PUF Embassy on Fire! Riots in Antietam!

Antietam, Castille de Italia — Protesters in the streets, cars abandoned and on fire, police no where to be seen. Those that made it to the Embassy now hide inside it's brick and black metal fences, or within the buildings stone walls. Armed soldiers stand on rooftops and at the gates and doors, additional soldiers hide behind mobile armored walls. A faint acrid smell lingers in the air. The light fog that lingered around the Embassy disperses as a grey military helicopter flies overhead and lands behind the Embassy walls.

From over the wall, a column of smoke can be seen, whether it is from a device thrown over the wall by protestors or something done by the staff remains unknown. Protestors continue to yell, but from afar this time, fearing another tear gas attack from the Embassy.

The helicopter lifts off as quickly as it landed. The words
'Amanda del FUP' can be just barely read as it heads to the coast and soon another helicopter flies in to take it's place.

The People's Unified Federation denies the accusations that that any of the terrorists attacks in Castille de Italia were sponsored by, aided by, or condoned by the People's Unified Federation. The Federation has always held a firm stance against terrorism and will continue to do so.

In addition, the PUF will be formally withdrawing their offer to aide those in need after the attacks.

At the moment the People's Unified Federation is evacuating the Embassy via Marine flights out of Naval Station Norte Mar. The Embassy will be closed in two days time.

The 13th Marine Division has been deployed to Naval Station Norte Mar to assist in civilian evacuations and maintain security.

PUF military installations in Castleclose will continue flights in and out of the country every half hour to ensure civilian evacuations are expedited. Proper security measures, including fighter escorts, will be taken to ensure civilian safety.

“First thing I would like to address even though the Crown is thankful for peace that is now between the Kingdom and Morrdh it came at a price of freedom of countries rights to choose for themselves which way to conduct its own path in the world. This freedom was taken with the threat of force from larger countries in the region peace or else. While the Crown understands the need for peace between neighbors, but at what cost, the cost of a nation to having to submit to a larger nation it’s rights as a sovereign nation.”

“The second statement deals with the horrible attacks on the people of Castille and our prayers go out to that great nation in its time of need. But the Crown would like to see the evidence that the Government of Castille claims it has that Mokastana supported the acts of terror that struck the nation. This not the time to condone violence against the citizens of Mokastana in Castille, we believe that between the attacks and the finger pointing there wasn’t enough time to conduct a investigation to point the finger at Mokastana unless the knowledge was already know and not acted on or some kind of false flag operation to make it look like Mokastana supported the attacks. There should be an independent investigation by a neutral nation before threats and riots are called upon. We will stand with Mokastana and will assist in the evacuation of its personal if needed till there is an investigation to be done to prove who is at fault for these attacks.”

Antietam, Castille de Italia — Amidst the turmoil and overall chaos occurring in the Castillian capital of Antietam. It has begun to become apparent that these riots are not only being perpetrated by angry Castillians themselves but by Ordenites who swear allegiance to the Reich Party which is the ruling national socialist party that dominates politics and daily affairs in the United World Order. Since the riots begun against ethnic Mokans living in Castille and in particular the capital its self, it became apparent that a specific group of rioters has taken to the forefront of waging unnerving violence and terror on what ethnic Mokans and their property still remain on Castillian soil. They wear typical uniforms found by party members of the Reich Party, sporting their swastika arm bands. They armed themselves with lead pipes, baseball bats and other blunt object weaponry and took to the streets in the midst of the outrage and begun attacking Mokans while at some times the authorities would stay out of it, and or allow it to happen under their watch. They even went as far as participating in grand arsony, it was rumored and reported that these Ordenite participants were part of the burning of a Tatom telecommunications building.

Upon approaching the group and attempting to get comments about why they were in Antietam and actively participating in ethnic motivated violence, they simply said "Mokans are the scum of the earth, they are leeches on the skin of society everywhere. They deserve to be humiliated and driven out of there hiding holes in such a manner as what we are doing in Antietam. SEIG HEIL!".

First in Haize History? Miriko-Arms Rumoured to Export Haize Anti Tank Supersonic Missile

Supersonic Brei ATGM being launched by Haize Army APC, 2012 trials

An informant that familiar with the workings of Miriko-Arms claimed that the company is currently preparing for a direct arms export sale to undisclosed third party/parties. Miriko-Arms is one of few officially Junta-sanctioned defense companies in Haishan where it and few others were given some permissions to determine their own business activities without much interference from the administration.

Information on the company is scarce at the point of writing but Defence.net was acknowledged that Miriko-Arms was behind the classified Nicaea anti-satellite weapon supplied to Wolf Armaments defense conglomerate and Brei supersonic missile, one of anti tank weaponry employed by Haize Army.

According to the informant which refuse to be named, the Brei missile is nearly analogous to LAIX Arms' Havik-series anti tank missile, with multiple modes of guidance to operate in electromagnetically-contested environments. The missile also boast selection of warheads which can be tailor-fit to particular mission.

The greatest surprise however is the company decision to export the said missile which, by Junta official records, is the primary weapon being currently used by Haize Army. This broke known conventions on Haize sparse weapon sales which will only proceed should the equipment in question will be phased out or replaced by a new one.

Another interesting tidbit is the claim of Brei fantastical performance that allow it to penetrate up to three meters of steel in a single shot, a potent weapon indeed and shouldn't be exported out of Haishan. Should the export sale is approved by the Haishan Defense Ministry, Haize weaponry will get more prevalent over time and their replacements will be particularly intriguing.

SHAKE UP OF SPECIAL FORCES

MOD - In a statement earlier today the Ministry of Defence confirmed that a shake up of the Commonwealth's special forces is going ahead.

Amongst the plans that have been green lit is a merger of the Special Air Service and its Royal Space Force counterpart, the Special Space Service, into a new force that'll be known as the Special Aerospace Service. A MOD spokesperson stated that the tactics and expertise of the merged forces will make the new unit highly flexible and skilled with enhancements to its mission capabilities. The new unit will also have a greater experience of a wider range of environments in which they are able to operate.

BREAKING NEWS

The Imperial Government’s press office has delivered, via press conference, the following information regarding a developing situation in the Panoolian Straits, located between Northern Holy Panooly and Adaptus Astrates.

Northern Panoolian warlord affiliated pirates have hijacked an Imperial Astratii container ship, the MV Cygnus, in the Panoolian straights. The ship is the first high profile and most expensive vessel, in terms of cargo and vessel class, to be hijacked in almost three years. The MV Cygnus is reportedly carrying mainly agricultural equipment but is also carrying foreign aid to Holy Panooly, including medical and food supplies in line with the Holy Empire’s continued humanitarian contribution to the on going conflict in the failed nation-state.

Several high-speed ‘brown water’ vessels launched from northern Holy Panooly attempted to board the vessel on several occasions but were repelled by on board private security forces. However it has now been confirmed that the vessel has been successfully boarded and hijacked by at least seven pirates operating from a single vessel that has now seen departed the area. It has further been confirmed that there are at least five private security personnel are confirmed killed in the pirate action and that the captain and chief engineer of the vessel are being held hostage.

It is reported, though not confirmed by either the Stevidian or Astratii government the MV Cygnus is en route to a haven in Northern Holy Panooly and a ransom for the vessel and captured members of the crew has been demanded numbering in the tens of millions of dollars. It has been confirmed by the government that there are five hostages as advertised by the pirates; the whereabouts and condition of the other twenty crewmen have not been disclosed. It is entirely possible that they are awaiting rescue within the ship’s panic room, a self sufficient and sealed room where crew members are to retreat to in times of pirate boarding.

Details of the hijacking, beyond the fact that it has taken place, have not been disclosed. However resourceful freelance journalists operating out of Adaptus Astrates have managed to capture photos of the MV Cygnus that clearly show the ship burning. It is clear that an explosive, yet short lived, battle or other exchange in fire occurred that has left the ship ablaze. The government refused to comment on this as they said they did not have enough information to confirm or deny the any proceedings that may or may not have taken place.

The ship is currently less than 36 hours away from the North Panoolian coastline and it is believed that the ship may be heading for a harbour in northeast Holy Panooly that has sympathies with local warlords, either due to pressure or bribery. Piracy is a major problem in this part of the region, however the joint coalition task force made up of Stevid, Astratii and Macabee naval ships has curtailed piracy massively in recent years. However the risk of piracy is still major threat as evidenced by the hijacking of the MV Cygnus. However, an attack of this extreme and this sort of bloodthirsty violence is seldom seen and will be an unwelcome reminder to the three governments that a real and ever present threat of professional piracy still exists around Holy Panooly.

The government signed off its declaration with a message from the Imperial Ministry of Defence: it stated that the Royal Navy and Imperial Astratii Navy, in conclusion with its counterparts in the Golden Throne were working hard to resolve the situation in as peaceful a manner as possible. Imperial Broadcasting Corporation News can confirm that the MV Cygnus is not alone and is currently being shadowed by Stevidian naval ships, an amphibious assault carrier and a single frigate. The Astratii naval command directed all comments to the Stevidian Imperial Ministry of Defence and the usual spokesperson of the Golden Throne’s Kriegmada was unavailable for comment at this time.

It is very likely that Stevidian special forces may be called upon to end the siege on the MV Cygnus regardless of casualties, however this particular eventuality was raised by the Ministry of Defence and was said to be the method of last resort should all attempts to secure the ship and crew fail. Stevid has a very high concentration of special forces in the local area and Adaptus Astrates too has it’s own naval variety of specialist marine units ready to deploy if need be.

The siege continues and the Imperial Broadcasting Company will continue to bring you updates and events unfold.

Peace in Mordent! Federal Government to resume cooperation with the Kingdom.

A peace treaty, brokered by Lyran influence, was formally signed and agreed upon last week at the Lenton Island Peace Conference. The treaty specified the return to status quo on the border, with a Lyran enforced DMZ between the two halves. In addition, Lyras will pay the compensation for the destruction of Lindun and assist both sides in financial recovery.

Due to the peace treaty being formally adopted, the People's Unified Federation has offered to reopen their ports to the Kingdom's Navy as they begin their support operations of the Golden Throne against The Scandivans. While their is no talk of allowing the Kingdom to reestablish their naval bases, this step still goes far to show East and West Cooperation against a common, external, foe.

Satrap Carragher Stripped of Power
and Sentenced to Death!

Reprisals against the old 'whitie' ruling class continue under the Golden Throne's oversight, despite the presence of Macabean soldiers in the country.

Despite the presence of over 170,000 Macabean troops and a new government under a Golden Throne-appointed Satrap, North Panooly remains under the influence of old violent habits. Whereas a year ago we saw the end of white-against-colored racial violence, the new world order moves in the other direction. Unsanctioned murders of 'whitie' families living in North Panooly continue, with the new government struggling to restrain rural indigenous militias from re-establishing their power where the hand of the state remains weak. Similarly, a recent attack on Stevidian shipping by pirates purportedly based in the south-central Díenstadi country has brought attention to the problem of high-seas criminality. Because of his inability to bring order to his country, Satrap Jax Carragher was impeached by the Golden Throne's Imperial Government. No longer protected by his political status, Carragher was immediately brought to trial before a tribunal of peers and sentenced to death for war crimes committed during the dreaded Templeton regime.

The violence aside, stability in North Panooly has improved immensely since the Golden Throne's intervention. KN755, which claimed the lives of millions of indigenous Panoolies, has mostly been eradicated thanks to Macabean medical teams and the last 'survival zone' was closed down over three months ago. Likewise, the militant forces that plagued the country during its civil war have mostly dissipated thanks to a combination of firepower and financial incentives. Nevertheless, crime and the embers of insurgency are still daily threats to the newfound peace in a country that enjoys new special status under the Golden Throne's wing.

Macabean focus on the two problems of insurgency and disease, as well as their defensive build-up along the Panooly Frontier, has put much of the responsibility for other security needs on the shoulders of local police. These, scarce and weak, have been able to do little against the continued bombings and colored-on-white reprisals that characterize North Panooly. As a result, a trend of violence has risen unabated. While this may be expected in a country not yet even a year old and with little resources granted to it, the Golden Throne accused the Satrap it appointed of incompetency and removed him from power only four days ago. Justice Minister Joao Bagamba has been appointed provisional Satrap in Carragher's stead, in a move that sees the complete overturning of the old world order under Templeton.

The Golden Throne's decision to strip Carragher of power comes days after a Stevidian ship was seized by pirates, who are thought to have originated from the northwestern coast of North Panooly. Piracy continues to be a menace in the straits between Holy Panooly and Theohuanacu, and the Golden Throne continues to be embroiled in renewed conflict with pirate governments on the southern coasts of the latter Imperial Territory. The reappearance of pirates along the western Panooly coast is of grave concern and has clearly startled the Imperial Government, the attack on the Stevidian cargo ship serving as the final straw against a domestically unpopular Carragher.

The decision was apparently made in the dead of night and Macabean personnel in the capital city of Panooly were said to have escorted Carragher out of the Satrap's Palace before the city found out hours later via emergency broadcast. Carragher has been accused of war crimes against the Panooly people by Minister of Justice Joao Bagamba. The former Satrap, known as 'Bloodlust' Carragher for his actions at the Siege of Cartouma, was immune to prosecution during his tenure, thanks to the protections granted by the Golden Throne. Retracting his patronage, His Imperial Majesty Fedor I ordered his transport to a local police station, where Carragher was arrested and jailed. Justice Minister Bagamba organized a public trial days later, where the former Satrap was found guilty of genocide. A jury — made up of seven 'coloured' members and two 'whities' — voted unanimously in favor of the death sentence, which will be carried out in three days by means of firing squad. The execution will be carried out by a special task force assembled from local policing and security units.

It is Joao Bagamba who has been appointed provisional Satrap by decree of Fedor I. Bagamba had fought with the rebellion during the civil war, rising to fame for his bold actions at Guamlumpeiron, and has become a renowned leader amongst the indigenous Panooly people. Despite his public opposition to continued violence committed by 'coloured' insurgents, his vast and far-reaching campaign against criminals of the freshly-toppled Templeton regime has made him immensely popular throughout the country. White sectors of the country have criticised Bagamba for turning a blind eye to 'coloured' crime in both the countryside and in the cities, but their cries have fallen on largely deaf ears. The whites are spared few sympathies after decades of oppression, racial war, and mass murder. With Bagamba's appointment as Satrap, the odds seem to stack even further against them. Bagamba's replacement in the Ministry of Justice will be put to a vote in emergency elections, but those elections are almost foregone conclusions given the political climate in the satrapy.

However, many analysts predict that Bagamba's appointment will act as a positive force. It is hoped that a 'coloured' Satrap will help persuade many insurgents to put faith in the prevailing public discourse. Many of the bombings were intended to dissuade voters from swelling the polls, as criminal protests against the democratic process. Because of the Golden Throne's ultimate status as protector and the power given to the Satrap — who is essentially a Macabee-appointed dictator constrained by a democratic legislature —, a culture of distrust still mars the new government. Bagamba's rise may help give the system some direly needed credit.

In an effort to curb street and racial violence, the Golden Throne has also announced its intentions of bolstering its garrison in North Panooly. Its deployment there will increase to three-quarters of a million troops over the next year, with most of the manpower expected to come from Zarbia, Monzarc, and the Havenic Territories. Much of this strength will be in the way of infantry, although the Ejermacht is said to also be tripling the size of its armored forces in the satrapy. In conjunction with the deployment, more Imperial forces will be committed to the training of civilian police forces, with the intention of growing local security forces to 175,000–300,000 officers. Macabean commanders hope that allocated Imperial troops can gradually be repurposed towards defensive objectives, especially given the cooling of relations between the Golden Throne and the Ordenites. Events in Red Star Union and in north-east Greater Díenstad have increased international tensions and the security of North Panooly is as paramount as ever.

In the meantime, North Panooly looks on to what the future may bring. The indigenous population holds new hope, while white families continue to emigrate to Guffingford and Theohuanacu. Whether Bagamba's appointment will bring an end to the violence is yet to be determined, there are strong reasons to believe in the possibility of improvement. The flow of capital to the satrapy has only grown larger over the months, with Haize and Mokan companies joining Macabean industry in the resource-rich Panooly jungles, and gross domestic product grew for the first time last quarter. The gradual build-up of Macabean soldiers will help provide additional layers of security and the reversal of racial roles will help satisfy a bloodthirsty indigenous majority. That, at least, is what most hope.

IBC Breaking News.

It has been learned this afternoon from a source inside the MOD that operations are underway to pull forces out of Southern Greal without a formal peace treaty being signed. This move marks the first time that forces will be removed from a war zone with the war still underway, even though there has been a ceasefire for months now there is still no movement on a peace treaty. It’s been said that the first forces to be pulled out with be the southern army commands and closing the front of over 1.4 million troops to less than a million within a few months. No word on why this move is happening like this there seems to be reason to keep this from the public and news by the MOD but it’s not known way, stay turned to IBC for further updates as they come available.

POST-WAR MORDENT TAKES SHAPE!

MORDENT - With a possible end to the Mordent Conflict in sight Her Excellency's Government has announced plans for the war torn island's future.

A new position called the 'Lord Protector of Mordent' has been created, effectively a military governor with the holder also acting as the commander of Morridane Forces Mordent (formerly the Mordent Garrison). In addition a provisional government is to be setup to handle civil administration, though it is hoped by a re-established Mordent Parliament with elections scheduled to take place in four years time. Others changes include the Mordent Defence Regiment being renamed to the Royal Mordent Regiment and re-organised to contain a single battalion of full-time soldiers in addition the existing part-time volunteers that already form the Regiment.

Though the issue remains that the Commonwealth Atomic Research Establishment (CARE) has declared that the island and its surrounding waters are "likely to be radioactively contaminated for some years to come". The war and its legacy has effectively killed the island's two major industries; fishing and sheep-farming with the future of both looking extremely dire. Prospects for other industries in Mordent such as whaling and provisioning ships are equally grim, particularly following the atomic destruction of the capital of Lindun. Any economic recovery is going to be severely hampered by the loss of Lindun and, more importantly, its port as the city's ruins are going to be off-limits (bar the occasional military or CARE patrols) for quite some time.

Long-term plans for the reconstruction of Lindun and improvements to military defences are on the books, though this is dependent on local radiation levels especially with regards to the former. Short-term there is services and facilities for the MFM and a permanent CARE research base is to be constructed to monitor radiation levels and to study radioactive contamination over a long period of time. It is expected that an entire new industry dedicated to servicing the needs of military and CARE personnel alike will gradually form overtime, likewise the Mordent Health Authority is expected to receive a boom in funding to purchase new equipment and hire more much needed staff.

Decades old "Dragon" Egg hatches, actual dragon emerges!

An unexpected minor accident has led to big changes today on Urst Island, southeast of the Lamonian mainland. Previously known for being a wildlife refuge, the island was also the resting place for a gift to the Free Republic from the nation of Demot in the region of Atlantian Oceania. The gift in question? The government of Demot had called it a dragon egg, and it had been suggested to the Free Republic to keep the egg in or near fire until it was ready to hatch. Initially somewhat skeptical, the government of the Free Republic apparently lost interest in the "egg" with time as it failed to hatch, and those who did not believe in dragons thought that the Free Republic had been taken in by Demot.

All of this changed however, when a careless refuge employee accidentally knocked the egg off of their bosses desk, only to have it roll into the bosses fireplace, where it touched the flames of the lit fire. For reasons unknown at this time, there was no screen over the fireplace, which would normally have prevented incidents like this. Soon after the egg had entered the flames however, it began to hatch, and an actual baby dragon has emerged from the egg. A group of top scientists is currently en-route to the island in order to study the creature previously only known in mythology, and the government has dispatched a missive to the nation of Demot, inquiring about how to take proper care of the biggest newborn animal in Lamonian history. Blood and DNA samples are being carefully extracted, and the government has advised the public not to rush to the island, in the interests of public safety. The Lamonian National Police are starting air and sea patrols in order to keep the public at bay, until it can be better determined as to how the new arrival will act.

The baby dragon is already larger than an office chair, and if the mythology is anything to go by, it will certainly get bigger as the centuries go on. While flash photography of the baby dragon is prohibited at this time, a colored drawing of the dragon has been circulated to the media.

It is as yet unknown if the dragon has mastered the art of flying, though it does appear to be intelligent, following verbal commands much like a dog would. The dragon does not yet have a name, though the refuge staff have announced that a competition will be set-up in the near future, which will allow Lamonian citizens to vote on possible names. For those of you who are already aware of dragon-related lore, it has been reported that the dragon is also attempting to breathe fire, but that this might be a skill that it will completely acquire when older.

LOW RAINFALL SPARKS WILDFIRE FEARS!

Chitzeland Joins Wanderjarian Commonwealth

armed forces and loyalist militias to bring the country together out from the control of organized crime and regional warlords.
Unfortunately, most of the economic recovery programs have failed to sufficiently stimulate Chitzi economic growth, leading to

KUT-KUZYA, 22th MAY, HSNS - Haize Admiralty is reported to order new substitution for Haize Type 55 nuclear-powered guided missile destroyer today. The still unnamed destroyer is expected to carry out Type 55 functions and newer doctrinal missions as requested by Haize People Naval Forces.

However so far, it does not seem as if a favourable result will come out of today's events.

Vladiminsk Ryba is a major official in the Zolevskoy Democratic Republic Party, known for holding authority over the terrorist organization's propaganda committee. He is well-known for his agrarian Maoist political motives, for being fiercely loyal to his party, and for encouraging very violent acts of terror to be conducted in Zolevskoy. Vladiminsk has not just called for the death of Zolevskoyan president Nikolic Woronoff, but also for government and security forces buildings to be bombed, infrastructure to be destroyed, and for the "quick, punitive death of the Zolevskoyan fascist so-called republic". There are also rumours that he has even called for the kidnapping of Zolevskoyan civilians.

"Vladiminsk Ryba is not just a threat to our country, our people, and our stability, but also to the citizens and governments elsewhere in the world." Zolevskoy's minister of internal security services, Mladen Nedeljko, stated in a brief press conference regarding the situation in the Red Strip a day ago. "The Zolevskoy Democratic Republic Party terrorists are known for their consistent ruses and acts of barbarianism, why should we believe that their elections will be fair and not decided by their government?"

Kiril Antonov lead the ZDRP and dominated the Red Strip for about 12 years until his recent death, with very few forms of elections during his reign. Many citizens died during his role by the ZDRP's Civil Protection service and Revolutionary Brigades, for "crimes" as slight as even just questioning Kiril, the government, or their military wing.

Nikolic Woronoff stated just 6 hours ago that the Zolevskoyan government will be watching the elections very closely, and if Zolevskoy is attacked, there will be retaliations, and that "military force will not be ruled out as an option" if attacked.

Space Force To Recreate Mission For Lunar Landing Anniversary

CCA- The Ministry of Space has announced that the Royal Space Force will recreate the 1959 Morridane Lunar landing mission for the mission's 60th anniversary in 2019.

The mission, codename TARANIS-60 in honour of the anniversary, will feature a replica of the Valiant-1 spacecraft and lunar lander. Whilst great care will be taken to follow the original blueprints as much as possible modern equipment will be fitted to bring both craft up to meet present day safety regulations. Space Commodore Hawke, the mission's commander, stated; "Its going to both be a real challenge and an honour. We'll be following in the footsteps of pioneers, men who'd years earlier flew piston fighters went into the void atop rockets. Some made it, some didn't. But the Space Force and the CCA owe alot to these men who took us out into the Black."

Celebrations will also be made in the same year to mark the 1969 Mars Expeditionary Force mission and the founding of the first Martian colony.

Just two days ago, the UWO officially enacted what is known as the "Berlina Race Accords of 2016". In the accords, it identifies an Ordenite as a citizen of the state, with Ordenite blood. It also classifies Castillians , Ralkovians and Wanderjarians as honorary Ordenites if they choose to obtain citizenship. Along with this, it also identifies so-called "subhumans", such as Jews, Muslims, Gypsies, and people who do not have Ordenite blood. All who are not classified as Ordenite citizens are to be totally stripped of any basic political and civil rights and freedoms, and forbids them from having any relationship with Ordenites. As well, all so-called subhumans residing in the UWO are to have identification. Below is a full version of the Berlina Accords, with all articles.
