Beckwith City began their title defence with a disappointing loss away at FC Chippenham. Despite starting strong, with Osarian striker, Sergio Martini's scorching long range effort being denied only by the fingertips of new Chippenham keeper Max Beyer, Beckwith soon fell behind after Will Rimmer's sliding shot somehow made it's way into the Beckwith goal. Efforts from the front three of Martini, Carmelo Christiansen and Coalan Bray, arguably the stronger strikeforce in the league kept flying in, but Beyer continued his golden debut with montage of fantastic saves. It was against the run of play, however, when Zach Bone nodded in a header in the second half to double the home sides lead. A late Martini debut goal inspired a Beckwith comeback of sorts, but it was FC Chippenham who walked away as the winners.

In a goal packed match at Legacy Field, newly promoted Kensingtea Legacy will feel upset to have not got more against a Marlborough side who lacked an dynamic in defence. The game got off to a slow start against the roar of the Kensingtea fans, and it was them who had the first chance to cheer after Semar loanee, Innocent Kone ran through the dismal Marlborough defence to open the scoring. This marked the start of a mad 5 minutes for the game, with Rook Colfer capping off a Marlborough move that began at kickoff just moments earlier to level the score before Kone came back to score a second within the first half's stoppage time. The game continued manically as the second half began - Edmund Fairburn increasing the host's lead to two goals following a Royce Tyrell corner before Leo Janson scored just seconds later for the hosts and Colfer nabbed his second to tie the game at three-all on the hour mark. Despite a continued Legacy presence in the Marlborough half, it was Geoff Virgil (through a dubious penalty decision) who gained the winner for the Royals, denying Kensingtea the fairy-tale beginning they were hoping for.

New signing, Charlie Nelson, signed from Lavington looked like he had scored within two minutes of his debut, however his effort was ruled offside, despite the protests of the home fans. It was the away fans who had the first chance to cheer, however, after defender, Kenton Earls, rose highest to head in an Andy Blackburn corner. It wasn't until after halftime that Race Point got their mojo back, with Nelson powering through the Lavington defence to score a screamer on his Race Point debut before a Peter Wisdom free kick gave the home side a deserved victory.

Beckwith's title defence hit a further bump after a second straight defeat, this time at home against Lavington FC. Despite being one of the favourites to be relegated, Lavington took the lead after Harry Baldwin brought Andy Blackburn down in the box. Adrian Horne converted the penalty, sending Jarrett Gardner the wrong way, giving Lavington an unprecedented lead. The homeside fought back, with Sergio Martini and Andrew Swindlehurst coming close. However, it was Lavington who got the next goal - Adam Quickley's long range effort somehow sneaking it's way into the bottom left hand corner to assure Lavington FC of a famous victory.

Race Point looked to continue the momentum of their victory over Lavington FC when they visited Marlborough Royals. For a long time, it looked like it wouldn't happen - the usually fantastic Charlie Nelson looked quiet throughout and it was the homeside who came closest to taking the lead - both Nepharan striker, Rook Colfer and former Race Point frontman, Ben Honeysett having shots narrowly saved. Eventually, however, Race Point found their breakthrough, via summer arrival, Daniel Feuen. Receiving a long pass from Geoff Virgil, Freuen took the ball round three Marlborough defenders before chipping Luis Barton to submit an early entry in the goal of the season competition.

It was a capacity crowd that saw FC Chippenham take on Kensingtea Legacy. After much build-up, Zach Bone capped off an FC Chippenham move that involved nearly every member of their team and showed off the sides playmaking capabilities, leaving the Legacy defence both exhausted and red faced. For a while, it looked like that goal would be the winner - the Chippenham defence, lead by the excellent Peter Larsson at right back, were happy to let the Legacy attack come at them, though (with the exception of a ThankGod Anyamele effort) Legacy never looked likely to capitalise on their superior possession. However, Innocent Kone scored the most unlikely of goals - coming more off his shin than his foot to level the scores and give Kensingtea Legacy their first ever Super Six point.

Beckwith City received their first points of the season, though that did little to silence their discontent fans after a dismal performance. Despite boasting what is arguably the best side in the league, Legacy dominated Beckwith for the majority of the first half - and would have felt unlucky not to have taken the lead through an Innocent Kone shot that agonisingly brushed the post after a deflection off Alfie Powers. Legacy did eventually get their goal - Edmund Fairburn hitting it in from six yards after a scramble in the box. Unfortunately for Legacy, this seemingly awoke something up in the Beckwith side - and Sergio Martini, easily the side's best player in the SariLeague converted after Andrew Swindlehurst and Coalan Bray came close.

Race Point's fine start to the season came to a crushing end at the hands of FC Chippenham. FC Chippenham dominated throughout, and will be disappointed that their sole goal came in the fifth minute - a fantastic Leonard Duke strike that somehow made it into the roof of the net. Chippenham could have opened up a much wider lead throughout the game, with strikers Will Rimmer and Leonard Duke, along with Semar attacking midfielder, Deon Barringham all coming close on a number of occasions. However, in the end there was no real threat to their single goal lead.

As two rivals met at The Matterhorn, you wouldn't be surprised to hear that the match was a little heated. However, when Elijah Snyders - the star of the Marlborough defence - was given his marching orders after just six minutes, you can be excused for not putting money on it. Lavington seized on this advantage, and Adam Quickley scored on the rebound after his initial shot was saved. However, Marlborough played with fire in the belly and leveled twice after falling behind, Rook Colfer in the first instance and Ben Honeysett after Burton Castle once again gave Lavington the lead in the 64th minute.

SEASON SUMMARY

Mliona-Lpaka AFC - v. - Turoki Tide

The Tropical Trophy is a seasonal competition between the Vilitan Stellar Division Champions and Vilitan Cup Champions. There has been some controversy as to whether it is a "Season Ending" event or a "Season beginning" event, though it has tended to be closer to the start of the new season, then the end of the previous one.

For this seasons Tropical Trophy, The V-League Stellar Division and Vilitan Cup Champions (Turoki Tide) were invited to face off against the defending Vilitan Cup Champions (Mliona-Lpaka). It was the second time that the Tropical Trophy was contested between the two sides.

Vilitan/Turorian Dual National referee Nuliko Meteorik officiated the Tropical Trophy for the twelfth consecutive season.

:: The Match

For the 9th consecutive season, a team from Turoki City was represented in the Tropical Trophy. However, for just the second time in those nine seasons, that team was the Turoki Tide.

Entering the match it was already known that one team would be ending a long Tropical Trophy drought on the day. For the Turoki Tide, two time winners of the trophy but they hadn't won the Tropical Trophy since Season 33 having lost three times in the 18 seasons since. For Mliona-Lpaka they had tasted success more recently, 10 seasons prior during Season 41 in a memorable Tropical Trophy triumph over Strike FC.

The recent "Turoki Island v. Main Island" theme of the Tropical Trophy had been replaced by a "Turoki v. Turori" battle, at least for one season. Unfortunately there wasn't much to talk about during the match as it would reach full time scoreless. Mliona-Lpaka were playing a man down however and eventually that would make the difference as the Tide broke through after a feverish start to the extra session, the winner coming in the 3rd minute of the extra period. From that point the 'Tide relied on their Stalwart netminder Ondrej Cech to clear any danger and lead them on their way to their third Tropical Trophy.

The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali Ring. The Football Association regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy matchup. In addition to its World Cup matches, 'The Ring' hosted the 40th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup Final. The stadium was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict.

**First Season in Stellar Division

THROUGH MID-SEASON:

For the start of its Golden Season, the Vilitan League had a far different look than it had in the majority of the 49 prior editions. Of the 14 top flight clubs, just 6 were based on Vilita's Main Island. While Turoki City and Sile were typically represented by two-teams a piece, it was the Island Emirate of Turori that increased its presence in the top flight with the promotion of both Cedniavella and the Kionao Locals from the Declasse in Season 49. For the first time in the modern era, four Turorian sides would compete in the Vilitan Stellar Division.

However, while the Turorian sides were rejoicing just at the prospect of competing in the Stellar Division, a multitude of Vilitan clubs were preparing for the prospect of winning it. After equalling the lowest points haul in club history during Season 49, Mikala Abellan's Strike FC were looking to rebound in a big way. However, the open transfer market in the offseason did not provide the fruits that the Venom were looking for. While they spent time and energy chasing down big name players like Tiberius Hawk, they would eventually have to settle instead for some role filling youngsters in the form of Audioslavian midfielder Guillaume Abbracciabene, Winger Raimondo Montanari of AOCAF 50 champions Osarius and the experienced former Turorian National Team captain Klaillal Tuirma.

Not to be out done, on the other side of town at Lonngeylin Park, Lonngeylin Coast were stocking up for a run of their own, adding Turori National Team striker Inamara Altariiz and Vilitan midfielder Kamarul Zaman to their squad.

Despite their off-season acquisitions however, Lonngeylin Coast struggled from the outset and could not find the back of the net, seeing potential victories slip through their grasp and turn into draws. No team survived the opening 13 games to arrive at the halfway point unbeaten, though the defending champion Turoki Tide and Colonial Sile led the way joint top of the table with an 8-4-1 record and 28 points.

For Sile, it would be the second straight season they found themselves with a share of the top spot at the seasons halfway point but to date they have yet to capitalize on their fine start to the season with a strong second half that would catapult them to either a Stellar Division title or a Champions Cup qualifying position.

Rivalry Roundup ::
Turoki Tilt: The Turoki Community Complex was buzzing on Matchday 8 as the Turoki Tide, as the designated home team, took every opportunity to remind their rivals Turoki United that the Tide had re-claimed the Vilitan title one season prior. Even once the match kicked off, the Tide came out flying opening up a 1-0 lead after just 8 minutes. The Silvers did equalize on the half hour mark but the Turoki Tide fired back to re-claim the lead at the half. The Tide had the opportunity to double their lead in the second half but Jay Jay Jabez's penalty kick was stopped. It didn't matter in the end, as the champions proclaimed they were Tops in Turoki with their first-half win over their ground share rivals.

Cednia Clash: While not a true rivalry yet, when Cednia Beach visited Cednia Park on Matchday 2 it opened a new chapter in Turorian sport. While no one could tell if this rivalry would stand the test of time, all rivalries had to start somewhere. Promisingly, Cedniavella got off to a good start, twice taking the lead in their match against Cednia Beach. While the favored Coconuts would equalize both times, the 2-2 final result left the local fans of Cedniavella feeling proud of their team contesting their first ever season in the top flight.

Battle of Turori: Despite the presence of a second Cednian side in the top flight - as well as the Kionao Locals also returning to Stellar Division status, everyone knew that the real Turorian derby was still the match between Cednia Beach and Mliona-Lpaka. The two sides are seemingly unseparable in the standings, always finding each other and battling for a UICA Champions Cup place down to the last day. On this day, it was a strong defensive performance from both sides led by Cednia Beach defender Nikolai Aksenov and Mliona-Lpaka netminder Draugwe Nororon who would later be named Star of the Match in a goalless draw that was about what could be expected between the two inseparable sides.

Lonngeylin Derby: Lonngeylin Coast were shorthanded early at the Lonngeylin Coliseum as the inexperienced Sipke Tarala was baited into an argument with the far more experienced Vliela Lianksa. The referee was not watching when the altercation started but it had his full attention by the time Tarala shoved Lianksa, the Vilitan captain taking a slight tumble - down to a knee and Tarala shown a straight red card for not keeping his cool. Neither side could break through, however, and the match ended in a draw with the early altercation the days most exciting action.

Sile Showdown: The offseason had much promise for the two Sile clubs with Makosile adding support in the form of Quebecian Lorne Dunford, Brenecian Peter Uffington, and Sunrisian Zezinho as well as seeing Audioslavian Olly Masiku graduate from the Academy ranks. However, they were also suffering a downturn in form from key players like the aging Equestrian Rainbow Blitz and some questions between the sticks as they were still in search of a permanent replacement in goal for long time netminder Atacir Tivalan. Makosile fought valiantly at home but were overmatched but a Colonial Sile team led by Elexhe Nofzaleine that appeared more cohesive and more tactically prepared in a 2-1 result.

With 6 Games to play, the Turoki Tide and Strike FC had pulled a 4 point gap over Turoki United and Colonial Sile to lead the charge into the final stretch.

Things got even tighter at the Top on Matchday 22 as Strike were held 1-1 by Turoki United and Colonial Sile - uncharacteristically still in the race - thrashed relegation-threatened rivals Makosile 3-0 to move within a game of the level leaders.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 22:

For the first time all season, Strike FC jumped to the top of the table whilst denting Colonial Sile's title aspirations with a 2-1 victory at the Lonngeylin Coliseum on Matchday 23. Goals from Meldiita Mungwaii and Apple Cobbler thrust the home side into the lead. Jurvzen Devmiko pulled one back late for Colonial but it was not enough as they lost a true 'six-pointer' to the leaders to fall 6 points back, blowing their chance to move joint top. Lonngeylin Coast continued to keep pace in the hunt for the final Champions Cup place by defeating Makosile 3-0 putting the Makos on the brink of relegation for the first time in the modern era. The Makos, sitting 13th in the table, had now fallen into a 'must win' scenario, 6 points behind Inland Peaks with 3 games to play.

It was a day of 'staying alive' in Sile however on Matchday 24 as Colonial Sile stayed in the hunt by defeating the Yeaddin Owls 2-1 at Colonial Field while leaders Strike were held 1-1 by Lonngeylin Coast and the Turoki Tide were downed 1-0 by their rivals Cednia Beach AFC. Across town, Makosile, in a must-win scenario, defeated Rammsissil 1-0 while bottom side Kionao Locals - fighting for their own survival, upended Inland Peaks closing the relegation gap to just 3 points with two games to play.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 24:

A victory on the penultimate matchday for Strike FC would all but re-claim them the title. However, in front of their home fans, the Venom came out flat and it was the visitors Rammsissil who opened the scoring in the 48th minute. Strike struggled to create good quality chances and only drew level through Santos Alaminos 86th minute penalty kick. The match would end 1-1 opening up the door for the rest of the pack.

At the Turoki Community Complex, Ondrej Cech had little to do in net for the Turoki Tide as bottom side Kionao Locals managed just a single shot on goal in the 3-0 defeat that saw the Tide pull to within one point of the leaders. Over in Cednia, an early run of good form had come to an end for newly promoted Cedniavella and they were upended again as Elexhe Nofzaleine scored the winner for the Colonials as they too stayed in the title contention 2 points behind Strike going into the final matchday. Despite the defeat, it was still a good day for Cedniavella as their cross-town rivals Cednia Beach AFC had defeated Makosile by a 2-0 scoreline thanks to goals from Kryhata Calanndi and Va'a-Rio Kiwavyn to ensure Cedniavella's status as a Stellar Division side for another season.

There were no goals at the Iobabao as Mliona-Lpaka and Turoki United played out a goalless draw, allowing Lonngeylin Coast and Eastal Lunar each to leapfrog the Silvers and move into the UICA Globe Cup qualifying places.

THE DECISIVE FINISH:

With three teams fighting for the title on the final matchday, the culmination of the 50th Vilitan League season was set up to be one of the most exciting matchdays in recent Vilitan history. Nothing was decided at either end of the table. In fact, despite the fact that the title was still on the line, one of the most exciting fixtures of the day promised to be squareley at the bottom of the table. With Kionao Locals and Makosile deadlocked on 17 points, the two sides would clash at Kionao Minor Field to end the season. A draw would doom both teams, sending them down to the Declasse for Season 51. However, if either side should pull off the win it would mean almost certain safety as Inland Peaks, just 3 points clear in 12th place, were hosting defending Stellar Division champions Turoki Tide who would most certainly be more than motivated to perform on the day.

If that weren't enough, the two other championship contenders would find themselves stuck squarely in the midst of a battle for the Turorian Champions Cup place with Cednia Beach hosting leaders Strike and Mliona-Lpaka traveling to Colonial Sile. Finally, Turoki United would host Eastal Lunar in a winner-take-all battle at the Turoki Community Complex with the prize being a spot in the UICA Globe Cup. Incredibly, the only match that was truly irrelevant on the Final Matchday of the 50th Stellar Division season was the fixture between Rammsissil and the Yeaddin Owls. While a victory for the Owls would see them leap ahead of the Ramms for 9th place, there are no special rewards or rejections that could be claimed regardless of which team finished in which position - the reward in that match was 'only' for pride.

Seven games. Six critically important to deciding the Champion, The Relegated and the UICA qualifiers. Watching screens were being projected all across the land as fans and social venues across Vilita & Turori struggled to ensure they could screen all the matches simultaneously.

Leaders Strike were dealt an early blow at the Cednia Beach Centre as Farfalalian defender Santos Alaminos hobbled off the pitch inside 10 minutes and forced Mikala Abellan into using the first of his substitutes, limiting his options for the remainder of the match. The first goal of the day would come not inside the Championship battle but in the secondary fight for the UICA places. Sipke Tarala was set free thanks to a well-timed long ball over the top from Chromatikan teammate Luuk Aart to put Lonngeylin Coast up early over Cedniavella, a result that if it stood would lock Coast into the top 4. Coast would strike again minutes later through Nubara Moafilia to double their advantage and all secure their place in the UICA Globe Cup.

About 30 minutes into the day, the first truly meaningful goal was scored, this time with immediate impact on both the Title Race and the Relegation Battle. With one kick the entire picture changed as the Turoki Tide took a 1-0 lead over Inland Peaks, catapulting them to the top of the live table and putting the Peaks in grave threat of relegation should a goal be scored in Kionao. The news was especially dire for Colonial Sile whose only hope at capturing the title was if both Strike and the 'Tide failed to win on the day. Then, at the stroke of Half time, Colonial were back in the mix as incredibly Inland Peaks netted an equalizer against the run of play from a stoppage time free kick. 45 minutes in and the live table had returned to exactly how it had looked at the start of the day.

Anticipation was high across the land for the final 45 minutes of the season. Five, Ten, Fifteen minutes went by without any news. With so much on the line in so many games, teams were playing more hesitant than usual, cancelling each other out and failing to make hay. Then, in the final half hour of the day, things finally started to break - and in an unlikely place. Back in Lonngeylin, Cedniavella were gifted a penalty thanks to a careless handball from Tlikao Muratai and cut their deficit in half. Minutes later, groans on Turoki Island as Strike FC broke through against Cednia Beach, a dominating header from Tarek Edgeli had all the Coconuts beat and put Strike into unreachable territory for their rivals. Even if Colonial and Turoki Tide could muster a goal at this point, it wouldn't matter if Cednia Beach didn't level the score.

The excitement and anticipation all came to its conclusion in the 80th minute of the days action when Cednia Beach captain Yoains Konoaafeo took down Hera Teltholsyr inside the box. Konoaafeo was shown a straight red for the two-footed challenge with Teltholsyr skillfully tapping the ball out of the Turorian's reach before tumbling to the ground. With the title on his foot, it was Starblaydi born Benjamin Koenig who secured Strike FC's 21st Stellar Division title. Not to be outdone, Teltholsyr got on the scoresheet 3 minutes from time to put the result beyond doubt.

At the other end of the table, Kionao Locals and Makosile did exactly what they didn't want to do - but couldn't help it. Neither team was willing to sacrafice themselves for the sake of their opposition, and at the end of the day, the goalless draw would see both teams relegated. For Makosile it would mean the end of a 35-season stay in the Stellar Division. However, the Makos were already posted as clear even money favorites to win the Declasse Division and an immediate return to the top flight in Season 51.

Turoki Tilt: 1st Half (Turoki Tide 2-1 Turoki United)
Despite losing Juuka Lindroos in the first half to a straight red card, Turoki United kept the Turoki Tide off the scoresheet as the defending champions were mired in a string of 6 consecutive draws that would ultimately cost them in their quest to defend the Stellar Division title. They would still call the season a success however, not least of which due to their unbeaten status against Turoki United.

Cednia Clash: 1st Half (Cedniavella 2-2 Cednia Beach)
While defending Declasse Champions Cedniavella held their own impressively on home turf on Matchday 2, the return fixture put them in a bit of a different environment. At the home of the most succesful club in the history of the Island Emirate - the very club that many of their own supporters often spent their Sundays as 'casual fans' - especially when some of the big name clubs came to town either in the Vilitan League or International Club competitions - Cedniavella were reminded of their place in the pecking order in Turori's Sunny City. The Coconuts took a 1-0 lead into the half and put the match out of reach in the second half when Schottian substitute Heron Crew converted on a quick ball placed across the goal by Kryhatta Calanndi. Despite the defeat on the day, Cedniavella would achieve a bigger goal - safety and a place in the Stellar Division for Season 51, ensuring that, for at least another season, this rivalry would have a chance to continue to develop.

Battle of Turori: 1st Half (Cednia Beach 0-0 Mliona-Lpaka)
With the first match ending in a draw, it was all on the line at the Iobabao Legendary Park and it was the visitors who took advantage after it seemed the game was destined for yet another goalless draw. As full time neared, Cednia Beach pressed forward and a through ball from Heron Crew caused dangers that were eventually dealt clumsily with by the Mliona-Lpaka defense. The Referee had a tough decision to make but in the end, the penalty kick was awarded and converted giving Cednia Beach a 1-0 victory and the title of Turori's best, finishing the season unbeaten against all 3 Island Emirate opposition including two victories over the Kionao Locals who would eventually be relegated.

Lonngeylin Derby: 1st Half (Jungle Strike FC 0-0 Lonngeylin Coast)
With the first match ending in a draw, many were hoping for a more exciting affair at Lonngeylin Park and both clubs were looking for a victory to boost their title challenges. It looked like the fans were going to be disappointed as no goals were scored in the first half but the urgency began to rise in the second half and culminated in Nili Ylimaiina's breakthrough goal on the hour mark, being fed through by Lopaki Kilpter and then tapping the ball just over the on-rushing Cilamara Issah to put Strike in the lead. Not to be outdone, however, some good play from Sipke Tarala found Inamara Altariiz in space inside the box and the Turorian star made no mistake firing a low ball that Viliaka O'Connor had no chance saving as the Lonngeylin Derby would go unsettled for Season 50.

Sile Showdown: 1st Half (Colonial Sile 2-1 Makosile)
As the Stellar Division season wore down, Makosile were staring into the eyes of a dire fate. One season removed from setting a Stellar Division record for most draws in a single season, the Makos were wishing they could be back in a rhythm of collecting a point each match as they were averaging less than that as they struggled to secure single-goal victories or even hold on to a draw late in a match. This day at Colonial Field, however, they didn't have the chance to do either as Colonial Sile took an early lead through Elexhe Novzaleine with them into the half time break then added two more goals to the scoresheet in the second half to run out 3-0 winners over their rival, perhaps putting the final nail into the coffin and helping to send the Makos down to the Declasse Division for the first time in the modern era - potentially putting the Sile Showdown on a temporary hiatus.

Vilitan Cup Final:

For the second season running, the defending Vilitan Cup champions were out early. However, for the first time in Vilitan Cup history, neither of the previous seasons Vilitan Cup Finalists had even advanced beyond the Pod Stage. Both Mliona-Lpaka AFC and Tivali United - last seasons surprise runners up whose dream season included promotion to the Declasse Division and a penalty defeat in the Vilitan Cup Final, crashed out at the first stage. Add on top of that the failure of Strike FC to advance from the Pod stage for just the third time in their history and the field was wide open with many clubs eyeing a chance to lift silverware.

In the end, it was high-flying Lonngeylin Coast advancing to their first ever Cup Final after ousting Season 34 champions Colonial Sile and two-time winners Turoki Tide outlasting Rammsissil to claim the other place in the final. Rammsissil have established themselves as a bit of a cup specialist in recent seasons, building upon two straight Quarter-Final appearances to make their second appearance in the Semi-Finals and despite not making the final, will see their performance as progress particularly as it will have resulted in their qualification to the UICA Globe Cup.

With both the Turoki Tide and Lonngeylin Coast having narrowly missed out on the Stellar Division title on the final matchday, the two were forced to pick up the pieces and recover quickly to try to make amends in the Cup Final. With the Tide having already claimed the Tropical Trophy to start the season, perhaps Lonngeylin Coast were the more motivated side going into the tide. Lonngeylin Coast were also the in-form side having gone the entire second half of the Stellar Division season without losing a match.

Ondrej Cech and Cilamara Issah lead their teams out of the tunnel and onto the pitch in what many expected could be a high scoring match between two attack-minded teams. However, the Turoki Tide had struggled to score goals down the stretch in the Stellar Division suffering a multitude of low-scoring draws and would be without rising star Poloax Torerun in their starting eleven as the Vilitan youngster was still nursing an injury suffered in training.

Looking like a player twice as experienced, Sipke Tarala's stock continued its upward trajectory when he put Lonngeylin Coast in the lead on 32 minutes with a highlight-reel quality volley. After clinching the Stellar Division's golden boot, the young Vilitan had put his side ahead going into the half time break and Lonngeylin Coast were just 45 minutes away from their first ever major domestic trophy.

The second half started off in controversial fashion as Cilamara Issah appeared to clip the legs of Cavuna Aquafek inside the box as the Turoki Tide midfielder attempted to get a clear shot on goal. Perhaps the referee saw a touch on the ball or a bit of embellishment on the part of Aquafek but he waved play on much to the dismay of the Tide players, staff and supporters. As the game approached its final half hour there was a clear sense of urgency from the Tide, taking more shots and creating more opportunities. While some of the chances were a bit ambitious and not well thought out, they finally had the break they needed in the 73rd minute beating Issah to the short side and levelling the score at 1-1.

Three minutes of added time could not settle the score and the teams had a short break before resuming for the extra 30 minute period. Both goalkeepers had been splendid up until that point, each allowing just the one goal.

Lonngeylin Coast appeared to have the slightly fresher legs at the break as the Tide were slower to the sideline for their pre-extra time team talk and instructions.

The energy in the crowd began to build as the extra-time period kicked off and the Vilitan Cup was drawing nearer to its conclusion. Despite looking tired at the break, the Turoki Tide came out guns blazing in the extra time period and forced Cilamara Issah into a spectacular save within 30 seconds of play resuming. Nothing would come from the resultant corner kick as the danger was quickly cleared by Luuk Aart. It would be the best opportunity of the opening 15 minutes and the teams would switch sides in one last attempt to settle the scores before needing a penalty shootout.

The Tide controlled much of the possession as the match wore on but both sides seemed to be running on tired legs and the goalkeepers were quick to swallow up any ball that entered the 18 yard back, making no hesitations in clearing to safety.

As the final minutes of extra time played out, it was clear that the match would be decided in a penalty shootout.

Cavuna Aquafek started things off for the Turoki Tide with a goal but Nubara Moafalia responded for Coast.

After the Turoki Tide went up 2-1 in the shootout, up stepped star Turorian strike Inamari Altariiz for Coast. Altariiz fired his effort just over the cross bar and into the stands as Ondrej Cech pumped his fist in the air, despite having gone completely the wrong direction had the shot gone on target.

With his team down, Cilamara Issah stepped up in a big way and completely quashed all the momentum the Tide had just gained with a comfortable save. With a chance to bring the shootout back level, Luuk Aart would make no mistake. The score was tied again after three rounds, and then again after four with both teams converting their fourth spot kick.

The match had ended 1-1 and now the shootout was tied 3-3. It was down to the fifth shooter for each side and true sudden death. With the Tide converting their fifth kick Lonngeylin Coast needed to score in response or the match would be over. It was Rumble with the chance but once again the nerves crept in and the ball flew over the bar. The Turoki Tide players mobbed each other in the center of the field as the Lonngeylin Coast squad lay with head in hands on the pitch in disbelief. The Turoki Tide were Vilitan Cup Champions.

The under-matched Terrarokka Spirit surprised many by topping the Tropicorp Lower League table ahead of what many considered the strongest Tropicorp Lower League field in the history of the competition. After narrowly missing out on the top 4 the previous two seasons, pre-season favorites Nusira Lionta squeezed into fourth place to punch their ticket to Tropicoast along with fellow favorites Irottea and Turoki Isle.

A late season charge by Sokattack Mliona came up short as the Turorian side finished with the third best goal differential in the competition but landed 6th in the final table and will have to try to establish their position again next season. Two Turorian teams were relegated with Kionao Koastal once again suffering the drop to become the most relegated team in Tropicorp Lower League history, being relegated for the third time. Inura Forests completed their fall from grace with a 29th place finish in the standings.

Champions Cup: Lonngeylin Coliseum, Lonngeylin, Vilita (115,500 Seated) - 141,000 Standing Room

Home of the Vilitan Stellar Division champions, Jungle Strike FC, Lonngeylin Coliseum is the biggest sporting arena in the Vilitan Cove and was chosen exactly for this purpose. Not so much 'butts in seats' - because almost one-third of the estimated attendees would be standing on the Vilitan hillside, but the capacity to hold large volumes was just one of the perks to holding the match in Lonngeylin.

One of the oldest yet most expansive stadiums in Vilita, the stadium has undergone several renovations, name changes and expansions in its long history, which included being a knockout venue for the World Cup 17 and 31 finals. Most notably, the seated sections of the Coliseum went through a complete overhaul between League Seasons 25-35 where sections were closed incrementally for upgrades. The Coliseum is known for its unique hillside accommodation which enhances one of the most impressive match atmospheres in the region.

Most famously, however, the Lonngeylin Coliseum was the venue for the World Cup 59 final that pitted The Babbage Islands against Aguazul. It was an epic championship final with the two sides fighting to a goalless draw after extra time before Aguazul triumphed in the shootout for their historic third consecutive World Cup title. The facilities at the Lonngeylin Coliseum had been upgraded over the year to handle the over-capacity crowd and extended match timeline. The venue was also selected for the Vilitan half of the "Battle of Turori" - when Vilita & Turori were drawn against each other during World Cup 64 Qualifying.

Typically, only the Jungle Strike FC or Vilita National Team 'home' fans are allowed in the south and east areas, which include both hillside seating and open hillside that can accommodate an approximately 30,000 additional fans beyond the seated capacity - depending on how far away from the stadium they wish to prop themselves. Away fans are always seated in the west grandstand. The hosting of a neutral tournament event at the arena will allow visiting fans to experience 'home' accomodations for the first time.

The Lonngeylin Coliseum is a former UICA host site, having previously successfully hosted the 47th UICA Champions Cup Final.

Turori (TUR) final site bids

Series B Champions Cup: Eels Park, Eelandii (capacity 68,000)

The Eels Park arena in "Eelandii" - A purpose-created hybrid city located between the capital of Almintora and the center of sport in Cednia, was opened for the World Cup 63 Finals hosted in Turori as well as Aguazul. The Arena has since hosted matches during the 26th Di Bradini Cup and due to its moderate size is one of the most atmospheric venues in all of Turori. Turorian National Team matches not being held in Cednia have also been held at Eels Park instead of Almintora National Stadium.

Already the new center for sport in Turori, the purpose built village of Eelandii also features a Grand Prix racing course home to Vilita & Turori Motorsports Research & Development department, an Ice Hockey arena that also serves as a multi-purpose venue as well as an Eagle's Club facility. Eelandii would be a fitting host for the UICA Champions Cup final given the modern infrastructure and high density of sporting amenities in the region.

Located equidistantly between the cities of Almintora and Cednia - the two largest cities in the Island Emirate, round the clock public transportation can take guests from Eelandii to either city center. For those dedicated to the sports theme they can stay locally in Eelandii. Clubs participating in the Champions Cup final will be allowed to train ahead of the event at the Turori National Training facility located in the village of Eelandii.

Non-UICA final site bids

Cygnus Cup: Tivali Ring Stadium, Alikki-Corra, Vilita (87,000 Seated)

The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali Ring. The Football Association regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy matchup. In addition to its World Cup matches, 'The Ring' hosted the 40th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup Final. The stadium was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict.

Tropicorp Park is home to the Tropicorp Cup, the four team, 2 day grand-finale of the Tropicorp Lower League. The competition has served as an outstanding warmup to test the hospitality available at Tropicorp Park, and was critical in the build up to the decision to allow the finals of the Eagle's Cup V competition to take place in Tropicorp, the first major international competition of any kind to be held in Tropicoast.

The Black Dragons are back, baby! Humiliating the clubs of Omerica’s largest city and crushing their dreams into a fine powder, Royal Michaeltown have found their groove again and translated it into another Omerican title. United Philibiscostal finish in second place yet again, while Corona Christiana put up a disappointing title defence in the light of a near-unblemished season two years ago. Royal Martecabras return to lower mid-table form and Ticomaca Nationale return to the top flight after a play-off triumph.

FC New Cardiff and Westminster City have been relegated from Primerliig, with FC Alopiana (league champions) and Ticomaça Nationale (play-off winners) promoted in their place. FC Peterborough have been relegated from Försteliig, with Cathair Doire (league champions) promoted in their place. Series B Champions’ Cup 61/Youth Cup 16: Prins Mikäel Pärk, Port Michael (capacity 40,000)

Named after the Soltese Prince Michael IV, the man who chartered the city of Mikäelpoort, Prins Mikäel Pärk in the Jan Ändrassen Memorial Sports Complex plays home to Royal Michaeltown, one of the dominant powers of Omerican football’s modern era. The stadium boasted food vendors, free Wi-Fi and a gorgeous view of the Aurentine Bay that Port Michael sits neatly upon. With easy connections on Port Michael’s bus and metro systems and the added bonus of not being home to any potential SBCC finalists, Prins Mikäel Pärk has successfully hosted the finals of Esportiva’s club championships, numerous Omerican World Cup home qualifiers and the Black Dragons’ home league and cup games.

The city sits on the coast of Saint Andrew’s Bay, located almost centrally on the coast of the canton of Kalsden, and contains the vast bulk of Kalsden’s population. A historical, but not otherwise notable, city, Port Michael is blessed with mild winters and warm, but not particularly unbearable, summers and serves as a sort of microcosm that presents a vibrant cultural community representing the cosmopolitan nature of the Omerican federation, blending the best of disparate cultures and the best of modern and historic. Thanks to generous government grants to theatre, dance, cinema and art galleries on both the Commonwealth and cantonal level, Port Michael hosts a disproportionate number of museums and cultural events for its population and plays the part of centre to the vibrant Aurentine music festival and techno culture that travelling fans will be able to enjoy, as well as a world-class public transport and rail system to get to wherever they need to go.
CEdC 21: Arena la Rouge, Philibiscostal (capacity 66,000)

Named after Jean-Jacques la Rouge, the founder of the city of Philibiscostal, the Arena la Rouge is the hallowed ground of Omerican football (perhaps unless you are a Corona Christiana supporter). “The Crown Jewel”, as it is affectionately called by the locals, is best known for playing home to United Philibiscostal, the most decorated club in modern Omerican football history, along with the finals of the Federation Cup, Omerica’s national knockout cup. The stadium also plays home to the Turanga ʻAhipula ʻo ʻOmerika, the governing body of Omerican football, and hosts most home games of the Omerican national side.

Blood-gushing Omericans will drone on with tales of the stadium’s history, having hosted memorable international games against Nephara, Quebec and Nova Anglicana and the Federation Cup final that put Royal Michaeltown on the map. The amenities of the stadium, including numerous restaurants and a nature trail right outside the near-sea stadium and free Wi-Fi within it, are also a point of pride to the locals. Fans and players will also be able to enjoy the retractable roof, several lounges within the stadium grounds and air-conditioning and heating in the case of extremely hot or cold weather, real possibilities in Omerica.

An all-seater stadium since its reinauguration in 2010, the stadium is located in the peripheral Côte Rouge district and enjoys its own station on the Philibiscostal Metro leading to just outside the gates. With travel time between the stadium and the centre of the city being about twelve minutes on the Metro and a number of bus links connecting the stadium to the Arthur Bates International Airport and restaurants and hotels around Omerica’s largest city, players and fans will be able to enjoy a city-wide infrastructure that has been waiting forever to host something.

Thirty-two teams from the Unified Sunrise Islands play each team of the league twice, once home and once away. Wins are worth three points, Draws are worth one point. On the event of tied points, the following criteria will serve as tiebreakers: goal difference, goals for, head-to-head wins, head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head goals for and wins. The bottom four teams are relegated to the division under their original division on the pyramid, exception being for the Division G2. Additionally, the top half of the Sunrisian Championship - Division A qualify to the playoffs. Division A's regular champion qualifies to the Champions' Cup.

SECOND ROUND - THE PLAYOFFS

The Top Sixteen teams from Unified Sunrise play for the other spot as National Champions. The Winner of the Playoffs follow the Regular Season champion on the Champions' Cup. Other UICA and non-UICA tournaments follow the results on this part of the season.
