To be honest I have this problem sometimes too. If I have to search for more than half an hour I just resort to a text based description. But unless I'm looking to play up or subvert a trope, appearance tends to come after everything else.

Class / Role: Combat Engineer
Name: Putra Adiwiyata
Rank: Korporal/OR-4
Age: 23
Experience: 1 year of deployment overseas
Height and Weight: 179 cm and 80 kg (5.87 ft and 176 lb)
Appearance:
Image

Bio: A simple young man who grew up in Eastern Java, Indonesia, he grew up during a time when the SEAMF were no longer as violent as they were before, with barely any corrupt government officials to be hunted down. His mother passed on during his youth, and he had been raised by his father throughout his childhood. The two were very close, and the man would always take Putra to the garage he worked at to make taking care of him easier, and to teach him the ways of the trade.

Putra was always fond of repairing things because of this, learning how to fix a car and generally the tools around the garage. He was a bright student, with the potential for greater achievements in his life. Following the death of his father however, his grades started to lower. He was taken in by his aunt, who, although kind, was not able to meet to the expectations of an orphaned Putra Adiwiyata. He studied less often, often wasting his time trying to tinker with things that would end up failing due to his emotions unable to gather together.

Unable to receive a scholarship after passing high school, he had trouble while continuing his college education as he and his aunt didn't have the money to support it. It was during this downtime did he find something to make his life have purpose once more. A picture from his father's collection, which his aunt had showed him to try and cheer him up. Inside was a single photo that he now keeps with him to this very day; his father was once a military man.

Finding a new purpose to continue his father's legacy, he decided to enlist for the armed forces, which would also help him in paying for his college education later on. To this, he joined the Cavalry Corps, specifically Batalyon Kavaleri 3 based in Malang, East Java. Finishing his training at the top of his class, he further volunteered for the Garuda Contingent, Indonesia's UN peacekeeping force, and successfully passed the trial examinations to be sent overseas. He served a year in the Middle East, eventually getting called upon to Europe itself with the rest of the UN forces, to help with the chaotic situation and help police the civilians into safer areas.
Personality: A general nice guy who's always willing to make someone's day.
Weaknesses: Has little to no experience in fighting aliens, considering he's trained for peacekeeping, and has only joined a single combat action during his time in the Middle East. Also has a hard time choosing between difficult choices, trying to keep himself in a state that doesn't support one side more than the other.
Skills: Demolitions, engineering, the usual.
RP Example: Hi

Nonobligatory
Likes: Homemade food, rock music, taking care of children
Dislikes: Unnecessary violence
Hobbies: Fixing things, trying to cook food
Theme Song: Unaligned - Nathan Sharp
Discipline: 8
Devotion: 8
Riskiness: 4
Languages Spoken: Indonesian, English, Arabic, Mandarin, (Basic) Dutch
Tastes: Spicy
Voice: -TBA-
Family: His wife, Sutra Nuralisa

So are we going the XCOM 2 route and revamping the ETs forces, or are we reusing the old ones?

Alright, stamped my finalization on my app. Bio and Skills section updated, if we're going X-Com you can be sure where Miyuki would be useful in!

Without too many spoilers, the old ones won't be reused, but the RP will have some differences from XCOM 2. Just to keep the colors fresh.

A Nepalese flag can fit in the tiny spot right?

Class / Role:Scout
Name:Sajit Rai
Rank: Corporal
Age:28
Experience: The Royal Gurkha Rifles (2014-2021), ATHENA (2021-)
Height and Weight:5 feet 7 inches, 170 lbs
Appearance:Visual Aid
Bio: Born in Nepal to a Sherpa and a self employed rug maker, Sajit received the typical education that anyone his age would, and proceeded to set his sight on something he could obtain easily, and proceeded to volunteer as a Gurkha in the British army in 2014. He succeeded with one of the highest ratings in his class of cadets. In the next three months he became one of the 176 who would become Gurkhas.

In mid 2015, he engaged in a firefight with Al-Qaeda insurgents in Afghanistan, the resulting fight was quick, with Sajit and his fellows emerging victorious with nary a single casualty. The morale of him and his friends he'd made in his unit tanked a bit when news of the earthquake back home arrived. Although with the efforts put in to aid his home by the rest of the world, renewed his hope in humanity and his efforts to pay them back my removing the terrorist threat in the middle-east improved two-fold.

He continued this pattern for the next five years until it came such a time that ATHENA needed new recruits, and the RGR were offering. He passed the induction process, and he was transferred to Oosterscheldekering. Where his first engagement with the alien foe was in the Rocky Mountains. Not only did he do exceptionally well, but he managed to beat a CQC oriented alien species at it's own game, gaining his first Kukri kill of the alien invasion.

Although he was usually the one to enter the most dangerous of situations, he was not once wounded beyond the simple cut bruise or gash, making him one of a very few amongst ATHENA. Currently he is carving a swath, trying to find someone else alive in this godforsaken mess.
Personality:Happy, calm, unyielding.
Weaknesses:He's a bit foolhardy, tends to bum rush bigger opponents.
Skills: He's a Gurkha, so he can damn near breath in space, and he can knife fight a raptor and win.
RP Example: Y u do dis
Likes: Stabbing terrorist/aliens repeatedly, croissants, a decent cigar.
Dislikes:Aliens, beef, rain, everyone who kills people wantonly.
Hobbies: Decapitating Al-Qaeda, executing train robbers, head hunting.
Theme Song:Rayden - Now U're Fucked
Discipline: 8
Devotion: 10
Riskiness: 11
Languages Spoken: Nepali, Punjab, English, Farsi.
Tastes: Cold water, Coca-Cola, anything edible (that isn't beef)
Voice: Meh
Family:His parents in Nepal.

Spent a lot of time around Dr. Suess books when Wolfram was relearning how to read, found them kinda enlightening since he hadn't seen many children's books before. He isn't actively searching them out to read, but if he finds one he'll probably hoard it to hand out to a kid later on.

As for Mr. Rogers... Entertainment in Afghanistan is limited, there were a lot of TV reruns in the ISAF bases. He likes the guy because he's teaching kids how not to be assholes.

They're both currently in ATHENA. And Sajit joined mid Invasion as the second wave of recruits.

He's in.

So I got asked about multiclassing a char, which I hadn't considered before. Yes, you can, on two conditions.

1) It makes at least a little sense (e.g., you don't try and pair a Pilot with a Medic because most of the time the Pilot is going to be too busy piloting to do any medicing)
2) If you multiclass, you don't get a second char.

So if you decide you want to multiclass instead of having a second char, you can back out one of yours now no prob.
