Look I've admitted this is a extreme but not selling a particular item that doesn't line up with a policy of an entity, is not the same as not being able to shop there at all. That is a completely different level.
What policy? One that's strictly against racial hatred/prejudice in all its forms? Then why is Apple still selling apps with Nazi swastikas and Adolf Hitler's mug on them? This has nothing to do with being principled. It's all about bowing to trends in public opinion.

If it works, if it looks shiny and hip, and the price and quality is good, then I buy. At worst this ban on Confederate items just leaves a slight bitter taste in my mouth. But overall the product quality of Apple prevails.

...Sorry? What was the punchline? Apple stuff isn't well made. It's made to break as quickly as possible so that you have to pay their exorbitant prices to replace it.

Slavery is mentioned in some of the seceding declaration but it is not the only reason.
It never was. The Civil War wasn't all about slavery, I learned it a long time ago in high school.

What do you mean?
I am very satisfied with the design, user friendliness, style and design of the Mac and the iPhone. And they haven't been breaking down.

Sure I might be a bit annoyed that they would discriminate against Confederates, but I judge by the merit of the products they create. You can just tell that when they build something... there's always a vision and its always about quality, heart and flair.
