I actually live in the provinces....
Huge packed crowds, having to go underground and pay a fortune to stand in a sardine can so you can go anywhere, homicidal pigeons and overpriced everything are fantastic? Eh I'll stick with places I can happily meander around.
Except when I go to London I walk everywhere, it's great.
We have restaurants from many nationalities in the provinces too you know.
I've yet to find a restaurant anywhere to rival Christophers in/near Covent Garden.
A giant fucking ferris wheel next to Parliament? Hardly better than Boston's skyline (never been there but hope to one day).
Why not? One's a circus, the other's ride.
