Besides fusion and nuclear we commonly use solar and hydro and wind.
We are not an apolcypse themed nation anymore read my factbook. I barley follow nation states stats. We are an Empire that gives civil rights and there no problem with that. We are advanced and would like anyone who wants to be friends to telegram us.

We harness various power sources since we are a galactic empire spanning many galaxies but here's a few sources we use in no particular order.

Dyson Spheres

Geo-thermal plants

Quasar Collecters

Magnetar Collecters

Black Hole Generators

Universe Energy Siphon:
a device that siphons off all the physical and non-physical matter of a parallel universe then converted into pure energy that powers anything from homes to spaceships.

Dark hour conversion:
a method that uses a small micro alien species that converts other alien species from physical matter into pure energy then putting them into small glass viles that are then used to power things such as exo-skeletons.

Fusion mainly, with solar and natural gas on the smaller islands where a large reactor isn't practical.
National Parliament/Congress is called the Alþing. Each of the 18 constituent republics has its own Þing. Our national head leader is called the "Lawgiver".
We speak an language called Yggandan or Pacific Norse. The latter name hints at our background- descendents of Norse settlers that didn't just reach Vinland, but crossed the ithsmus of Panama and struck out for the Pacific! (Not the most realistic scenario, but I don't really care).

Mostly nuclear fusion (>80%) and 10% solar, but there are a growing number of neutronium annihilation plants that convert mass into energy with almost perfect efficiency.

A project in the early planning stage aims to fill the outer orbit of our stellar system with solar reflectors, the first step on a century-long path to the construction of a Dyson Sphere. Currently, a ring of heliostats in high orbit focuses sunlight on receiving stations out in the ocean (where an accidental misalignment won't melt a giant hole into the landscape).

Nuclear Fusion, Coal, Wood, Oil, Gas.

In the tundras of Siberia, solar power plants are being set up currently, but their reliability is a controvesy due to the polar nights.

We have a mixed energy economy, without reliance on one particular source. However, we have recently phased out fossil fuels for electricity generation, and we do not use nuclear power (though we are researching cheaper and more efficent fusion reactors). Most of our power is solar and wind, and we have contributions from wave, geothermal, biofuel and hydroelectric.

The Empire has practically eliminated the use of coal, petrol and gas power generators and replaced them with clean sources, such as:
-Wind Power
-Solar Power
-Biomass and Biofuel (to replace petrol/oil and gas as fuels)
-Nuclear Power
-Geothermal Power (only available in some areas)
All posts are made by the Kovrukan Ministry of External Inteligence. The Emperor will interact with other nations through the aforementioned organism.

Coal maintains a majority of power production at 51% of all power produced. The fossil fuel total (Coal [51%], Fuel Oil [12%], and Natural Gas [11%]) is 74%.

The remainder is made up by Nuclear Fission (24%), and Biofuel (2%). All other sources of power are within a margin of error.

Coal has been taking losses due to penalties for emissions, going from 73% in 2022 to 51% in 2026, whereas Fission and Natural Gas have been making the biggest gains: 11 to 23% and 1 to 11%, respectively.

Most of our power sources come from offshore (72%), such as:
1) offshore oil/LNG rigs - currently the largest energy provider in the country, mostly centered on the eastern coast. It currently stands at roughly 47% of total energy generation, though this is expected to fall as the public begins to support renewable energy sources during the past year or so.
2) 2 small wind farms off the northern coasts supply adequate power via a medium capacity direct transmission line to the relatively remote northern parts of the archipelago (managed by a separate grid of which there are no figures available), while a huge project in the south east generates a massive 16% of the rest of Sezraha's energy.
3) Tidal generators, situated all around the country's coasts contribute about 9%.
Other sources of power (14.4%) include:
4) Many buildings have solar panels installed in an effort to convert off grid as electricity prices rise due to the newly imposed (albeit quite unpopular) carbon taxes that take into effect at the beginning of next quarter. This system means that consumers can sell what they don't use back to the central grid, contributing just about 5%.
5) A relatively small amount of power comes from Sezraha's two coal mines, situated deep in the rolling hills of the north. This contributes about 4.5%.
6) Biomass fuel, mainly from plants in the central ridge contributes 3%.
7) Hydro-electric power is provided by the nation's only river suitable for large scale damming - the Crystal River Delta, and produces just 1.9% of total energy output.

Geothermal energy sources generate the rest (13.6%), though this has been deemed too expensive in the energy budget and is currently being replaced by other methods. The current Sezrahan government does not support nuclear power, and thus these abandoned stations that dot the landscape of the country from previous generations have been converted into public spaces for mixed use purposes.
