Ladies and Gentleman of New Jersey, today we have known sorrow and happiness. By order of the President of these Former United States, and by Congress, bill 2025 has officially disbanded the once proud United States of America. But let this not make us hold our heads down in sorrow, let us not mourn the death of a world wide superpower. For there is no reason to mourn, and yet there are many. In about twenty minutes, the flag of the former United States shall be lowered in ceremony, and the flag of the New jersey will be raised. We are indefinitely a nation now, and so we must start to act like one.
Our -- I mean, the founding fathers of America had a dream. And that dream was to create a new nation. Free from oppression and tyranny. Gone from the costs of war, and free from their oppressors. They knew that this nation would prosper, just as the emblem on the back of Benjamin Franklin's chair described. The scene of a rising sun. The birth of a new nation. And that it was is happening here, today, as we speak. Right now I am tuned into every television in New Jersey. My people, let me assure you that we are not alone. There are many other new nations that will struggle to find their place in this vast continent. There is no reassurance of anything at this time, but let me tell you that we are ready for anything.
New Jersey -- as a state, helped to found the United States of America, and during the war of 1812, we reunited the nation by fighting together against the British enemy. Well, I say we need to unite again. Whether that be through alliance or conflict, tears or happiness, pain or joy. We are a democracy, and as such we will hold fair elections. We will not falter from the principles that we have known our whole lives; freedom, prosperity, free speech. I would like to state that the Amendments of the former United States will be altered and changed to fit New Jersey's need to survive.
Together we can achieve great things. But divided, we will only fall. We, as a people, must unite under the banner of New Jersey. We cannot stand divided, now, for it will only mean our own destruction. Together, New Jersey, we will succeed! As a necessary adjustment to the new circumstances of our time, we will be re-commissioning the U.S.S New Jersey. She is still a sea-worthy vessel, and can be put to excellent use. All boating vehicles that are over 45 feet will be commandeered for military use. That also goes for any and all automatic weapons. That is all, goodnight ladies and gentleman. And awake to a new dawn, and a new beginning.

Hello! These are turbulent times indeed, if we've had to completely break up into two seperate countries. Grim times, indeed.
But that's not the point of this message. I would like to discuss a military alliance and trade agreement between our two nations? Our army and air force is top notch, and we'd be happy to grow our influence in the region, by your side.
What do you respond?

Dear President Patel,
As these are turbulent times, and we cannot be sure of much anymore, let us both be sure of something. We would like to set up a military alliance with you, along with free trade for both parties. This will not only help boost both of our GDP's, it will immensely help our economies. With you being an economic superpower, this can not only help both of us, but the region.
Regards,
President Chris Christie

We may be seperated as nations, but I do believe that we must all come together on certain items. For instance I believe that we need to institute a new single form of currency, so that all nations of this continent may have a fair chance at success. If we look back at the founding of the U.S.A; where we see that each state had their own form of currency causeing all of them to be ravaged by unfair pricing and inadequate ratios between currencies. That is why I am proposing that we come together at a summit of Nations to discuss this and other matters.
For a bright and prosperous future,

The Corrosian Alliance wrote:Jackston knew that Old Idaho would fall behind if something wasn't done. So far Old Idaho had been able to stand up against these other bigger nations becuase of its own population of 1.7 Million were hardworkers and did what they had to do, but he believed that this wasn't enough.
Jackston was sitting behind a large oak desk, with elaborate designs of Elk grazing in the forest, when three men walked into his office. The three people were the newly appointed Secretaries of Defense, Allen Ringheart. Secretary of Foreign Affairs Rodger Clemins, and the Secretary of the Treasury, Eliza Dunster. All three had brought diversely diffrent views on what should be done first. Allen was the first to chime in "We need to expand our military", he said with a slight smirk. "If we don't then we won't be able to hold our own."
"You have to be kidding", argued Rodger. "We need to establish alliances and trade before we can devote any resources to our defense. Besides with them as friends, we won't need a military." This squabbling went on until Eliza spoke up.
In a delicate, but reaffirming tone she spoke. "We need to establish our dominance financially, once we become an economic stronghold the other nations will be coming to us."
Both men raised an eyebrow, not expecting something like that from such a small figure. Jackston was the first to respond "Go on, I want to hear more.", he said while preparing to write something on his labtop.
"Well, I believe that if establish ourselves economically then we can diverte our resources to other areas."
"How are we to..." said Rodger before being cut off by Eliza with a cold stare. "Like I was saying, to bring us up financially we need to bring back some of Idaho's "famous" institutions." she said before taking a breath and looking around the room. "I believe we need to reopen Idaho's Gold & Silver mines, aswell as boost our agricultural sector."
Jackston raised an eyebrow, "Hmm that does seem like a good Idea, especially since gold & silver prices will begin to increase." That settled it, Old Idaho's mines would reopen. Jackston believed there was one more thing that needed to be done, something that he believed that every nation had to agree upon. A single form of currency. To: The New Nations of the old U.S.

While I find your proposal quite luring, I must say, Currency should not be the top priority of a summit of Nations. I will be willing to come to this discussion, but I will be requesting some sort of formal alliance.

On the matter of a National Summit, The discussion of currency was only one example of concerns that we believed should be discussed. We believe a Summit should we called to alleviate any discrepancy that may occur, problems that arise, and the installation of any codes that we believe should be instituted for all nations. This summit should be called to also address the event of outside involvment, obviously before any can occur, and to protect the nations of this continent from any outside powers trying to take advantage of our situation.
For a bright and prosperous future,
