The Traansval wrote:The Twelve Isles wrote:THE RETURN BEGINS
Billy was getting old. He could feel it. It had been a long time since the Caribbean War, and there was very little of his old life left. The Traansval was a nice place. He had been living there for some time, ever since the Fall Of The Empire. The people were kind, though rugged, and it was very hot. But a home none the less. It was bittersweet though, he was a refugee, and in command of all that was left of the once glorious Twelve Isles Armed Forces. A mere 20 men, in dirty blue grey uniforms. He could still remember that day, when he first arrived at the shore. It was hard. They had all stood at attention, and awaited their cards to be accepted into the country. It was more than hard, it was shameful. Billy had stood there and tried not to cry, as it would have been unbefitting of an officer of his caliber. But he had years. He knew the old colony's still considered themselves the Twelve Isles, and that they had some military force. As well as that, he had friends in the Traansvals military. Last he heard the Cartwines had been killed. Both the Empress, and the princess. The line had been hunted down. It didn't matter, there was always room for a new regent. Billy looked around his room. It was far larger and nicer than the one he had lived in while in the Isles. Bowler Street was a shit hole, but he would take it over anything right now. Anything to be in his homeland. Soon though, soon he would be back. Billy turned and sat at his desk, taking out a piece of paper and a pen, and began writing.TO: Jethro Kendi

Dear Mr Kendi,
I would like to open this letter by saying that I fully understand that what I am about to ask is a tall order, but that I feel it must be done anyways. As Im sure is widely know by everyone, the Empire Of The Twelve Isles is no more. At least, its not nearly what it used to be. The Colony's still go by the name, but they are not the Home Isles. But that is not the point, the point is what I ask. I wish to retake the Home Isles. There are many in your nation who remember the invasion, the Blood Cough, and the death of our entire way of life. As a war hero, I have become a celebrity of sorts among those who were from the Isles, and their decedents. I make it a point to try and stay connected with my people, and I can tell you with much certainty that they would gladly lay down their lives to retake the Home Isles.
My request is this. As the strongest ally of the Isles, I hope that you would be willing to assist me in the endeavor of training an army to retake our home. Weapons, armor, food, anything would be appreciated. I know that the Colonial Fleet is still operational, and I would be my hope that you would be able to spent a ship or car to transport me there as well so that I could recruit the people of the colony's. Once again, I must tell you that I would not ask this of your people if it was not a matter of utmost importance to mine. I will understand if you refuse, but It will not stop me from my goal. Just remember that, if the people of my homeland leave without the support of others, and if they fail, it will be on the heads of our allys and not us.
Yours truly, Captain Billy Younger, Former Commander Of The Twelve Isles Armored CorpFrom: Verkozen Officiele Jethro Kendi

Hello, Captain.
i remember when news of you and your refugee army entered this country. Despite my words of the cultural children of the Twelve Isles that founded the Bretish Union, which succeeded once in enslaving my people, i still find that the Twelve Isles could be a very useful ally.
We will be willing to supply, arm, and train a new Twelve Isles Military, along with assist them in battle. On one condition.
We request that the Twelve Isles join the Alliance of Republican Nations. And, i also request that you attend a summit of leaders in this Alliance at the Republican Palace.
Also, the Second in Command of the GepantserdKorp, one Gepantserd Luitenant-Bevelvoerder Adams (Sergeant Adams, as i think you know him), has requested to lead the Boer effort to train the Twelve Islander men.
I will also attach all Twelve Islander Vreemdenlegioen (Foreign legion) Regiments to your forces.
Welcome back...
