Celeron Aeronautics Storefront 2.0

Celeron Aeronautics was founded in 1962 by Howard Banes as a civilian aircraft manufacturer. The first aircraft, the Comet 100 General Aviation Aircraft quickly became a runaway success, and sold several thousand units by the time its successor, the Comet 200, was introduced in 1973. Unfortunately for the company, the Comet 200 failed to match the success its predecessor due to several aerodynamics issues and few improvements over its predecessor. It was likely that the company would have folded had it not been for the Comet 300's release in 1976 as a last ditch effort. The 300 revolutionized overhead wing aircraft in Gordonopia, and was the best performing, most comfortable general aviation aircraft in the nation. After the 300's sales exceeded the 100's in only a few short years, Celeron decided that the time was right to move beyond general aviation. The Constitution 101, a business jet, was introduced in 1982. Businesses and wealthy individuals around the nation purchased the plane rapidly due to its combination of performance, luxury, and moderate price, and the deliveries exceeded 5,000 within 3 years.
In 1985, Celeron made the risky leap to commercial aviation. The Celeron 207 Regional Jetliner was introduced, and rapidly overtook aging competition as the most common jetliner in the nation. Along with a second jetliner, the Celeron 217, the Celeron 207 was used by every major airline in the country.
The Comet 400 was released in 1996 improved upon the 300 in every way, while a sister aircraft, the Comet 500 introduced fixed wing aircraft to the company's general aviation lineup lineup.
After 48 years, Celeron is now a global corporation. Since our Global debut, we now operate with 7 international organzations in addition to both Gordonopian airlines and the Gordonopian government, and are continuing to revolutionize the market. Celeron is now leading the way with its main line of aircraft including the new Celeron 227 International Airliner, the Comet 600 General Aviation Aircraft, the Voyager 100 Private Jet, and the Columbia 11 Cargo Jetliner.

Jetliners

Specifications and interior pictures on all of the Celeron series aircraft are available here.

Celeron 207 "The Flagship Aircraft of the Celeron Series"
Price: $175 Million USD

When the Celeron 207 was introduced in 1985, Celeron was on top of the civilian aviation world. The Comet 300 and the Constitution 101 were selling like mad, and Howard Banes knew he had to capitalize on their successes. He was right. The Celeron 207 skyrocketed the company to the top of Gordonopia's aviation market. Few products have made a company as successful as the Celeron 207.

Celeron 217 "The Best Selling Jetliner from Celeron"
Price: $225 Million USD

The Celeron 217 was designed to exceed the 207's success, and it succeeded. It not only was praised by both companies and passangers alike, but it also went on to become the best selling jetliner in the history of Gordonopia.

Celeron 227 "The Newest Jetliner from Celeron"
Price: $275 Million USD

The Celeron 227 is the latest jetliner in the Celeron lineup. Originally designed to meet the global expansion, it was out a year before the company went global, and it was quickly adopted by the airlines of Gordonopia

Specifications and Interior pictures for all of the Comet Series aircraft are available here.

Comet 400 "The Best Overhead Wing from Celeron"

The successor to the legendary Comet 300 has made a name for itself in its own right. With excellent performance for an overhead wing aircraft, as well as a superior range, the Comet 400 meets all of your needs and more.

Comet 500 "The First Composite Body Single Engine from Celeron"
Price: 530 Thousand USD

Comet 600 "The most advanced single engine from Celeron"

The Comet 600 is the latest aircraft in the legendary Comet series that created Celeron. Beating out all competition, including the aircraft in it's own series, the Comet 600 is the choice for you.

To Whom it may concern,
We of the Hahklallian Airforce were inquiring about purchasing some of the Colombia 11 Cargoplanes for Military and Humanitarian Operations. We were wondering if you had a picture of the Columbia 11. If you could also provide the aircrafts maximum personel capacity and capacity of 12x12 m^2 crates and 15x20 m^2 crates. Thank you
Signed,
General Kermn S. Watson

OOC: you'll want to have some specifics on your aircrafts... seating, max take off, exterior dimensions, engines, etc... with that info, it'd help buyers much more. ;)

OOC: Just a comment, the website is well made, but such discounts are quite strange... IRL, a civilian plane would sell for 10% over what it costs to build, maybe 15% if not including all development costs. Even at 15%, you have to be quite exclusive, or the competitor will just sell his alternative for 10% over the cost and drive you out of the market. Commercial machines like airliners are not designer clothes, the customer buys them to make profit, so the markup has to be low.
So, if you make a 10% discount, you're probably selling close to the production cost, and at 25%, let alone 50%, you'd be losing money - why would a for-profit company be doing that? Such discounts are maybe possible in military trade between allies(!), because the markups are high and giving to an ally is an investment, but the civilian market is far more sensitive about the costs and profits.

I'd rather rethink the discount system to something more restrained, like 3%-6%-10%.
There is a line most people say they will never cross. It is usually something they have done long ago when they thought no one was watching.
