Also, these people blew up a FUCKING PLANET with probably billions of inhabitants.

I think you guys are not understanding that in the Star Wars universe, planets are a dime-a-dozen. Easy to terraform, live on, and profit off of. Heck, entire planets are owned by a single company (not the huge, sprawling ones either) and easily decimate anyone living there. Your homeworld got blown up because you were actively supporting rebellion? Go find a new one.

Why is it that when the "Sith are in power" "nothing is good in life"?
You make the statement, but give no examples, and do not back it up at all. Do you have any real reasons aside from "because"?
Also, until George vomited that crap out, the emperor wasn't Sith either. Darth Vader has been listed several times as "The" Dark "Lord" of the Sith, while the emperor, until the new movies came out, was never described as such.

The Empire did have an entire Galaxy worth of resources to develop technology on. Technology was developed on blood; not quite a sustainability production method, nor that much of an accomplishment all considered.
More scapegoats of Palpatine's plan; remember that Star Wars only grants a window into the actual participation. All of the species weren't particularly inclined against the Republic in the Clone Wars, Palpatine only makes the situation out to this to build his credibility and bolster his position in leadership. Palpatine was a complete a-hole; to give the Emperor his dues, he knew quite a few tricks to governance, particularly those of psychotic dictatorial governance.
I'll admit, the Empire was indeed violent, but they DID rely on Aliens somewhat. For example, their spy on Tatooine in the first movie? He certaintly was not Human.

Put shields on the damn thing. Seriously, how in HELL is an enemy squadron with various rather powerful ships able to fly right onto your space station? Ever heard of shields, they're cool, they keep those damn flies from blowing shit up. That or have computers man the turrets, not humans.
