He was the fallback candidate for Corbyn supporters, has been loyal to Corbyn until now, etc. He lacks the stain of being a Blairite in revolt.
He's a snake who was so scared of Manchester Momentum in his run for Mayor he decided to support Corbyn. Heck no. It has to be a Leader that unifies the party. And Burnham is not that man.
Did I mention he's running as far as he can from Westminster to become Mayor of Manchester?
