Wearing simple stuff in the cafeteria, he tries his best to be slightly low key.

Tries.

I think I updated everything. If you wanted Marko somewhere more specific, I can change it around. Otherwise for now, I kinda just threw him in somewhere.

Which reminds me I need to figure out who else needs to be sorted into their respective rooms.

Also, I got distracted while posting by listening to/watching an interview for one of my favorite actress' :P. Listening to because dat Irish accent.

Aaanyway, I had more thoughts to form in here, but I'm tired so I'll form them tomorrow.

Character App

Name: Sasha Brierley

Nickname: None. Sasha dislikes nicknames.

Age: 16

Sex: Female

Gender: Agender

Picture Appearance: HERE~

Job Position: N/A

Abilities:
Sasha is able to control the way she appears to people with great ease. One moment she’s as sweet as honey, then the next she’s yelling curses at you as though she were a seasoned military instructor. It is with this skill that she is able to control most people her age. And if intimidation isn’t enough, there’s muscle to come after it. When Sasha learned that she was to have a baby brother, she volunteered to take a score of martial arts classes. She finished all of them, and in her late teens, took training sessions for guns and melee weapons in secret. Apart from that, she’s also got a green thumb and a love for fixing things such as cars and appliances.

Origin:
• Birth Date: February 4, 1998
• Birthplace: Woody Creek, Pitkin County, Colorado, United States of America
• Nationality: American

Personality:
Sasha is well disciplined, but a little too arrogant. She believes herself to be strong-willed and above the sexual needs of a woman. As such, she absolutely hates guys who are sexually aggressive and disrespectful to women, but she also hates girls who act weak and flirtatious, and dress meagerly in order to please and control men. She also hates bullies and people who act as though they know everything and can do whatever the hell they want. Sasha fears very little, and is prone to violence especially if the person under attack is her younger brother Eli.

Equipment:
• Cash, credentials, and a credit card.
• A few of her favorite books. (They’re mostly Stephen King novels and books about military history and technology.)
• iPhone 4
• Appropriate clothing
• HP tablet computer
• Dell Laptop
• Notebooks and stationery items
• Basic hygiene articles
• iPod Touch
• Earphones and Headphones

Suggested Information

Moral Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Blood Type: B-

Height, Weight, Body Type:
5'5" ft. (1.65 m) - 108 lbs. (49 kg.) - Slender build

Distinguishing Marks: N/A

Bio/History:
The Brierley household had always been unstable. Sasha’s father was a military man, while her mother was an alcoholic, a smoker, and secretly a drug-addict. In her earliest years, Sasha’s father taught her discipline, honor, respect, and patriotism. When he left for his first combat tour, she was left with her mother who invited different men each week while her daddy was gone. Nancy Brierley taught her daughter nothing of use, and as such, made no impact. Sasha began to look up to her father and did everything to make him happy, because her mother did nothing but complain about the smallest of things. She acted more like a boy, preferring to go hunting or fishing with her dad, rather than staying home and playing dolls with other girls at school. Before her father’s second combat tour, Sasha learned that she was to have a younger brother. It was at this time that her mother started to hurt her, locking her up in her room, and burning her with cigarettes whenever she wasn’t moving fast enough or when she bought the wrong brand of beer from the convenience store. Fortunately, good old Nancy wasn’t so evil as to have her second child aborted. Sasha began taking martial arts classes after school, so she could protect herself and her brother from their mum, and to surprise her father when he came home.

When Eli turned out, he was weak and sickly, and had a slight defect in his left leg. All due to his mother’s addiction to drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes. Because of that, Sasha trained herself as much as she could, even at home. She was heartbroken when she learned later that her father had lost his left leg to an improvised bomb. Sasha’s anger towards her mother grew when she heard her say ‘Now your father’s twice as useless as he already is’. And a few days before Eliezer Brierley was to retire from combat, an incident came up. Sasha came home one day hearing yells and curses from her mom, and terrorized screams from her brother. Even back then, Eli was weak. Dependent on his sister. But only because he received judgement for his disfigured leg from people outside, and was being physically and verbally abused at home by his mother. Sasha thought this was just another argument or maybe even a spanking, but she was wrong.

She froze in the kitchen doorway to find her brother curled up by the kitchen counter, their mother standing over him, kicking and punching him, calling him a useless cripple, and even breaking a bottle over his head. Eli recoiled further into his fetal position at each blow. There was blood on his face and hands, and next to him was the tray he was told to bring his mother’s dinner with each night. Apparently, he’d tripped and dropped the food thanks to the messed up leg he’d gotten because of his beloved mother’s addictions.

That was when Sasha snapped. She’d been told of the kind of people her father dealt with. People who weren’t afraid to hurt others because those people couldn’t defend themselves. Sasha heard much of them, and grew to hate them. Now she saw one such person before her. Her mother. So she came at Nancy from behind, strangling her and throwing her onto the kitchen floor. Blinded with as much rage as her daughter, Nancy charged at her children with a knife she grabbed from the counter, but was effectively beaten and subdued by Sasha in less than a few seconds, since she was drunk at the time, and unable to move quickly. Eli was told by his sister to call the police. He was limping, since his mother had thrown him off his crutches, and his sight was impaired due to a hit he took beneath his right eye. Nancy was arrested of course, there was enough evidence that she was to blame for Eli’s injuries.

Nancy Brierley was tried and sentenced to 45 years in prison for child abuse, illegal possession of drugs, and attempted murder. The Brierley siblings were transferred to the care of their father, who later divorced Nancy and moved his children away from the home where they’d been mistreated without his knowledge.

With a little more security, Sasha spent the next few years with her brother and their loving father in peace. Even when Eli came out as openly gay to his father, he wasn’t shaken. He had never been a judgmental man in the first place. With this however, came more challenges. Sasha faced more problems at school, since there were guys who had tricked Eli and had gotten him to admit he was gay. They began bullying him until his orientation was known to the entire school, and Sasha found out that they were responsible. When she finally got a chance to confront these bullies, they taunted her further, and that was their mistake. Sasha broke the right leg of the group’s leader and beat the other boys until they could no longer stand up.

This is how she ended up being admitted to Blake Holsey High. Naturally, the parents of those kids complained to the school administration, and demanded that Sasha be expelled. They were made aware of their children’s tendency to bully other kids, but of course, Sasha didn’t really have to beat the crap out of them despite how much they deserved it. Eli was moved to another school where his father could keep a good eye on him while Sasha moved further away. She accepted her “punishment” without fuss and made her dad promise that he’d take good care of himself and Eli. Sasha’s father will be paying for her education, but she’ll be taken there by her father’s older sister.

Additional Fun Stuff

Voice: Chloe Moretz

Sex Orientation: Heterosexual, but not interested in having a relationship.

Likes:
Pasta, pizza, and meat. Sasha also likes plants, cars, guns, action movies, martial arts, outdoor sports like hiking, cycling, football, and american football.

Dislikes:
Sasha hates douchebags, bullies, bimbos, sluts, drug addicts, and terrorists the most. Then there’s veggies like okra, carrots, and cabbage, also spicy foods and seafoods all except for squid.

Disorders & Handicaps:
PTSD, from what her mother did to Eli, and what she herself did to her mother. Also, anger issues. Like, serious anger issues.

Fears, Wishes, and Goals:
Fears – Losing control over herself and hurting people again.
Wishes – She could be closer to family.
Goals – Sasha would like to gain full control over her temper. She also wants to forget what happened between her and her mother in order to effectively protect her brother and father. Sasha realized after being spoken to by a psychiatrist that those events had caused her to lose control and become unable to regulate her actions.

I'll let Ariana respond to Marko and Farah before responding.

And I dont mean to be an ass but Marko's name isnt mentioned yet, and he's just greeting Ariana. Also Farah needs to consider the fact that she's butting in to an existing conversation...

Yep that works. It's just the first day of school after all. Also don't wish to drag out the interaction lol, might be a long one.

I'm not sure on how the US school system works so I'm using a little creative license when I apped up, but weekends should be free yes? Since Marko would need it to play in his soccer league and stuff. I'll also come up with a fictional league fixture since the only popular soccer league which exists is the MSL, which Marko isn't a part of yet.

New Antonalia, you do know that these types of RP's don't utilize actual nations, right? They're completely OOC NationStates nation wise. There is a forum section for in-character nation stuff, though.

Right, since my team won game two at the World Cup of Hockey (and the quarter finals don't start until tomorrow night), not to mention that I've gotten over my cold, I might have a post up tomorrow. It depends on whether or not I can find something for Peter to do or, if anyone's interested, someone for him to talk to. Besides, if there's a library on-site, I might have him go there from time to time.

I could probably do interactions if needed.

And hmm, I dunno if there was a library in the school or not, but since I'm expanding it from the show anyway, there could at least be one nearby off site (Like, on the school grounds, just not IN the school)

I just realised this is a TV show (didn't follow much US TV.). Guess I'll need some orientation along the way.

It's vaguely based off of it at best, though. But we will probably have some weirdness like it.

And yeah, it was on Discovery Kids, though it was made by a Canadian company if I recall.

How'd you like the Ariana-Marko storyline to progress? I'm thinking that he might be able to help her fulfill her dreams, for one.

I don't have an entire idea for it yet, but being her, things would probably progress rather quickly...That's the main ideas I have in my head for her any time I use her.

How'd you like the Ariana-Marko storyline to progress? I'm thinking that he might be able to help her fulfill her dreams, for one.

I don't have an entire idea for it yet, but being her, things would probably progress rather quickly...That's the main ideas I have in my head for her any time I use her.

Mm, 3 months would be a pretty long time to achieve it then ;)
How to be legitimately recognised in NS? Be a proper Roleplayer.
In a community where knowledge should be used to uplift the teachable and be used as an interest instead of a necessity, the arrogant abuse of knowledge is interesting to watch.

Alright, thanks mate. Do you have a specific character in mind or are you just going to pick one at random?

Also, that's fine by me. Besides, it's just somewhere for Peter to go if he needs some peace and quiet, maybe catch up on some reading or borrow any books that he needs for school.

I just realised this is a TV show (didn't follow much US TV.). Guess I'll need some orientation along the way.

Don't worry, mate. You're not the only one. It was either on a channel I didn't have or I just never got round to watching. Besides, I think they've stopped airing it on TV here in the UK, so I'll probably have to go to YouTube or somewhere like that.

Honestly, at her current state with her trying to reach her goal, depending who she had ended up with, her goal could happen really quick (And I'd need to make a new goal, which uh, that may be hard with her since she's not really one who thinks long term). Like, maybe even a week quick. But like I said, it depends how the character is (In this case, yours), and how they'd personally feel about it and such like that.

Oh yeah, and I did mean to mention that there are other things that may happen that I'm not going to tell, though it also depends on how things happen (Very specific details, too). I just hope you're fine with the element of surprise :). Life is full of them, right? And I kinda like that in RP's, too.

And no, I'm not flinging death on you all of a sudden. I don't go THAT far :P. Not suddenly anyway.

I might do something with the character I haven't even done anything with yet, Karlee, but I'm not entirely sure. A lot of my characters are still caught up in conversations, so I am limited.

I re-watched it on YouTube recently ish, but not all of it is there. Most of it, though.

It's definitely a kids show now, but it's still interesting in its own right. Definitely was an intriguing kids show.

this

I actually pretty much made the main character in that (Josie) last time, but I decided to do more of my own creations this time instead.
