It seems that my handball team is 10x better than my football team given that we're on a winning streak. Guess I'll be sticking to handball from now on!

Regarding the Olympic Games, may I alert your attention to group A4 of the Women's Hockey, on page 2, where Tobiasia has the same amount of points, the same amount of wins, and a higher goal difference than the nation below it, Hannesea, yet somehow Hannesea has qualified and Tobiasia not? Please explain anyone. It was scorinated by Commerce Heights.

I'd hazard a guess that your final matchday will be against 4th placed Ethane. Even if all three sides could in theory end up level on points and wins, it's impossible for Hannesea to fall behind both you and Ethane on goal difference since you are playing each other and can't both end up with a better GD than Hannasea's +2.

I've played all my games, whereas you still have one to play, against Ethane.

That means it's not possible that both you and Ethane could finish with more points and a better GD than me. If Ethane beats you by a four goal margin or greater, you would have a lower goal difference than me and them, and not qualify. If they beat you by a lower margin, or if you win or draw, you will go through regardless, and they would still have a worse goal difference than me.

Out of semi-interest, how long are people making the IC time-gap between the qualifiers and the Olympics proper? A year? A month? A week?

For me I set it as around 3 months, so May for Quals and August for actual OG.

I'm treating it as "recently". Nice and vague.

I'm more interested in how long a qualifying 'day' lasts. Because it seems that if it's a day some of my players are having to do a lot of travelling.

It depends. I'd say for athletics a 'day' is a day; for team sports a 'day' refers to a Matchday.

I wouldn’t consider the qualifying events to all be happening at the same time.

I really enjoyed the qualifications, thanks for that.

ICly, Jayden Ultimate did so well. And Anne Briton.

Looking forward to the Olympics! Hope everything goes well.

Not sure if anyone would be able to help me with this.

I know I did decidedly badly in the qualifications, and the athletics in particular (due to my lack of rp.) Would it be possible, since I find it very difficult with a screen reader to scan through things (I have to read everything), if someone could tell me which of my athletes actually qualified? I'm fine for the team sports.

I’m going to be posting a list of all the qualified and invited athletes when all the events are finished.

OK thanks.

BTW, I might change a few entry names (depending on whether I can be bothered.) Upon reading my signup, I realise I have such wonderful last names as 'telephone' and 'toiletries' included.

I was hoping someone could help. I use my phone for most of my posts but I am at the work computer before I start my shift.

Men’s 3000 m Steeplechase - (Olympic Tower matches)

I see Heats and I see Semi.

I swore I saw Final yesterday but now I cant seem to find it. And I am unsure if 2 of my players progressed in the finals.

Vekaiyu accidentally labeled his last water polo result as women's rather than men's - while it's just a cosmetic thing, it really confused me for a second.

It’s in this post. I just went through all my results posts and fixed a few more missing spoiler tags.

My full set of men's team sports rosters are now up, along with my flagbearers. I will attempt to get the women's team sports rosters together before the Opening Ceremony, along with FBC and RSFBC's coverage of qualifying. I haven't been following the results very closely so far, but I have no doubt that quite a few of my athletes failed to qualify, which is most unfortunate for those who want FBC and RSFBC to provide accurate coverage of the Olympics. ;)

I would like to raise a complaint. With the West Phoenicia Sea Hags or the Women's Water Polo team. We have good reason to believe someone peed in the the pool and want a rematch.

By all means complain vigorously about IC illegal use of urine in the RP thread.

However, I would imagine that CH would prefer 'complaints' in this thread to be based on OOC technical issues.

I’m going to get the full schedule posted later tonight (~06:00 UTC?). The first group matches in football and American football, and the archery ranking round, will take place over the next two days, before the opening ceremony.

I’m going to assume, regardless of what anyone has posted in the roster thread, that all NOCs have registered their teams in compliance with the quotas set by the organizing committee. But if you really want to RP that your NOC has refused to submit valid registrations for their teams, please let me know and I will disqualify those teams.

You can assume that my athletes in surplus to the quota are injury replacements.
