Rokkestaat, Ekoz - The STE brings you a fabulous show from Rokkestaat tonight where the final of Melodiefestivålen , the national final of Ekoz for the WorldVision Song Contest, was broadcast by STE from Rokkestaathaal. Hosted by none other than Alfaans, a previous representative for Ekoz in the WorldVision Song Contest, ten finalists will compete for both the public and international jury vote to become winner of MelodieFestivålen, and the Ekozian representative at the 48th edition of WorldVision.

In the final of MelodieFestivålen , 50% of the points are awarded by the viewers and 50% by a jury that consists of different jury groups. The viewers allot a total number of points, the same amount of points as the jury groups allotted. The jury groups this year came from the following countries: NNN: Normandy & Picardy,

Voting consists of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and the maximum 12 points

Britonisea and Estogium will reveal their entries tomorrow in a show THE BIG REVEAL. Britonisea hopes to maintain the title, while Estogium seeks it's first win.

Also, I've handed away rights to another pre-party host. It's up to them on who will host WV49 Pre Party.

"Hello and welcome to the short segment <<THE BIG REVEAL>> Where we will find out who is representing Estogium and who is representing Britonisea at the upcoming WorldVision Song Contest in god-knows where. First up we have Estogium, but let's find out more about our artist before we go in to the song." The host smiled.

This edition, Estogium will be represented by Ellie Morgent who represented the country in the 24th WorldVision Song Contest in Caen, Normandy and Picardy. Ellie Morgent was 3rd to perform out of 12 nations, and although quite highly expected to win, came 7th with 9 points. Ellie thought that she did very well in Caen, and thought that it was of high standard. She says she aims to do better in the WorldVision Song Contest with her song Not My Speciality which is a dance/electropop song which is intended to get you in your feet! ESTV wil be broadcasting the event for Estogium.

Britonisea will be represented by Amedeo Arjan, a well known personality in Britonisea and in Estogium alike. Amedeo Arjan will hope to maintain the country's win in WorldVision 47 and hopes to bring the country it's third win. Amedeo Arjan says that this would be an opportunity "like no other" and that he will take "every opportunity within grasps reach." Amedeo will be singing a song called Parrot-talk which speaks about living with mental disabilities and the parrot is the constant person telling you to do the wrong things in life. The song is also about addiction and how addiction can link to you being hospitalised. BVC will be broadcasting the event for Britonisea.

DTV confirms Dreamplanet's participation in the 48th WorldVision Song Contest, making it the 9th time Dreamplanet has participated in WorldVision, DTV will be wishing to improve on their 12th place finish, so they have sent Sara Adina, with her song I've fallen for you.

Sara Adina is 23 years old, she was born in Libon, Dreamplanet. She always had a keen eye for music and enjoyed watching WorldVision, her dream was to participate in the song contest, and now with her new song, DTV have allowed her to join WorldVision 2003.

I've always wanted to be in WorldVision, i've seen many of the great nations take part, but i want to help Dreamplanet be one of those nations.

Dreamplanet's best position ever was 4th place in WorldVision 45 in the Sarian in 2000. They came 12th place in 1998 and in last year's edition aswell they came 12th.
The reigning Champion is Britonisea, who won with 139 points ahead of Ekoz.

Sara Adina will be hoping to have a good contest in 2003, she will be accompanied by whoever wins Qualification For WorldVision which is taking part before the contest.

sixaxis has won SoundVision Festival #3 with the song, "Heartbreak", The Anturian national selection, winning with 54 points, 16 points ahead from Abdillah Wirasatya, and therefore, sixaxis will represent Antahbrantahstan at WorldVision Song Contest.

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

sixaxis was formed exactly 3 years ago in Antahbrantahstan, the band's first single, "six" topped the Anturian charts for 7 weeks, after that, the band went on hiatus before they surprised the whole Antahbrantahstan by participating (and winning) SoundVision Festival, the band members, however, declined to say the reason for their hiatus, simply stating that they are "hibernating". The band is signed to libertymusic.
