Because of the scheduled forum downtime, a busy day for me tomorrow, and today's slightly later scorination, I have decided to push back MD5 one day. There will be no scorination tomorrow, and instead MD5 will be scorinated on 1 September. The planned day's break after the group stage is eliminated, and instead the Round of 16 will begin 2 September.

More seriously, sorry that I went missed earlier this week. I moved temporarily to Maastricht (Erasmus semester) on monday and have been pretty busy since then with putting furniture together, unpack stuff, organize things and meet people. I'll try to be back now, reaching the QF's is obviously a huge motivation!

So, I went to sleep at 9 since I wasn't feeling well, but somehow woke up at 3 in order to RP even though I had given up the chance to. Guess my body wanted me to RP, lol. Now excuse me as I try to go back to sleep (it's 4 in the morning, the sleeping hours!).

Ouch, that doesn't sound good.

Still, congratulations for making it this far and, again, sorry if my RPs seemed a bit mean spirited towards you (it's a good thing that The Daily Skate is just a small blog site). And sorry for beating you, although fortunately the Icy Elephants were nice enough to invite the Calcuttas out for pizza and beer (if elves do like pizza and beer) afterwards to show there's no hard feelings.

P.S. I'm not sure if it'll count because it was single elimination and because I won one of them in overtime but I think I managed to pull off that streak I was asking about half a year ago.

Ah well, can't win them all, and not being able to RP during the group stage finally caught up to me.

Anyhow, if my math is right, nominations for the next WCoH President are due before the next tournament so that they can be voted on during that time. Any WCoH Federation member may send their nominations to Vyinta. The deadline for nominations shall be the host vote for World Cup of Hockey 32.

Congrats Elejamie!

And congrats to Ficiscia on winning third place. It's a shame my team couldn't put up a better fight.
I would also like to apologize to everyone involved for my lack of rp'ing. I will try to do better next time.
Also, thanks to Hannasea for a well run tournament.

Will there be a WJHC sometime soon, or are we not doing that anymore?

Ficiscia officially died by now, and I started to dislike the nation more and more, it was way too normal - and culturally not well-made enough to stage a revolution there, so I decided to use my new-found interest in NS Sports to make a new nation and compete under a new flag. Savojarna is a socialist warrior nation, Nordic and a bit of Russian in culture and strong in sports. It is undergoing a 50s-USSR-Program in order to form a strong hockey team, so see you soon on the battlefield!

Everyone who has Ficiscian players in their league can either just let them die or have them keep existing and do whatever they want with them. Whoever has players in my league can have them back. If you want to have a IC explanation, TG me about it, please. Of course, I'm happy to send you Savojar players (or accept any of yours into Savojarna)

Yo, I am new to this Hockey thing right here. I heard there is a competition for the next WCH. I would like to join in the competition! I would also like to make my own hockey league in Tomikosan. Would that be acceptable?
