It has been centuries since humanity ventured off into the stars. War has separated humanity into many interstellar factions across the known universe. Many empires have risen and fallen and now humanity must endure. With Earth in ruins after the Endaris Wars. Now many empires have risen and now will lead humanity to a higher state. The war had left us with nothing and now we must rebuild, we must survive in this unforgiving universe.

Here's an idea I had last night: Bloodborne meets the SCP Foundation. In a land/world similar to Yharnum (or Bloodborne in general), a guild dedicated to cataloging, securing, and containing supernatural artifacts and items finds its work in danger as the beastly plague breaks out. Caused by an SCP not yet pinpointed by the Guild, the members of this Victorian SCP Foundation set out to slay the infected and suppress the sickness, while looking for the cause.

Also, Lovecraftian horror and mystery, murders, etc. All that visceral Bloodborne goodness.

So Germany wins World War 2 but DON'T STOP READING - THIS ISN'T THE EVERYDAY ALTERNATE HISTORY!!!

It would be a Character Roleplay with participants choosing what they would be in this truly fascist & Nazi Germany. The roleplay would be centered on Europe with all characters beginning in Berlin. You could be anything from a military official of the S.S. to a politician of this alternate Germany. Or if rebellion is more your style, you could be a Jewish survivor (as the Holocaust would not have happened at the degree it did due Germany not being brought to its knees causing the 'Final Solution') or perhaps a dissent or rebel of the regime. I would report on the news of the outside world (out of Europe) and on major events. I really like this time period and find it interesting but really have a certain dislike for just nation roleplays of it. Thoughts? Comments?

The Final Solution was the Holocaust; it was implemented in 1942, long before Germany was "brought to its knees". While the rate of executions in the death camps was stepped up as a panic response in the final months of the war, these were all people the Nazis had always planned to kill eventually anyway, and a Nazi victory would only have resulted in more Jewish deaths, not less.

I think an 1800s and/or 1700s RP would be good, you don't seem to find RPs about colonization period or industrial revolution period, I also think an RP structured around Japan and east Asia would be good, it is a very unique place compared to the rest of the world.

You are very correct. Guns aren't that new, they've been around ever since China invented them in the 13th century.

Well by 1600s they had legit arquebusiers no this huge stick like thinks called hand guns.
But yes both periods had guns but I wouldn't consider Medeval guns legit until the Arquebusiers came out.

Can someone help me please? I want to learn how to RP in a safe environment. Meaning I am to afraid to submit my work to some of the RP's I have much interested in this website and it's community. I Want to play here with everyone, a lot of the RP's are so great and the people here post great content. But I am not such a great writer and I want to ask for tips. maybe if i can submit my writing samples to someone to give me tips on how to improve myself? My end goal is to create presentable pieces of writing for the role plays on this website. I myself have been role playing for a time, but it is all in person. On Sunday nights at the bar me and my best friends play Shadow-run and other games before the bar opens to the public, for the last few years that has been my night out with the girls but I want to do it more often than once a week. I am good with getting into character! I just need help with my writing. And if this isn't the right place, I apologize, I looked and looked for a place for RP assistance, but most of the forums here are in fact dedicated to the 'actual' game of nation states. This was the closest I have seen that may offer some help. If this is not the place I would appropriate a reply so I can search elsewhere. Thank you exponentially for the time you took to read this!

Detailed Description: This takes place in Shepard All-Girls Academy, a boarding school located in Vernon Heights, in the city of Fitzpatrick. Players take up the role of students attending the school doing average school things. However, there are traps in this school, some of which would make this seemingly average semester a lot more extraordinary. Good thing the administrators didn't catch any of the male traps yet. Whether that would mean good or bad is up to you.

Need Help With: Looking for interested parties, perhaps with one more Co-OP to add. Need some suggestions as well.

Well, at least you're trying. Last few new NSers I saw were hostile to criticism and believed that they're writing needed no improvement. I'm sure if you want to, people could critique your writing here; I really can't think of a place perfectly suited to that role.

I'm confused. Is the 1600's covering an alternate timeline or is it supposed to be set in the Sengoku Jidai?
