• Creation of a diverse and malicious environment,

Acknowledging that behind such a hellhole is a player that is extremely dedicated to exploring and investigating the mysterious game mechanics that govern NationStates,

Celebrating the tireless experimentation and contributions of this NationStates scholar, known by many as “Professor Hell” in his School of Ideological Studies where he has critically analyzed:
• Government types,
• Issue repetition,
• Ideological categories for nations,
• National qualities (Political Freedoms, Economy, Civil Rights),

Yep it was deleted about seven hours after the Major Update on July 2. There is some controversy over if had reached quorum or not. At the major update it only had seven more approvals that it needed, so it should have been able to have gained seven more approvals in seven hours.. however, that is a slow period of activity for NationStates, so I won't rule it out. So, Kenny, if you're wondering for the timeline... I have no fucking idea. Ananke said she saw the proposal last with one approval needed, she didn't specify what time.

While I agree that the proposals are likely in violation of Rule 4, biased SC proposals are not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, most SC proposals are biased in one way or another. Few nations are ONLY bad or ONLY good - so all C&C's either ignore the contradictory facts or sweep them under the rug as being "irrelevant" to the proposal at hand.

I think we can all agree that this goes a bit far on the bias scale, considering that it seems like Arathian Nation seems to be the only one who's said that.

I agree with Joshuahood that all four of those are in breach of Rule 4, and I agree with Mousebumples that a bit of bias is to be expected -- if you think that @@nationame@@ "tramples democracy and provides no leadership, but buckles under in the face of outside threats", you're not likely to want to add "but is kind to animals".

I wouldn't say that "a greedy tyrant nation that abuses the power of the World Assembly" is going too far. Move that into the real world, substitute "the US" or "China" or "Russia" for "Minosnek" and replace "World Assembly" with "United Nations Security Council", and you've got next week's/last year's headlines.

But that sort of language makes it a "silly" proposal. Delegates aren't dumb, and most quickly learn to ignore the icing -- the abusive words and phrases -- and go for the cake -- what the nation actually did. If there's very little cake, there are very few approvals for the proposal.

And if The Cake Is A Lie, well, we all know what that means ...

you forgot that for like a minute I tried to condem minosnek, that is why he got mad at me and also because I started a war with him, He also tried to condem the whole region but got kicked out for direct violation of rules because he submitted my proposal for abolishing the WA. He got mad at me, left the region and re-applied. I then resighned fearing his and others wrath. Now the two proposals are condem and commend minosnek, funny huh?

MINOSNEK: a greedy tyrant nation that abuses the power of the World Assembly to try to gain regional power. A nation that doesn’t care for most nations in the region. And a nation that doesn’t recognize the Arathian Nation on how many good deeds the nation has done.

A retaliation Condemnation in my opinion, seems to be trying to get the SC to go against Minosnek because he wouldn't "recognize the Arathian Nation on how many good deeds the nation has done," among other petty things. Basically whining.


ALL FOUR of these proposals came from members of the same region, in response to Minosnek being mad at Arathian for something, condemning him, Johnia went with Arathian maybe, Minosnek condemn him too, someone decides to commend Minosnek for good work, Arathian gets mad at all of this and condemns the source: Minosnek. Or at least that is what I gained from watching this unfold.

They all seem to be trying to get the SC to go against/for someone, because they can't solve it themselves. They are all biased.

you forgot that for like a minute I tried to condem minosnek, that is why he got mad at me and also because I started a war with him, He also tried to condem the whole region but got kicked out for direct violation of rules because he submitted my proposal for abolishing the WA. He got mad at me, left the region and re-applied. I then resighned fearing his and others wrath. Now the two proposals are condem and commend minosnek, funny huh?

Well, I'm not stalking the region, so I wouldn't know EVERYTHING, would I?
