Of Gjulich
INFORMATION ON THE REPUBLIC OF GJULICHThe Republic of Gjulich is a coastal city-state covering a territory of 961.53km² with a population of around 5 million. It is a developed city, with a bustling central business district with opportunity for trade and international development, as well as the headquarters of numerous transnational corporations and companies ripe for trade.
Its people are, on average, centrists, with far-right and far-left politicians and ideologues treated with suspicion. The economy of Gjulich is mixed, somewhere along the lines of the Scandinavian model, with strict labour laws and regulated Capitalism.
The Gjulichan Republic and People are looking for trade partners, embassies, diplomatic exchanges and any other possible relations-building activities.

LETTER FROM GRAND REGENT AORASIČ HEORALVUIΔAK LOBKJAOR
Aorasič Heoralvuiδak Lobkjaor
Grand Regent of GjulichCordial Greetings to the rulers of all nations,
The Republic of Gjulich is a small nation, barely larger than the city it is named for. We appear small on maps, our borders stop with the city of Gjuliĉ Čeog, our armies are not grand or powerful. To many outsiders, we appear barely any larger than the cities of their own countries. Some might consider Gjulich an upstart country, with no great empire to precede it and no grand exploits to sing of.
But that is not the whole story. Our small Republic is a beautiful place, one which I have lived in all of my life and now have the duty and pleasure of running alongside the other Grand Regent Ʃerjas Ђosђeg and a great team behind us.
I would encourage all who see promise in our city-state to think about beginning relations with us. We wish to encourage a spirit of friendship between the nations of the world and to foster positive changes and developments both within Gjulich and without.
I thank you for your time, and I hope you come to love Gjulich as much as I do.
Many regards,
Aorasič Lobkjaor,
Grand Regent of Gjulich

EMBASSY LOCATIONSAs a City-State, one may assume that Gjulich is fairly limited in its locations for embassies. However, this is not the case. Gjulich has a wide variety of locations, each with their perks and privileges.
ĻEOŦIKRAOŦ
The richest area of Gjuliĉ Čeog, Ļeoŧikraoŧ offers a number of services unique to it. The Vosveos River runs through it, allowing for easy travel around the bustling locality, and with numerous cafés, coffee shops, restaurants and hotels, it is an optimal location for hosting diplomats and ambassadors alike.

KLJOVET
The Central Business District of Gjuliĉ Čeog lies on the coast overlooking the harbour leading off into the distant shores beyond Gjulich. With a large number of business headquarters and almost as many cranes, Kljovet is an epicentre for trade and development. One of the more recent additions to the Kljovet skyline is International Tower (Aogivečwag Faoseč), a tower built for the purpose of hosting multiple embassies and other diplomatic services.

ЂOKJEKŦAЂUG
The main government district of Gjuliĉ Čeog houses the Parliament Chambers, Regency Hall, and the famous Ʒekoros Street, which is where both Grand Regents' accommodation lies. Between monthly Parliament meetings, bi-monthly Council of Regents meetings and almost daily concurrence between both Grand Regents, Ђokjekŧaђug is able to be insanely busy but also fairly calm, with marvellous old buildings dating back to ancient times and large, marble-decorated parks with water features and green grass.

EMBASSY AND DIPLOMACY RULESThe Republic of Gjulich has a few rules on Embassy Management to advise nations in how to outfit their nations. These are listed here, and shall be alluded to in the application forms themselves.
- Service and Secretarial Staff numbers have an upper limit of ten each, while Security Staff have an upper limit of six.
- In accordance with Gjulichan Firearms laws, automatic weaponry is banned. Semi-automatic rifles are also banned, but pistols are allowed. Non-lethal weaponry is preferred.
- Every embassy shall have at least one automobile for transporting an ambassador, which preferably should have space to transport another delegate in addition. Two security vehicles are permitted, as are small to medium-sized boats for use on the waterways of Gjulich.
- Ambassadors shall be a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 55 years of age.
- Embassies must contain a sign in English, Aokjez (the Gjulichan national language) and your country's national language saying "Embassy of ___". There shall be space for this in the form. Also, a Gjulichan flag must fly alongside your nation's flag.
Moreover, the Republic of Gjulich has a few rules regarding which nations will have embassies accepted or rejected.
- Gjulich shall not accept any embassy or diplomacy request from military dictatorships or military states. This is in keeping with Gjulich's policy of Armed Neutrality, though that is not to say that Gjulich shall not join a call to arms if requested.
- Gjulich shall not accept any embassy or diplomacy request from nations with large numbers of Human Rights abuses. However, the Republic of Gjulich shall consider nations whose reported Human Rights abuses are in doubt.
- Gjulich shall not accept any embassy or diplomacy request from theocracies. Secular nations with a secondary theocratic ruler may be considered.
