Every day it seems worse and worse. The attacks are more frequent now. These invaders are hurting us more and more with every blow they strike. Last week they pillaged our granary. Carrying all our food away, while we were powerless to do anything but watch. They don't even eat gold, not like in the myths, but they're plenty willing to take it from you as soon as look at you, just to have a little bit more. We're not likely to survive much longer at this rate, and not at all if we don't get our food stores back. There may still be something left of it, in that pestilential hellhole they call home. We're going out to get it back, the ones who are left. It will be an all or nothing raid. We win, or we die trying. I don't fancy our chances very much, but even so I'm going to take as many of those bastards with me as possible. Humans. They're a disgusting lot.

That would be the best option. You can make an excuse like your character got to do something that night and have to show up the next night, or something you can come up with, just to add a little spice to it.

Relevant experience: Kenneth is the first born of two (has a sister, Chryseis) his Father is a doctor at Sunset Gates Base Hospital, and his mother is a housewife. And a witch. Since he was young he saw things others could not see, this of course, caused him to be ridiculed and bullied more often than not until he learned to keep quiet about such things. His father introduced him to a friend of his, an Israeli war veteran that taught him Krav Maga so he could defend himself from the bullying. His mother in the meanwhile, having realized about his son's ability to sense the supernatural began teaching him about the "other" world and what lies therein, both wonders and dangers. He enjoys camping and the quiet of being surrounded by a forest in the middle of nowhere, this has helped him to be more attuned with nature and helped him focus and calm his mind.
Personal strengths and weaknesses: He can be very calm, analyzing situations before acting. Due to the bullying and ridicule he has suffered he is somewhat introverted and does not trust people easily, it is difficult for him to make friends. If you become his friend, he's got your six, if you break his trust and/or betray his friendship, well, if you were dying of thirst and he had the last glass of water, he'd drink it all in front of you.
Goals: Hmm.. he has not a definite goal in mind, still has no idea what he wants to do with his life, and his mother told him to take the part time job to earn some money. Might she be guiding him into something?

Relevant experience : Seamus is a typical ex-hoodlum. A former muscle guy and legbreaker for various low level crooks and hoodlums. But like every dumb crook, his past (And the police) caught up with him eventually. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison when he was 17. Naturally, an ex-con wasn't a shining applicant for any sort of regular work. So, he eventually found his way to work a guy like him was semi-capable of doing. Soul reaping. He actually lives in a shed on the campus of Western District High. Acting as an unofficial boss/scared-straight type man, working to save his fellow hoodlums from his life.
Personal strengths and weaknesses: Seamus doesn't quit a fight. Ever. Years on the street and a decade locked up made him a walking wall. However, he's not the brightest bulb on the tree. Has issues taking orders from people, and tends to put his own well-being above others.
Goals To keep himself and fellow WDH students out of prison.

There's a couple of issues here. 1. It's probably not a good idea to post in the IC thread before you're character's been accepted, one of the reasons being that

2. You might end up contradicting or complicating what's been planned out ahead of time. What I mean is that I didn't intend for anyone to have experience with the supernatural beforehand so that I could sort of explain things as we got to them. There are work arounds compromises we can talk about, for instance something like a witch mother who mysteriously disappeared before explaining anything inconvenient, or something along those lines.

3. Tonfas seem like an odd choice for someone who trained in krav maga, I was under the impression that that was an unarmed thing. Also I need to add the usual, weapons that aren’t you’re scythe will be generally ineffective against most of the stuff you fight. I’ve been somewhat flexible About this to start with because everyone’s been fighting zombies and they’re basically a human body but once you start fighting tougher stuff it’ll basically do nothing.
