Four more nations to build embassies in |aska
|aska - The goverment has announced the final ratification by the senate to permit embassies for four nations in the new designated International district in western |aska. The four nations are, The United Socialist States of Konilid, The United Socialist States of Archnar,
The Mind of Charlotte Ryberg and the The Incorporated States of ExecutiveSolutions Intl Inc. These embassies will be built alongside the embassy to embassy for The Nomadic Peoples of YellowApple, which was finalized to be built earlier this week.
"We are working hard to forge allies with those nations who we can trust, and show a strong commitment to freedom and civil rights." Tasshaseki Kes, head of the senate said. "Not all of their records are perfect, but we do believe that those who do not have good records are in transitions towards freedom. We certainly know our own past are willing to give them a chance. We expect much in the way these nations treat their own people and their neighbors, as much as we, and expect them to hold us accountable to the way we treat our citizens and our neighbors. "

Minister of foreign affairs and envoy to the World Assembly Gika kes said "This is indeed a momentous step, and the most meaningful one since being graciously accepted to join the World Assembly. While we may limit who we ally ourselves with, we welcome mutual pacts of non-aggression with any nation."

Non-Agression Pact Signed with the Nomadic People of Yellow Apple

|aska - In a historic first signing of a non-aggression pact with any nation, the Republic has signed a pact with the Nomadic people of Yellow Apple. As part of an accord with them, a Yellow Apple embassy is to be built in |aska, and a Salthan embassy in Yellow Apple."This is the first of what I hope many signings" Head Senator Tasshaseki Kes said "To show our aggressor days is behind us. What we seek is peace and stability. However, it should be understood we still stand resolute and strong with a mighty arm against those who might fight us. We have not lost our will to fight in self-defense against those who would try to take our liberty. A desire for peace should not be confused with softness. We will still deal with pirates, bandits and aggressor nations with strength. "

11 Pirates Captured off Coast
Relton - 11 Pirates were captured by the Salthan Navy today just a mile off the coast near the village of Relton. Though the pirates did attempt to fight the navy ship, the navy has reported they have lost no men in this raid. The pirates are to face trial in the national court, and may face a life forced labor sentence.

Minister of the Navy Udala Kes said "This shows how well our navy is working, as part of the greater system of our defense in general in protecting our people from pirates. While there has been a good sized drop in the number of pirate raids in the recent years, especially since the reforms by Tasshasek Kes, international trade has still been struck hard by pirates.
