from a pretty face, or a royal title. In early 2009 rumours in the tabloid press were alluding to Jacques being spotted with a string of wealthy young men, at restaurants and bars. This marked a significant departure for the press, who often shy away from royal stories such as this. Jacques made the decision, with his fathers express blessing, to address the nation and confront the rumours. The Public were initially shocked, but over time have grown to accept with a Royal being a homosexual.

In his spare time Jacques enjoys fox-hunting, and has competed in the Jungastian Olympic team, winning gold in three dressage events. The Prince also enjoys spending time at sea on his private yacht, the Lucitania. Jacques has gained some notoriety also, for spending large amounts of money. He has, since age 15, established and run J-Telecom, the largest mobile phone provider in the nation, thus amassing himself a personal fortune of over NS$1billion. Despite being the youngest of the family, he very much enjoys the company of his father, and they can often be found hunting on the royal estate, or skiing in season.

Jacques is in high demand by magazines, as he follows his father in possessing a strong statuesque build. This along with his tuneful singing voice and lightening wit, has led to him being one of Jungastia's most eligible young men.

Le Palaise du Charmenbroug - The Charmenbroug Palace

The main residence of the Imperial Family is in what is commonly called 'Le Palaise' or 'The Palace' by Jungastians. Le Palaise du Charmenbroug or The Charmenbroug Palace sits atop one of the four hills in the City of St Andrews, Charmenbroug Hill. Le Palaise is though to be one of the largest working palace in the world.
Originally designed for Admiral Hearte in 1725, it was purchased ten years later by the Emperor Julius to serve as his home in the newly designated capital city of St Andrews. It wasn't until 1897 when the palace took on its current form, designed by renowned architect Lord Fallais to be visible from the central Arrondissements of the city. Like in times gone by, the palace is used wholly by the Royal Family as their personal home. The Family are resident for most of the year, only retreating for Christmas to Chateau Deauxvilles in the mountains, and for their summer retreat in Hélena, Allase.


Chateau Deauxvilles

Nestled deep within the central mountain range on the edge of the regional capital of Hartstanton, the Chateau Deauxvilles is the winter home of the Jungastian Imperial Family, and has been the location of many Royal Christmas celebrations since its construction in 1824. A Large portion of the Government moves in late November with the Monarch, who will hold court, and parliament should it be necessary. The Monarch sometimes retreats for the short festive period to Ven Erste House, but will return to the Chateau until mid January.

Fontainbleu Castle

Perched high upon a rocky island out in the bay of St Hélena, from where the Capital of Allase gets its name, overlooking the Circadian Sea, Fontainbleu Castle serves at the summer and holiday home of the Jungastian monarch. The Castle has historically been the seat of the Allasean Princely Throne, and the seat of power in the principality, as such, the castle is the location of one of the three coronation ceremonies undertaken by each new Monarch, the others being The Petrovian Palace, Mallosova, Syrunia and La Basilique Notre-Dame de l'île, St Andrews. Built in the early 14th century and expanded by almost every monarch for the next hundred years, the Castle was modernized in the late 1800s and remains oe of the most popular residences of the Royal Family, like all of the royal residences, it is a private home of the family.
