TGs often constitute 50-80% of a nation's total data, so something simple like adding Sent Items means doubling server load in a very high use area.
Still, it's something that would clearly be very useful, so I won't rule it out.

Would it be possible to have some way of designating a certain number of telegrams 'undeleteable', so that if a new telegram comes into your inbox which would normally bump the 'undeleteable' one out, it instead bumps out the next oldest one. Alternately, you could have an archive for telegrams, with each nation allowed to save, say 5 telegrams in there, which don't get affected by new telegrams coming in.
This would allow nations to keep hold of important telegrams, or those to which they have some kind of sentimental attachment. Additionally, it would help when reporting abusive telegrams, since these could be archived/made undeleteable, so that you know they won't be bumped out of your inbox by new telegrams before the mods read it (particularly useful for delegates/founders of large regions).

Well as long as you delete the messages you don't consider "undeleteable", you won't have a problem with losing them. You can get some 15 telegrams before it starts deleting the oldest one. That provides you with more than enough time to delete the ones you no longer need.

Not if you have a WA proposal submitted, have been lobbying actively, for this, and then get sent numerous replies and related comments while you're offline (e.g. asleep) -- I speak from firsthand experience here -- and maybe not if you're the teller (or one of the tellers) for a ballot within some large region or other organisation either...Valipac wrote:You can get some 15 telegrams before it starts deleting the oldest one. They'll be there when they save all of their telegrams. After they do so, the warning will be at the top of the screen. As for mods, they can do something about it, but I could work in an exception if necessary.

Arizona Nova wrote:Hate to gravedig this thread, but I have a tangential suggestion dealing with this function. Would it be possible to have a button that would export your telegrams? The save function can only get you so far, and allowing someone to export to an offline file would allow people to clear their boxes completely.
