State, is somebody's property - weather the owner is temporary caretaker elected by the masses (President) or lifelong personal owner (autocrat, however we call him). In short - you are in fact a slave to the ones who own the state, weather you elect him or not.
Let us say that owner of the state hates you and wants to kill you for some reason - how are you going to stop him?

-Diamantha, Guadalupador- Early this morning, local police, and firefighters helped the Air Force, and Ministry of Defense locate and recover several large pieces of an alleged Ardokian Espionage Satellite that had been shot down by GARNET yesterday morning. The Ardokian Government rebukes the claims that the satellite's intention was militarily based, rather claiming that it was a weather satellite. On the morning of the shootdown, several citizens of the town of Diamantha claim to have seen a large streak of light crossing the sky and headed westward before the streak disappeared into the forest, and then hearing a large explosion several seconds later, First Responders quickly scrambled to find out what had happened. They arrived on the scene as what was left of the satellite had crashed right by a road heading into Diamantha. Several parts were recovered from the down satellite, including what seems to be navigation, and recording instruments, according to accounts from First Responders, and Air Force Officials on the scene.

I have just toured a war-torn town in Al-Qaman. The things I saw have shaken me. The horrors of war have torn communities apart and separated families. I have been emotionally very touched and feel the need for real action. I have decided on two points. My Infrastructure proposal will include a lot of funding to rebuild the area, and I will form a Commission to bring families back together. Al-Qaman has taken the brunt of terrorist attacks, they deserve compensation. The Commission will also serve to find foster homes for orphans. We will leave no one behind.12.02.2015 14;02| REPLY |

Very happy! After boarding a suspicious, unregistered freighter, my crew and I found RPG-7s in the cargo hold. Arms trafficking! We confiscated weaponry, scuttled the ship, and locked the freighter's crew in irons in the hold of my Destroyer. Reported it to the Naval Office and have been promoted to Commodore, putting 2 more ships in my service. On my home to celebrate with my family and unload prisoners!

Crazyland? You dress our republic as crazy land? Now I have my disagreements with President Golofad, but I do not think he makes us Crazyland or any other type of dystopia. And also the President's tax rate for the wealthiest is 42%, not 99%!
My proposition for taxation is as follows:
-10% for Working Class and Less for Poorer
-14% for Middle Class
-30% for Highest Earners
This will not put businesses out, but still pay for necessary programs. But without free enterprise our economy will crash. That is why I will lower the minimum wage to 10 Francs per hour. Back down from this 15 Franc one that kills businesses.12.02.2015 14;02| REPLY |
