The Glorious Region of TX 20005 has fallen on hard times as of late. The great plague of sumar (summer) has wiped all nations residing in the region except I, the glorious Dictatorship of Burning Brooke. While I wait for the Governments of these other nations to leave the safety of there underground bunkers and rejoin the rest of us, (in no matter what strange form) I would desire to lead them to greener pastures. So I beseech the gods of the holy land of moodaratoor (moderator) to grant upon me full title of my lonely region. Included below is the prayer of my chief priest and whilst i am uncertain of its contents I am sure it is of great use to all!



(Back in April -i think- my friends and I began our nations and over the summer everyone else's country has fallen into civil ruin. While in person they have expressed interest in getting involved again once school starts that hasn't stopped there nation from dying and so I am the last one left. I already hold the title of officer but would like to be given founder capabilities so that I may run the region fully until everyone else gets back from break and they can re-establish there nation in some form or fashion. While you're unlikely to have the mods grant you the position of founder, if you move out of the region, the empty region will go out of existence at the next update, and at that point, you could refound the region.

Hmm... I've been curious about whether there was or still is a policy regarding that, as I know for a fact that Europe's founder is a former moderator who, at the time, was created founder after another nation, called Schumania, CTE'd.

Hmm... I've been curious about whether there was or still is a policy regarding that, as I know for a fact that Europe's founder is a former moderator who, at the time, was created founder after another nation, called Schumania, CTE'd.

From the mod action logs, Europe was originally founderless, and Schumania got appointed founder in May 2003 during the period of time after founders were first introduced where regions could request a founder be appointed. From the logs, this was done as a temporary appointment in the wake of an illegal raid under the invasion rules at the time. Later, in November of the same year (also still during the period where founderless regions could request founders,) foundership was changed to the current nation of EuroFounder, presumably a shared founder account.

At this time, the official policy is that mods only appoint founders in extremely exceptional circumstances, such as regions that were raided and refounded illegally with the aid of the Predator tool. Mod-appointed founders as a run-of-the-mill occurrence are very firmly a thing of the long-distant past, buried along with the old invasion rules once Influence was introduced.
