He believes he fought Batman a hundred years earlier (and is in fact the chatacter from the second Batman by Gaslight story) but since that never occurred in canon he is just a madman wanred vengeance on Batman for a fantasy.


Any thoughts?

Good idea. I haven't read Gotham by the Gaslight, although it seems interesting, but I can see your character being an interesting adversary for Batman.

I think I am not going to make another character. If I will, sometime in the future, it will have to be Ras Al Ghul.

Name: Alexandre Leroi, the Man of Yesterday
Alias: Alexandre Leroi, the Man of Tomorrow (Formerly),
Age: Mid to Late 30s
Side (Hero, Villain, Anti-Hero, Government, etc.): Villain
Appearance and Personality:A man, flamboyantly dressed almost in Napoleonic atire. Note that his left leg has been replaced by clockwork. Alexandre Leroi is insane, believing himself to have fought Batman over a hundred years ago in another Gotham. The only explanation he gives for why his left side is disfigured and his left leg replaced by crude automatonic parts is "Batman". He has brilliant intelligence but is very arrogant to the point that he fails to realize danger around him and has delusions of grandeur.
Abilities and Weapons: Alexandre Leroi is a world-class fencer and even having clockwork for his left leg has not stopped him from being very agile. He also has a genius level intellect but us hesitant to use any modern technology. He always carries his personal rapier made out of expertly crafted steel along with several grapping hooks. He is also able to construct many devices and weapons such as primative automatons, solar cannons, hot air balloon (and with the right parts and time could build a Zeppelin, and various other small items.
Weakness(es): Leroi is human and incredibly arrogant. He is so arrogant that he may ignore other threats if he is focused on one hated enemy. His left leg also occasionally gets stuck leaving him vulnerable and he is is hesitatant to use modern technolgy.
Biography: A Frenchman by nationality, very little is known of his past, although prior to his arrival in Gotham about three days ago he had demonstrated his skill with the sword in the French fencing circuit, defeating Olympian athletes. Naturally this garnered him some fame, epically with one his legs replaced by his homemade clockwork contraption. He soon moved on from France, boarding a boat bound for Gotham, and cursing the country for what he considered terrible environmental policies. Since arriving in Gotham he has lain relatively low, though he did not arrive unnoticed and rumors quickly spread of the clockwork man with a bone to pick with Batman. No one is sure of his motivation, and only rumor surrounds him. He has not yet done anything to show malevolence towards Gotham or Batman but the rumors insist that he plans to strike...

Appearance: Often seen wearing a trenchcoat, tophat, and large black boots. Blank Facemask, which appears to be fused with his face. Due to Alexandria's Genesis, naturally deep-purple eyes under his 'mask'.
Personality: Sociopathic. Mr. Nobody will use others to get what he wants. He has no concept of empathy or sympathy, and doesn't care if his right-hand man is killed, rather viewing it as an inconvenience.
Abilities and Weapons: Expert Melee Fighter, Expert Weapons Fighter, Expert Long-range Gun User. Mr. Nobody can also change his voice through some means to sound like those of his victims, as well as being peak-human strength level (see bio); otherwise, no other 'powers'.
Weaknesses: Humanity. Occasionally leaves the message, 'Nothing to see here' or 'Nobody was here' at crime scenes.
Biography: Victor Jones was born with two very rare genetic sets. One was Alexandria's Genesis, giving him naturally purple eyes throughout his life. The second was muscle hypertrophy, which resulted in his bones and muscles continuing to keep themselves at their 'peak' condition, as well as inhibiting the growth of fat. Jones' apparent mental defects were first noticed at age seven, when he brutally stabbed a fellow student with a pair of scissors in the throat. Jones saw the world as a bunch of self-destructive nonsense, and expressed this in his teenage years. He was in and out of foster homes after the police removed him from his parents' custody. He was also often in and out of psych wards. Eventually, Jones began to call himself 'Mr. Nobody'. He wore blankface masks all the time, even in psych wards. Jones' sanity began declining somewhat, making him mentally unstable. Eventually, he purposely fused a blank-face mask to himself, making it's 'mouthpiece' flexible so he could still speak. Mr. Nobody is often irritable and easily enraged. Jones was also shown to be very manipulative, as he often manipulated people to work for him when it was often a suicide run against police that would end in their deaths rather than his own. Jones is incapable of fear, or any other emotion, due to his sociopathic behavior. This means intimidation tactics simply make him apathetic to the situation. Jones doesn't care how large of a body count he leaves behind, as long as it gets him money. Mr. Nobody's odd ability to mimick people's voices seems to be a natural one, although this is unconfirmed. Jones often likes to cause small crimes so he can go 'bat hunting', though the rarity he actually shows up is pretty high.
